Story
Hey, I`m Fuchsia and I am hoping to be your new best bud! Life in the shelter can be scary for a dog like me. The staff and volunteers are lovely and they do their best, but I belong in a home. I spend my days dreaming of a warm and welcoming abode with a big couch so I can curl up with my person. A big comfy bed I could should share would be ideal too, but I`m not picky. The only things I absolutely require of my dream home is to be an only dog, have no young children, and to have an adopter who loves me as much as I love them. I will be nervous when I meet you in the shelter, but once you bring me home you will be met with a loving, snuggly, relaxed lady who is preparing to show you my love every second of every day!

Story
🍩♥️🍩 ADOPT ME 🍩♥️🍩 Reintroducing Miss Strudel. We saved her about a month back. Strudel and her siblings were caught up in a court case & living in a shelter for the majority of their young lives. We think it took a toll on her ability to trust humans. Moving forward, she has blossomed in her foster home as to be expected. She absolutely loves her canine friends, and they bring her great comfort. We believe her to be some sort of Lab/Cur mix around 9-10 months old. Strudel stats - 🍪 Strudel will need to be placed in a home with another dog or dogs. She greatly relies on her other furry friends for comfort and reassurance on how to be a normal dog. She has lived in a foster home with a cat as well. 🍰 Strudel will need a patient owner who understands what she has endured in her young life. She can be quite fearful and shy. She is very kind and sweet though in time with normal living conditions, she will become a well balanced dog. 🧁 Strudel is taught daily how to walk on a leash, an ideal home would have a fenced yard. No electric fences or off leash for this timid lady as she’s learning to trust, will spook easily and run off. 🥧 Strudel is a lovely, sweet, quiet, curious, goofy gal who longs to trust her handler. She has made enormous steps in the month we have had her in our care. 🍨 Besides her fearful nature she is your average puppy, loves her toys, loves her food & loves her friends. With all the dogs needing homes in this world, you may ask yourself why should I choose her? First of all she’s a beauty, secondly, she is a very nice size at about 40 pounds and thirdly, she will be your forever companion. There’s something very rewarding about changing a dog’s life and seeing them transform. As the years go by, you probably wouldn’t even remember how scared she was in the beginning. 👉🏻 Interested in ADOPTING??? 👈🏻 Fill out an application on our website or email us ➡️ www.Canineliberationleague.com ➡️ Canineliberationleague@gmail.com Strudel is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, fecal, and heartworm tested. 📍Location - South Lyon, MI ♥️♥️♥️♥️ PLEASE SHARE ♥️♥️♥️ Sharing saves lives, when we adopt out one of our fosters we can save more!!! 🙌🏻

Story
Meet Toaster!!! This special little lady appears to have had a rough start in life thus far. The history we know on her is, she came up from a kill shelter in Texas only to land in a hoarding situation here in Michigan. After being caught up in a court case in a local shelter for months on end, she is now safe with our rescue! We don’t know exactly what has made her such a timid girl, but she struggles with trusting humans. She is scared of them. Despite her fearful nature she is extremely gentle & kind. She will need a bleeding heart type owner who will give her time to gain confidence and look to them for love. Toaster stats - * Approx 3 yrs old, 30-35lbs, and we think she is a very mixed breed dog. * She is social with other dogs, although she doesn’t buddy up closely, we do know they bring her comfort. She was in a home with all her puppies & approx 20+ other dogs. She is the farthest from dominant or overbearing with others. * Kids 12 & up due to her ability to get scared & retreat. * Toasty is extremely well-behaved! Sometimes you don’t even know that she’s there. She’s quiet as a mouse and doesn’t require much. Simple in many ways! She’s very gentle, sweet, quiet, low-energy & docile. * Toaster will need a soft-spoken, supportive owner who will encourage her to come out of her shell positively. In time we know she will learn that humans won’t hurt her, and she will develop a deep bond with the person who gives her a chance at the happiness she’s longed for. From the moment we saw our Toasty girl we could tell she was special. We hope someone out there can see her beauty & grace as well. In all reality she is a very easy dog, but will need to overcome the obstacles which make her deject herself from truly living free. If you feel you want to be a part of making her dreams come true, apply for adoption by emailing or visiting our website for an application - >>>Canineliberationleague@gmail.com >>>www.Canineliberationleague.com Toaster is current on all vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, fecal & heartworm tested. Story
🍭🍭🍭ADOPT ME🍭🍭🍭 Oh, Lolli-Lolli-Lolli, LolliPop! Sweeter than apple-pie, Miss Lolli is ready to find her forever home! We believe Lolli to be an 8 year-old black Labrador mix, weighing in at 72lbs. Though she initially seems like a plain Jane, Lolli is out ready to win Miss America with her stunning smile and award-winning personality! Her eagerness and vivacity is enough to win anyone over and she brings joy to any home. As you can tell, we love the big, goofy gals! Lolli’s breakdown: 🍬Housebroken & crate-trained 🍬Lolli is dog-social but hasn’t been cat tested. She’s comfortably lived with multiple dogs, but from what we’ve seen she doesn’t really seek to buddy up with them 🍬Lolli is a senior, as you can tell from her greying muzzle, but she’s not slowed down just yet! This lady is spry as can be and is still loving life! 🍬Lolli is fairly easy going as a dog and doesn’t need too much from you aside from your companionship (and lots of toys and extra treats) 🍬This lady is a big toy lover! You can often find her throughout the day with her dragon-hoard of toys that she drags onto her bed 🍬Lolli has an all-star, shining smile that puts her out above the rest! Lolli is a wonderful dog but unfortunately, we expect many people to pass her by. The cards are stacked against her because she’s not only older, but also a black dog. Black dogs are the LEAST ADOPTED color of dog, which is a shame! We LOVE our black dogs are CLL and Lolli is no exception. The fact of the matter is that Miss Lolli is exactly what most people want in a dog and most will look past her. I implore you to not make this mistake! ???Interested in Adoption??? Apply for adoption by emailing us for an application or an electronic version on our webpage - 🍭Email - Canineliberationleague@gmail.com 🍭Website - www.Canineliberationleague.com Lolli is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, & Bordetella. She also has been fecal & heartworm tested. 🩷 PLEASE SHARE 🩷 📍Location - South Lyon, MI

Story
Meet little Zander! He is a super snuggly 4.5 month old boy, good with all other dogs big and small. Loves to cuddle on couch and give kisses. Sleeps through the night if he's sleeping with you! He is great with his teething and only chews his toys so far. He does have to use a slow feeder doggie dish he eats too fast. Zander is currently potty training and getting the hang of it quickly! He is a quiet little guy and would love for someone to scoop him up. He’s just a total love bug!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, please let me introduce myself, my name is Sarah and I am a Lab/Jack Russell Terrier. I am house trained and crate trained, and love to go on walks and sniff around a securely fenced backyard.  Did I tell you that its me that pick all the tomatoes from the plants in the yard ? I am also spayed and have had all of my shots. Sarah was abused by her first human family, so she finds it hard to trust new people and has fear aggression. It will take time to gain Sarah's trust and multiple meetings.  She needs an owner that can give her guidance (and plenty of treats) in situations when she feels insecure. After meeting a trainer Sarah have improved a lot and she responds to her special verbal command.  A training class would be a great adventure for Sarah and her new family. She will excel and perform as an A-student, she likes to learn and is eager to please. Building a relationship with Sarah will be time well spent, once she has overcome her insecurity and fear she is a GREAT active, loyal, and loving dog.  Please come and meet me,  I need is a chance to find my permanent home. Older children only pleas e.    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This handsome dude is Diesel.  Diesel has a sad backstory, but we want to focus on his new life that began when he came into care with HDDCR.  Diesel is a big boy at about 75 pounds and about 5 years old.  He came into care in bad shape, flea infested with very long nails and a large mass on his hip.  His rescuer immediately addressed his condition, and Diesel enjoyed a spa day where he was pampered and loved on. Then it was off to the vet to address the mass which turned out to be a ruptured cyst, not cancer.  Diesel is heartworm negative, UTD on his vaccines, neutered, and will be microchipped before going to his adoptive family.  Diesel is a strong dog, but also gentle when taking treats.  He knows some commands and previously lived with a Chihuahua and a cat.  Diesel is a laid-back boy that deserves a family who will never abandon him again. If Diesel sounds like a great addition to your family submit your application because we don't think he will be with us long.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Story
Hi my name is Kent! I am a shy kind of dog who is looking for a patient owner who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. The shelter is a stressful place sometimes, and for me, I have been pretty pent-up and overwhelmed. I am trying my best with my friends at the shelter to work on my training and to build my confidence. I have been conflicted meeting other dogs, so I need to meet other dogs to go home with them. It is possible I would prefer to be the only dog in the home though. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption survey online or in the shelter.

Story
Hi my name is Spyro! I am a good boy and I am looking for an active owner willing to offer training and exercise, but in return I can offer unconditional love and years of happiness. I do have some big feelings about some things in this world and tend to express this by reacting with barking and may be a bit too much for some families. I’m a high energy dog, I love to jump and play. My energy may not be suitable for young children. Some have described me as a lot, especially when I see other dogs, so I’d do best in a home without other dogs. I will need to continue my training and HSHV offers classes for dogs like me! Visit www.hshv.org for more information.
