Story
Life wasn’t kind to Belle Noelle before entering rescue. This petite labby/pittie mix was found as an emaciated stray and brought to the local shelter. Unfortunately for Belle, being heart worm positive, needing FHO surgery, and overlooked next to the tiny puppies she kenneled near- her time was running out.  Our rescue partner Sarah saw the beauty in this gal that so many missed and sprung her from the shelter. Belle’s journey to getting healthy and leading a happy life had officially begun. Sarah nursed Belle through heart worm treatment, FHO surgery and getting her weight up before this sweet pup came to us here in New England. Belle has been in foster care with other dogs and has made for a great doggy roommate. When on leash, Belle is working on her manners and seems to thrive best in the suburbs. Her foster family has such great feedback on their time with her and shares she is an incredibly easy houseguest! Story
MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED FEBRUARY 17 - 23 AS PART OF THE MISSED CONNECTIONS ADOPTION EVENT !!! Meet Happy, whose name pretty much says it all! This bouncy guy LOVES fetch, and is super sweet and snuggly once comfortable. Happy would make a great adventure buddy - his hobbies include bunny hopping through the snow and long sniffy walks with his favorite people. As his name suggests, lots of things make Happy excited, so he’ll do best with adopters who continue his training and provide lots of enrichment to help him learn to settle down and enjoy some quiet time. Happy could do well on his own or with a confident dog who can show him the ropes and match his rowdy play style. He’ll need consistency in the home, so kids should be respectful of his training plan and comfortable with a big bouncy boy who’s still learning his manners. If you think Happy could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by MSPCA at Northeast Animal Shelter. We have open adoption hours 11:30am-5pm daily - no appointment or application needed. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat areas will remain open to walk through.

Story
MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED FEBRUARY 17 - 23 AS PART OF THE MISSED CONNECTIONS ADOPTION EVENT !!! Tabby is a sweet and silly girl who’s equal parts active and snuggly, and she wants to be your best friend! Some of her favorite things are sturdy chew toys, giving kisses, and crunchy treats. Tabby struggles to settle down on her own, and is looking for an adopter who is committed to learning her body language and adjusting her environment to keep her calm and comfortable. The ideal home will have a designated space where Tabby can decompress or settle with a toy and keep herself entertained. Tabby can be a bit worried around younger kids, but could live with older children and teenagers provided they can understand her body language and contribute to her training. Based on her history, we believe she could live with a cat or another dog after a slow and well-managed introduction. If you think Tabby could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by MSPCA at Northeast Animal Shelter. We have open adoption hours 11:30am-5pm daily - no appointment or application needed.
