Friends is back! Most of the cast anyway 😊 Rachel, Monica, Ross and Chandler are ready to love their way into your lives. These sweet babies are lab mixes who were found on the street by a local animal control, dodging out of traffic and on the verge of getting run over. The shelter was full, so they contacted us to help. We knew we could not leave the babies out there, so we got them to safety in a foster home Our friends crew consist of 2 males and 2 females that we estimate were born around June 24th and are some of the gentlest, butt wiggling puppies. They are so excited when they’re around people. They just love everybody they meet, including children. They could run around the yard and play for as long as you’d let them, as long as they’re around their people. They love to be your shadow and get lots of pets. They’ll roll on their bellies in excitement, hoping you’ll rub their bellies. As of 9/24 they weigh between 10-15 lbs. While we do not know who their parents are, we believe they’ll be around 45-50 lbs once full grown. Their paws are not very big. They are working on house training They LOVE other dogs and have met inside and outside kitties and have no issues with them. Rachel is the runt of the litter, she is a little bottle rocket, always on the go and so full of energy and zoomies. She is one of the most outgoing of the litter. She LOVES her treats and is very food motivated. She is not picky at all about what she gets, as long as it’s food and love. Once she’s done playing, she will be the first to cuddle up to you, very sweet. Rachel would be best in a more active home. Monica is the 2nd smallest of the litter, and she is much quieter and gentler than Rachel is. She likes to sit back and watch the rest of the litter cause chaos. She is curious but when she tries something out, she makes sure her siblings tried it first, so she knows it’s safe and she won’t get in trouble for it. Very smart. Would do best in a medium active to less active home as she prefers to Netflix and chill more than anything else. Chandler is the 3rd smallest of the litter and the smallest male. He is very similar in personality to Monica – he is calmer and gentler than Ross and Rachel. He has the saddest eyes when he looks up at you, almost worried he’s done something wrong. Chandler likes to explore but he is more cautious about it and lets Ross go first. Another dog in the home would benefit Chandler as he can gain confidence from another doggy. A medium to low key home would be best for this sweet boy. Ross is the largest of the litter, and he is also the only black and tan one of the litter. He is next in line for most outgoing, right behind Rachel. Ross is VERY sweet and rambunctious and loves to play. He is super-duper friendly and will give sweet kisses for days. He is the bravest of the 4 and will try anything first, he has no shame in his game. He loves to explore and go on adventures. Ross would do best in a more active home. Born July 10th, these beautiful pups are as rambunctious and fun as can be! Mom is a pure bred blue lacy and dad is a mix of some sort. We believe they’ll be about 45-60 lbs full grown. The mom is about 40 lbs and a beautiful red color, and the dad is about 70 lbs with long white hair. There are 3 males and 1 female left. The foster said this about them: SUGAR: Sugar is 100% a kissy love bug and a water bug too. She loves going for a dip in the water (full body), playing and digging in the mud in the water hose, and she will even bob and fully submerge her face in the water. She is very playful and will run after the ball and will bring it back on occasion. Sugar likes to stay active and remain busy. She finds joy in playing with sticks, cups, bugs or anything she can find, she especially likes things that make noise. This beautiful, Amber-eyed girl is currently working on crate training and is adjusting well to sleeping in a wire crate at night. GUMBO: Gumbo is the sweetest most affectionate boy. He loves all of the attention all the time and likes to be near people. He is a true social butterfly. Gumbo especially enjoys playtime he enjoys doing all activities including fetch (running after the ball) and playing in the water hose, he loves being brushed and any physical touch. Gumbo, with his dark brown eyes, is very friendly and gets along well with others. He loves to give kisses and is very outgoing personality wise. CHEETO: Cheeto is a stunning, sweet boy, with beautiful amber colored eyes. He loves getting his belly rubbed, however he is currently unsure if he likes to be brushed. He is very alert and always happy to greet you with a wagging tail. He enjoys playing outdoors and running after the ball. He is an all-around type of guy and shares well with other dogs. BISCUIT: This handsome brown eyed guy loves him some human attention and physical touch. He is always eager to greet you with kisses and his tail wagging and loves him some belly rubs. He is very easy-going. Biscuit loves to play with bugs and to run after the ball. At times biscuit can be somewhat a couch potato and on occasion enjoys some alone time away from his siblings. The puppies were born in the home where the parents are located. The parents both have wonderful temperaments, and the puppies have been raised around a 4-year-old and 7-year-old and they do wonderful with the kids. Sugar, Gumbo, Cheese and Biscuit have been raised around kids, other dogs, cats and all types of humans and they do wonderful with everybody. They love to be around people, and they especially love to be held. They are very loyal puppies already and will follow you around and shadow you. They’re very curious and currently love to explore and get into everything they can. These babies love other dogs, all sizes. They love to play and run around the yard and house, following the other dogs everywhere they go. They would thrive with another dog in the home or would do fine without one. Blue lacys are known for their intelligence, activity and alertness. While we do not recommend a low-key household, a medium to high active household would be perfect for them. They’re only tiny puppies learning new things, and as long as they are not trained for certain things, the foster and our team do not see them being high energy. Our B litter is ready for adoption! This sweet litter of pups are about 9-10 weeks, born around mid-November 2024. These puppies are some of the lucky ones – a good Samaritan saw a mangy, starving dog eating scrap someone threw out in a back corner of a Mexican restaurant by a dumpster. She couldn’t turn away. The good Samaritan was going to just help mom, when she realized mom looks to have just had puppies. It’s like the momma dog knew someone was there to help, and she turned away from the scrap food and started walking down the street. The good Samaritan followed this momma dog for almost 2 miles to a home, where when they walked up, 7 puppies came running out from under the house (see video!) The homeowner didn’t claim mom or puppies, nor did she want anything to do with them. She refused to feed them or offer them shelter. It took some time, but after a few days, we were able to get all 7 pups and mom to safety. Mom is about 32 lbs and has a wire-hair coat, we have named her Lainey and she will also be available for adoption soon. We do not know who dad is. We believe pups will vary in size with the 2 runts (Baby ad Belle) staying smaller than the others – but generally we believe they will stay around 40 lbs. Please keep in mind that these puppies had minimal human interaction until a few weeks ago, but they are now in their prime age for impression, training and growing in a home to learn from. They all would do wonderfully with well-behaved children, other dogs and cats. They did not chase stray cats at the home they were at and they LOVE other dogs. Here’s a breakdown of the litter and some information on each one: All weights are as of 1/19/25 Baby – Male Runt – 7.5 lbs – Black and white (tri color) – Semi wirehair and very short hair – does not seem to shed much, if at all – Very playful. Very outgoing. Fun to watch play as he is so much tinier than the other pups. Daring. First pup to try anything. Aims to please. Wants to be next to you and get lots of love and love you. All homes would be ideal, all ages of children would be great for Baby. Belle – Female Runt – 4.4 lbs – Black and White – Wirehair – Does not seem to shed – She is quite timid but friendly and does come around. Will make the best baby. She defends herself against all the other bigger pups. Fierce and won’t let anyone pick on her. Is learning to play with toys. Could be a lap dog with lots of patience. Minimal-mild active home that is patient. Beau – Male – 10.2 lbs – Brown and White – Wirehair – Does not seem to shed – Needs someone with some patience. He is a bit timid and would rather watch everyone else play before joining. He would do best with another dog in the home. Beau is learning to trust people and his surroundings. Minimal-Mild Active home that is patient. Bree – Female – 11.4 lbs – Black and White – Short hair, minimal shedding – She is a hoot to have around. She loves to talk to you and is very vocal. She doesn’t mind telling you how she feels. She’s more of a leader and she keeps all the other puppies in check and in their place. If any of them start bickering, Bree will be there to break it up. She’s not afraid to test the waters and try anything new. A bit shorter of legs and stocky build. A more active home is preferred. Blue – Male – 12.4 lbs – Black and White – Short hair, minimal shedding – This gentle giant boy is so sweet. He is the biggest of the litter. He is very curious but won’t try anything first. He will stand back and watch. He is learning to trust humans and his surroundings. Very smart. Blue would be great with another dog to teach him or someone willing to put in the time and patience for training and socialization. Would love someone to force cuddles on him so he can learn to fully love people. Not a mean bone in his body. Mildly active home ideal, with patience. Biscuit – Male – 11.1 lbs – Brown and White – Wire Hair – Does not seem to shed – This lover boy is the most timid of the group of pups. The foster left him with his mom so she can help build his confidence and not be bullied by his siblings. He is very submissive. Needs a family or person that is patient, kind and understands he does need socialization and lots of love. Ideally no young children given how timid he is. Bear – Male – 11.3 lbs – Black and White – Short hair, minimal shedding – One of the most outgoing pups of the litter! He is one of the few that came around super quickly and is super lovable, huggable and amazing all around. He LOVES to be held in your arms and rocked like a baby or just carried around. He would rather be with you than anywhere else. His next favorite thing is belly rubs. He will roll over in a heartbeat to get some belly rubs and stay there until you can’t anymore. He is a very relaxed pup and doesn’t run around too much. Chill. Mildly active home and all age children would be perfect. All of these puppies will make wonderful and loyal companions.
