Story
Friends is back! Most of the cast anyway 😊 Rachel, Monica, Ross and Chandler are ready to love their way into your lives. These sweet babies are lab mixes who were found on the street by a local animal control, dodging out of traffic and on the verge of getting run over. The shelter was full, so they contacted us to help. We knew we could not leave the babies out there, so we got them to safety in a foster home Our friends crew consist of 2 males and 2 females that we estimate were born around June 24th and are some of the gentlest, butt wiggling puppies. They are so excited when they’re around people. They just love everybody they meet, including children. They could run around the yard and play for as long as you’d let them, as long as they’re around their people. They love to be your shadow and get lots of pets. They’ll roll on their bellies in excitement, hoping you’ll rub their bellies. As of 9/24 they weigh between 10-15 lbs. While we do not know who their parents are, we believe they’ll be around 45-50 lbs once full grown. Their paws are not very big. They are working on house training They LOVE other dogs and have met inside and outside kitties and have no issues with them. Rachel is the runt of the litter, she is a little bottle rocket, always on the go and so full of energy and zoomies. She is one of the most outgoing of the litter. She LOVES her treats and is very food motivated. She is not picky at all about what she gets, as long as it’s food and love. Once she’s done playing, she will be the first to cuddle up to you, very sweet. Rachel would be best in a more active home. Monica is the 2nd smallest of the litter, and she is much quieter and gentler than Rachel is. She likes to sit back and watch the rest of the litter cause chaos. She is curious but when she tries something out, she makes sure her siblings tried it first, so she knows it’s safe and she won’t get in trouble for it. Very smart. Would do best in a medium active to less active home as she prefers to Netflix and chill more than anything else. Chandler is the 3rd smallest of the litter and the smallest male. He is very similar in personality to Monica – he is calmer and gentler than Ross and Rachel. He has the saddest eyes when he looks up at you, almost worried he’s done something wrong. Chandler likes to explore but he is more cautious about it and lets Ross go first. Another dog in the home would benefit Chandler as he can gain confidence from another doggy. A medium to low key home would be best for this sweet boy. Ross is the largest of the litter, and he is also the only black and tan one of the litter. He is next in line for most outgoing, right behind Rachel. Ross is VERY sweet and rambunctious and loves to play. He is super-duper friendly and will give sweet kisses for days. He is the bravest of the 4 and will try anything first, he has no shame in his game. He loves to explore and go on adventures. Ross would do best in a more active home. Story
Buddy is a beautiful, 50 lb black lab mix that was abandoned in a school – you read that right, someone took him inside a school, let him off his leash and walked away, never looking back. Unfortunately, Buddy was not microchipped and the person was never found. He is estimated to be 2 years old in December of 2024 – he is neutered, current on vaccinations, heart worm negative, microchipped, current on preventions and has a proheart 6 injection (good for 6 months). A good Samaritan that took Buddy in contacted us for help as they’ve had him for 9 months but despite them thinking they were doing him good; he has been tied up to a tree during this time. You will notice in some of his video, he is tied up to a tree. Unfortunately, down here in south Texas, some people view that as an acceptable way to keep a dog. We are very grateful they reached out for help for Buddy, as to no fault of his own he was abandoned to begin with. We have done meet and greets with other doggies with him and he seems to do well with other dogs, big and small! Of course, with any new animal, proper introductions and time play a large part of multiple dogs living happily together. Buddy has met kitties, and he does fine with them, he is curious of what they are. You can see in the video where a dog-friendly kitty was introduced to him and he was more happy to be off his chain and in a home, and he did not even care about the kitty. This beautiful boy LOVES his toys and would love a big yard (and another dog would be great too!) to play with and in. He is the happiest boy, and he loves his humans. The current home has children, and he LOVES them as you can see in the video all he wants to do is play with them. He does need some training to not jump, but this is a behavior that with training, can easily be corrected and stopped. This does go with being bored though – he just wants to get attention and unfortunately, he was getting very little of it. Buddy has so much love to give and is full of potential. He is full of energy, but who wouldn’t be if they were tied to a tree 24/7? With proper training, exercise and stimulation, Buddy will be the BEST dog. He is loyal and just wants a best friend and home to call his own. Please consider giving Buddy what he has not had in a very long time – a family to call his own and a home to sleep in. You can apply to adopt Buddy at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org Buddy is located in Texas and available for transport once adopted – transports leave to the northeast every 1-2 weeks

Story
Greggy was born around January 15th, 2024 and is approximately 9 months old and weighs about 45 lbs. He is considered mostly full grown and will not be getting much bigger, if at all. While he looks like a lab mix, based on his ears, body type, slick coat and stance, we strongly believe he is mixed with a viszle. Greggy is the HAPPIEST boy. No matter what life throws at him, he always greets you with lots of tail wags, lots of kisses and a smile on his face. He has the BEST smile. He is very carefree and all around happy. He doesn’t know that many people are overlooking him because of his color/size, but he is one of the best dogs you will ever meet. He loves everyone he meets, children and adults, men and women. Greggy is the definition of perfection. He’s smart, eager to learn, super playful, beyond loving, gentle, snuggly, entertaining, loyal and the ideal family dog. Greggy and his sister Gracie (who is adopted), came to us when a good Samaritan contacted us about them, wandering around the streets, hungry, thirsty and just wanting to be safe. Every shelter and rescue denied them, but thanks to a foster of ours, we were able to get them safe. Black dogs are not easy to adopt out, but we hope you will see past his color and see his amazing smile and beautiful personality. Within a short time, Greggy has learned a few commands, and with time, will definitely be able to master and learn more. He loves to please his humans, and he aims to please you. Greggy LOVES children, LOVES other dogs and has met kitties and doesn’t mind them. He is your typical lab demeanor. He would do perfect in a home with other animals or without, either works for him! He is not dominant, but he not submissive. Greggy is still working on house training, with consistency, will master it in no time. He loves to play ball in the yard and when he’s super energetic, he gets his zoomies. An ideal home for Greggy would be one that is medium active as he is not a high energy dog, but he loves his walks. He prefers to be around humans more than anything so as long as he with you, he will adapt to any scenario. Greggy will be your best friend and most loyal companion. Adoption fee includes: Neuter, current negative heart worm test, current parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella (kennel cough), rabies vaccination, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormer, microchip, and health certificate from a veterinarian giving him a clean bill of health. You can apply to adopt him at: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Story
Brisket is a beautiful white lab mix that is 9 months old (born around January 2024) and weighs 51 lbs. We believe she will get slightly bigger, but not much more. This beautiful honey eyed girl is as sweet as they come, despite her history. Brisket came to us when a good Samaritan took her in from their neighbor. Despite multiple animal control calls regarding their neighbors that hoarded animals, nothing was done, but they were willing to let Brisket go to them. The good Samaritan didn’t know what to do with her and contacted us for help. The foster describes Brisket below: She is VERY lovable and just desires to please you. She loves human attention and loves her pets. She is more energetic and needs a home that is more active. She LOVES adventures and loves to explore new things. She’s obsessed with her walks and would be wonderful as a hiking partner. Brisket says: TOY CHEST PLEASE! Brisket LOVES water. So, if you’re close to creeks, ocean, lakes, etc, she is for you. She is a swimmer! She’s great with recall. When she is on trails off leash, she listens, comes back and/or stays close. She does not stray far. Brisket has been introduced to cats and she doesn’t mind them. With proper introductions and time, we believe she would be able to happily live with them. Brisket is working on crate training and doing fabulous! She LOVES children. Given her energy and happiness, we knew she would. She is a very happy, well socialized girl and would do wonderful in a home with children. She does not jump on kids or adults. Brisket knows sit and will sit on command and she knows shake – She is VERY smart and will LOVE to learn more. Her quirk: She will speak up to you if you’re taking too long to feed her and/or if she wants to play. We think this could be a little husky haha. She only talks to you when she’s not happy. The perfect home for Brisket is one that is outdoorsy and full of adventure including hiking, swimming, walks, exploring, dog parks, and/or any of the above. Brisket is a WONDERFUL girl. Please give her a chance. Brisket is spayed, heart worm negative, current on vaccinations, current on preventions, microchipped, and will receive a health certificate from a veterinarian prior to adoption giving her a clean bill of health. If you’re interested in applying to adopt, please fill out an application at: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org
