Story
Bella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Bella is a gentle, sweet girl who loves to be with her people. Her leash manners are impeccable, and she loves a long, slow walk where she can sniff to her hearts desire. But she can also pick up the pace and go for a jog, if you so desire! Bella loves treats and takes them gently from your hand. Her favorite snack to keep her occupied is a bully stick! Bella still has some puppy energy and loves squeaky toys - she will even entertain herself with them on her own at times. Occasionally she gets bursts of puppy energy and then she loves to play tug-of-war with her toys and run around a little. Bella is go anywhere and everywhere pup that is well-behaved in public and always happy to tag along! Bella has been good meeting people and is potty trained. She is working on settling in her crate but sleeps well in it at night. Bella is working to grow her confidence and at this time prefers more relaxed dogs who aren't pushy or rambunctious in their greetings. In addition to her food motivation, she is responsive to a verbal "no" and redirection if she's looking for mischief. Bella is a super curious girl so she will thrive with lots of opportunities for mental stimulation and enrichment - she'd likely thrive on games that involve sniffing and other puzzles! A super sweet girl, Bella would love a home where she can lay around with her person (or people) and will even sleep in with you! ATTRIBUTES: Bella has done well interacting with other dogs. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Selvyn is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Sevyn is a lovely girl who is house-trained and knows how to sit and lay down. She is very good on a leash. She is great with other dogs and with cats! She loves to play tug of war and fetch. Sevyn is the perfect balance of fun energy, racing around the backyard with the resident pups, but then she'll chill on the couch or lay in bed with you. She is still working on her crate training, but she does not destroy anything when we leave the house not crated. She is also working on her "four on the floor" as she's very excited a little jumpy when her humans come home or she meets a new friendly face! It's all out of love and happiness (just look at that happy tongue)! -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Good with: Dogs Not tested with: Cats, kids House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Some Hey there I'm Louie and I'm here to charm my way into your heart and home! Let me tell you a little about myself. First things first, I'm a big fan of food and treats. I mean who isn';t right? Lucky for you, this makes me super easy to train! When it comes to walks, I'm a pretty easygoing guy. I don't pull much, and I love taking my time to sniff all the sniffs along the way. Ive got some basic training under my belt. Ask me to show you my sit, down, spin, and shake! Potty training? Nailed it! Just be sure to pay attention to my cues. I'm working on solidifying some more commands but I'm a quick learner, so I'll get there in no time. Fun fact: Im SO food motivated that when I see my food bowl, Ill actually RUN into my crate and will eat all my meals in my crate with the door closed. If you work from home, I may just be the pup for you. Im a great WFH buddy. If youve got a dog bed (or couch!) in your office, Ill just curl up and snooze while you work. I wont bother you during any meetings/calls. Naps are my second favorite thing, (after food of course!), but I've got plenty of zest for life. I love playing with other dogs, running, fetch, tug, and wrestling! I love going on long walks and being outside. Do you like being outdoorsy? Me too! Bonus, this drains my energy. After a long walk or run, I'm more than happy to cuddle up and snooze next to you on the couch. Despite my size, I can curl up into a tiny little croissant! Overall, I'm a leash-trained, crate-trained, playful, affectionate and eager-to- please pup. I get along great with other dogs. So, if youre looking for a goofy and loving companion to join your family, Im your guy! My foster guardian says: He is a handsome chap about 9 months old SMART as heck and wild about snacks. Although hes still of puppy age, he doesnt really have any of the usual puppy antics he doesnt chew on shoes and is fully house trained. If you want to get a peek into my day-to-day life, come check me out on my foster sisters Instagram @Vixie.and.Luna" Likes: Food, treats, sniffing, exploring the outdoors My ideal home: Im adaptable to new environments, I do well in the city and in the suburbs. A house would be best and bonus if theres a yard for me to play in! Story
Good with: Dogs Not tested with: Cats, kids House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Quiet/barks on occasion Hi, Im Jingle! Im a happy, playful, goofy, well trained guy whos always up for an adventure, but I also thrive on structured relaxation time. My tail never stops waggingIm just that joyful! Ive got my training down, and I know commands like sit, stay, off, heel, come, place, and leave it. Im house trained and crate trained too, so Im pretty easy to live with! I'm well mannered in public and love to go to markets, restaurants and stores! Pet stores are of course my favorite because of all of the smells and snacks. My hobbies include sunbathing, fetch, riding in the car, sitting on laps and going on a sniffari's. But my favorite activity is swimming! When I go to the dog beach, my foster mom makes me wear a life jacket, but I don't think I need it because I'm that good! I love people, especially when they give me lots of attention and affection. I will never turn down love! I get along well with other dogs, tooIm friendly and enjoy playing with them. My ideal forever home would be one that likes to be out and about and takes me places with them. I love exploring, people watching and getting my steps in. Also, a home that provides me with enrichment- I love kongs, puzzle toys and working for my food. While my foster mom works, I spend most of my day in "place" or my crate. This helps me know it's time to relax and stay calm. I usually spend this time napping, and chewing on a bone or kong. After work is when the fun starts and we go on long walks, an adventure or to the park. Ill be your loyal and loving companion. If youre looking for a fun, affectionate dog to join your family who will always make you laugh, Im your guy! My foster guardian says: Jingle is the biggest sweetheart and looks for all the Love and Attention he can receive." Likes: Fetch, water, attention, meal time My ideal home: I'd love a family that provides me with structure so that I know when it's time to play versus when its time to relax! Story
Java is a friendly, fashionable, and fun 4-year-old girlie. She’s athletic and loves playing fetch, walks in nature, chasing rabbits, and swimming; but most of all, she loves cuddles! She is smart and loves to play in the snow, and lay in the sun. Her favorite treats are chicken and quinoa, and cold coconut water on a hot day. Java loves warm soapy baths and is a perfect smedium size for any home. She would thrive with someone who enjoys the outdoors, or with a family who has a house and big backyard with children or other dogs to keep her active. I unfortunately work two jobs and will soon start a doctorate program, so I am unable to give her adequate time, but hoping the right family can love her up!

Story
Nina is a little girl who was born around Mid-May and the family who had their dog give birth, moved away from their country rental and left 10 puppies behind with no plan for food or water…..just an outdoor pen.  After several months of a neighbor feeding them, Critter Cavalry Rescue was called in to help take them from the pen and give them a chance to find homes.  This girl survived months of abandonment and starvation and has emerged with a few social hesitancies and insecurities, yet a smart mind and loving soul.  She is crate trained, housebroken, wonderful with children that are young, other dogs and also cats.  She is a champ when it comes to being there for you but socially skittish when there are loud noises, sudden movements from outside and thunderstorms.  Nina is coming in to a place that she is showing confidence and not scared of certain things.  She will get there soon, but will need someone that doesn’t require her to be perfect.  She truly is perfect in so many ways despite her really challenging early months as a litter that was abandoned.  Nine is a lab/Pit mix that is beautiful and 44 pounds and a full weight as an adult.   She is very sweet and loving and good with children,  dogs, but NO CATS…..she loves to chase.    She is housebroken and she is crate trained and is a true outdoor girl. She loves to sunbath on the back patio and she welcomes the opportunity to meet new people.  She is pretty good on a leash and good on car rides and great recall that usually works for her.  She is a companion puppy.  She is a Lab/Pit mix and has the heart and soul of a Golden Retriever.   If you are interested in giving this homeless girl a new life and family, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm
