Story
My family and I adopted Blizzard 3 years ago when he was 4 months old. Blizz is now almost 4 years old on 4/8/2025, he’s such a big baby and a very quiet chill boy. Blizz barely barks if he has to use the potty. He will be best suited for someone with a house with a backyard. As he was already trained when we got him to go out back. He loves a good walk as well at least an hour a day. My family loves Blizzard with all of our hearts but sadly my son is super allergic to him all of a sudden. It breaks our hearts to let him go but he deserves to be loved and treated very well and so does our son. The pet dander is just too much for my 6 year old, and that would leave Blizz out back or in the basement which just isn’t ok with us. Pick Blizzard if you want a quiet, well behaved, sweet little guy!

Story
Ella is 3 years old. I got her when she was 6 weeks old, my 8 year old picked her out, we got her when my father passed away. She is an excellent dog, she loves everyone, she is very mellow and laid back. She would make an amazing service dog for someone. She knows when I'm sad, she comforts me. She loves to run, chase squirrels and swim! She knows as soon as she sees her leash and she gets super excited, she loves being outdoors. She is the absolute best dog I have ever had. She is my life but unfortunately I had to move in with my sister until my place is ready and my sister's landlord is threatening eviction because she doesn't allow pets. I do not want her going to the pound, I want the chance to get her back if possible, but who ever fosters her she will steal their heart guaranteed.

Story
Carlos is a gentle, shy boy whose heart is yearning for a patient and loving home to help him blossom. Life at the shelter has been overwhelming for him, but behind his nervous exterior is a dog with so much potential to thrive in a calm, understanding environment. When Carlos first meets new people or faces unfamiliar situations, his initial reaction is to freeze or lay down, his ears tucked in uncertainty. But with gentle words, kind gestures, and some patience, Carlos begins to show his sweet and affectionate side. He’ll lean into you for comfort and even gently take treats from your hand. While Carlos is still learning about the world and how to walk on a leash, his willingness to trust is heartwarming. He has moments of bravery where he comes out of his shell, wagging his tail and seeking affection. Sitting quietly by your side, he’ll rest his head in your lap, soaking in the reassurance that he’s safe. Carlos's timid behavior likely stems from undersocialization, but with time, consistency, and encouragement, he has the potential to become a confident and happy companion. He may also do well with a calm, well-socialized dog who can show him the ropes.***CARLOS IS CURRENTLY IN SAN ANTONIO, TX, BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE.
