Story
Looking for a gorgeous blonde who is totally obsessed with you? Hoping to live in domestic bliss with a lady who is fascinated by everything you do? Interested in never peeing alone again?! Look no futher! Asia is a young shepherd mix who is sweet, stunningly beautiful, and would utterly be delighted to make you her number one priority asap. This girl is good as gold and sweet as honey, which is handy bc she is also golden honey colored and angel shaped. We love an aesthetic girlie. She came to ARNO from a rural shelter and hasn't quite experienced the life of luxury she deserves. But after taking a Hurricane Francine staycation, she got a taste of the housepet scene and her new ambition is definitely to be a stay-at-home trophy-dog.Asia is a super gentle bebe, and is a lil socially anxious in new situations. But she has been working on her self-confidence, and is committed to not to letting her anxiety hold her back from new adventures and meeting new people! Such an inspiration! She gets along with other pups and really likes to keep an eye on her person. If you enjoy being supervised from afar by an attractive lady, Asia is def your girl. While her education isn't quite complete, she already walks beautifully on leash, takes direction nicely, and wants very much to please. She's very zen for such a youngster.Asia's self-care journey would be enhanced by a doggy mentor, but she would also be great in any home where she's free to obsess over her human. And let's not forget that gold goes with everything, so obviously she'll look great in your house, in your car, on your arm, etc. Be the envy of all your friends and neighbors and snag this blondie asap!________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact info@petadoptionservices.org for more information about this pet. Current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Current on flea preventative and heartworm preventative.  This pet adoption has additional requirements and considerations due to breed and age: For a puppy under 6 months old, please note that we are looking for homes where someone is home frequently, or that arrangements have been made for someone to come home at least once during the day to allow the dog to go out for a potty break. Puppies should remain socialized to other dogs in their formative stages, so homes that can provide exposure to fully vaccinated and healthy well-behaved adult dogs is strongly preferred. A fenced yard is required due to this puppy's age and need for further vaccinations prior to being exposed to areas where stray dogs may have access. The breed of this puppy is not known, therefore a mix of what is considered restricted breeds by homeowners insurance, landlords, and military housing may be present, and may become obvious in appearance as the puppy matures into adulthood. If this is a concern, please consider a more mature dog where the appearance of the breed is more obvious.  It is the applicant's responsibility to know the terms of their homeowner's insurance prior to applying.  Due to unknown breeding, this puppy may be more or less than the estimated weight range listed here. Interested families should be open to a varied weight range, and consider both in terms of housing restrictions and personal preference. Landlords may have breed and weight restrictions. It is the responsibility of renters to have spoken with their landlord and reviewed their lease agreement and to have this information available for the application.  *Local adoptions (within 1 hour of New Orleans). We do NOT ship animals. Home check is required, therefore, we will be delivering this dog to your home. If you have read the information in the links provided above and think that this dog is a fit for your lifestyle and home, please completed a   Dog Adoption Application Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish). Story
Baby is an adorable "low rider" and a great companion dog. She loves people and is good with kids. She greets you with an immediate roll over to get a belly rub and would stay in that position all day if she could. Such a sweetheart, but she does not like to share that companionship with other dogs or cats, so she must be an only pet. If you don't plan to have more than one, please consider giving Baby her chance at a forever home. . To complete an adoption application Just click the "Adoption Application" link next to my photos above or Visit our website at www.onceuponatailrescue.com Don't forget to follow us on Facebook! If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there. Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
