Story
LETS PLAY! Pippa is a loving and playful six month old Labrador Retriever mix puppy who loves to make new friends, human or furry! This baby is a very affectionate and energetic pup who is always eager to play, and explore, but also enjoys some serious lap time. Pippa is the perfect companion for someone looking for an active dog to go on adventures with (she rides beautifully in the car). She would make a great running partner or addition to a family with active children. Pippa is a baby so she's just looking for someone to grow with and guide her as she grows into the best doggo she can be. This cutie is leash trained, house trained, crate trained, and knows the sit command. Currently she lives with four other large and small dogs, and young children in her foster home. If you're looking for a lively, friendly, and sweet companion, Pippa may be a fit for you. Give us a call if you are interested in meeting her. Included in Pippa's adoption fee: -She is already neutered, microchipped and has shots. -She comes with a new buckle collar, training collar, and 6 foot training leash. -You get two group training classes with our trainer or two private classes with us. -We provide an introduction session to help set her up in her new home, giving advice and guidance on crate training, leash walking, and how to establish a routine and structure in your household for your new baby. -Lifetime support from us via phone, and in person. Give us a call if you are interested in meeting Pippa. Ph: 502-509-9886 info@arielbullyrescue.com

Story
Nyla was adopted from the Humane Society shelter, where she had been a resident for over six months (arriving as a stray.) As a result, she came crate-trained and housebroken. Her crate and heartworm meds would go with her. Nyla is not good with other dogs, as she has a definite jealous streak and is very aggressive with our older, much larger dog. Nyla also chases cats and is interested in controlling anything that moves. She is very strong, both physically and of will. She will pull on a check lead if she has a mind until she is choking herself. Nyla also loves to cuddle. She is happiest in bed, having her belly rubbed. While Nyla was at the Humane Society, her regular caregiver noted she was quite affectionate. We both found that she gets the "zoomies," so a larger, definitely fenced yard is a requirement. We kept the name she had been assigned at the Humane Society. Nyla needs an experienced handler to adopt as she will need some work.

Story
Wilbur is a very sweet 4-year-old male adult dog who has been under the care of a foster for the past 2 weeks. He was turned into the shelter as a stray but found to be in very good condition and therefore probably was previously living in a good home as he is well trained. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks easy on a leash, and he tells you when he is hungry or wants to go for a walk by going to his dinner bowl or the front door. He is therefore a good dog for either an inexperienced or seasoned dog owner. He likes to play with toys, receive belly rubs or lay in the sun.

Story
Doc likes his stuffies! Doc is a beautiful 4 year old, 100+ish lb Labrador who is hanging out at the GRRAND kennel waiting for his forever family. He cannot go to a home with children, so he is looking for an adult only dog savvy home, and we believe at this time, he needs to be the only pet in the home. He demonstrates all of the usual Lab behaviors; he loves to fetch, swim, and climb on you and park his 100+ lbs body on your lap! He lights up when he sees someone familiar and gives such an awesome welcome. The volunteers at the kennel just love him to bits and can't say enough great things about him, and they are happy to report Doc has recently just gone to a foster home (2-20-25) and they say: "Doc is settling right in. He is a great dog. We will update more as we learn, but there is a pic of him sprawled out on his bed taking a nap after his walk and breakfast, so he seems pretty happy and comfortable in his foster home! Doc is a very sweet and gentle guy. He sure makes a great watch dog too because when Amazon delivered a package yesterday, he barked and the hair on his back stood up, but as soon as I opened the door, all Doc wanted to do was say hello and greet him! He is full of the typical Lab Velcro dog qualities like wanting to be near you and follow you around. He loves to bring you toys to show you how much he loves to interact and appease you. Doc is very calm in the house but definitely needs more leash training so he stops pulling so much, but he is eager to learn and is very smart. His family will need to have the time and patience tow work with him on the leash training." He is a big boy and we have him on a diet right now and he is getting lots of exercise. When he was at the kennel, he went swimming every day and some work on his leash manners as he pulls hard - he loves to lunge at squirrels when we go walking. He seems to like the more passive girl dogs than the boys, and we are working on him taking treats from our hand less enthusiastically! Please check back later for more info on Doc, but if you would like to meet this big teddy bear, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org   ##2000231##
