💛 Meet Tory — A Loving Lab Looking for Her Safe Place 💛 Tory is a 4-year-old Labrador Retriever with a heart full of love and a deep desire to be close to her people. At about 77 pounds, she’s a classic Lab—affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s by your side. Tory is incredibly people-focused and thrives on companionship. In her foster home, she is calm, affectionate, and comfortable with her family, including both adult men and children. Once she feels safe, she bonds deeply and shows just how sweet and gentle she truly is. 🐾 On Walks & Daily Life Tory does well on leash and responds nicely when the leash is taut—she’ll stop and match your pace. While she may pull occasionally, she’s easily redirected by hearing her name and settles quickly. She enjoys being out and about, especially when she knows her person is guiding her. 💙 A Note About New Men Tory can feel unsure when first meeting unfamiliar men. This uncertainty may show up as loud barking and backing away, which is rooted in fear and anxiety—not aggression. With calm guidance, patience, and reassurance, she settles and builds trust. Once she knows someone, she becomes affectionate and relaxed, just as she is with the men in her foster home. Because of this, Tory would do best with adopters who understand sensitive dogs and are willing to let her warm up at her own pace. 🐶 Other Important Notes • Loves people and wants to be near them • Does well with other dogs • No cats, please • Gentle, sensitive, and affectionate • Responds beautifully to calm, confident handling 🏡 Tory is eligible for the Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program, allowing her to continue adjusting in a home environment while ensuring the fit is right for everyone. Tory isn’t looking for perfection—she’s looking for patience, reassurance, and love. In return, she’ll offer unwavering loyalty, soft eyes full of trust, and the kind of companionship that makes a house feel like home. If you’re ready to give a sweet Lab the time and understanding she deserves, Tory is ready to meet you. 💛🐾 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. An approved application is required before we can schedule a meet & greet. Once approved, we’ll work with you to ensure it’s a great fit—and if it’s not, no worries! Story
Lucky is one of those dogs that makes you feel better, just having him around the house or by your side. Your heart is lighter, you smile more, and you find yourself looking on the bright side of things. He is a 6-year-old blind Labrador Retriever mix weighing about 60 lbs. He’s so smart, and his blindness really doesn’t affect him that much, as you’ll see when you read more about him. Lucky is mellow and just goes with the flow. Especially when the flow includes pets and cuddles for him, which he accepts graciously, without being pushy about it. He absolutely adores kids and is super friendly and gentle with everyone he meets. He’s a smart boy and knows commands like sit, lay down and shake. He is a really good boy around the house and doesn’t get into stuff that isn’t his. He can be left alone while his people are busy or away, and he sleeps all night in bed with people, in his dog bed or on the couch. His goofy side emerges when there might be food or treats available. Those are a couple of his favorite things, and he gets all excited at meal time or when his people get near where the treats are kept. He loves all toys, especially ones he can play tug with. He also likes to play “go find.” Lucky enjoys walks and does all right on the leash. Mostly, though, he’s lower energy and just wants to snuggle with you while you pet him. He gets along with other dogs, and bigger dogs are preferable to small ones. Because of his eyesight, Lucky should have a fenced yard. He’d do great with a dog sibling to show him the ropes. He can do stairs just fine, but ideally he’s in a home that doesn’t have an excessive amount of stairs. If you adopt Lucky, YOU are going to be the lucky one(s)! He’s truly a gem and so easy to love. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. Apply to adopt him at PawsitiveTailsKC.org, and meet him once you’re approved! 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

🎼🎤Do you recall- the most famous reindeer of all? 🦌 🔴👃 Rudolph is the mama dog to the reindeer litter! Her little reindeer are all looking for their new homes and now it is time for Rudolph to find her new home, too! Affectionately known as Rudie, she is a 50ish-pound, 4-year-old Black Labrador Retriever mix. She is very sweet and loves being around people. She is awesome with children and loves all people. Other dogs make Rudolph nervous, and she doesn’t like to join in their reindeer games. She prefers to be the only dog in the house, but may be able to live with an older or smaller dog who doesn’t want to play. Rudie is house-trained and crate-trained. She will walk on a leash, but she is not confident about it. She would benefit from more training and experience to build her confidence. Rudolph knows the commands "sit" and "wait." She is an absolute lover who wants to be where you are and loves chilling. Rudie's foster tells us she is pretty mellow and doesn’t need much exercise to be happy. If this sounds like a good match for your home, please apply to PawsitiveTailsKC.org to meet Rudolph. Her adoption fee is $175 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Now dash away and get that application in today! 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
🐱 🐈 🐱 Cat Friendly 🐱 🐈 🐱 Hi! My name is Cake. I think they named me Cake because they just knew I was gonna be one sweet boy! My foster parents sometimes call me Cakey and sometimes monster...but only when I gallop around the house in search of toys to play with! I'm all house-trained and crate-trained! I've learned some commands, such as "sit" and "down". I'm a smart boy. I have two foster siblings. I love to play with them. They are teaching me all about being a good boy and how to be a good family member! Sometimes I get really excited, I can hardly stand it! But once I get pets and kisses, I melt right away into a ball of cuddles. If you like to have your Cake and snuggle it too, then this guy is for you. His adoption fee is $175 and includes neutering, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccines, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. To meet him, apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
This is Charlie. He’s a bigger boy at about 90 pounds and 13.5 years old. He is neutered and taken to the vet in October 2025 who said he’s in excellent health for his age. He enjoys daily walks of 1-2 miles, but has some difficulty getting up and down stairs especially if they are not carpeted. His rabbies vaccine is current as well. His owners were family friends of ours and sadly in tragic car accident in October 2025. We took him in temporarily to help find him a home but are no longer able to care for him. Charlie is used to always being around people as his primary care givers were retired senior citizens who spent most of their time at home with Charlie so he does not do well when left at home alone for extended periods of time and unfortunately we are at work/school all day during the week. He loves to be on the floor sleeping by your side or by himself outside basking in the sunshine. Ideal sweetheart for someone who works from home and wants a low key lovable senior pup!

Story
Chase does well with our cat and I've seen him play well with small dogs. He does have big dog fear aggression. I asked previous owner if he had been bitten by a big dog or a wild animal, they said no. Chase has been a part of our family for 3.5 years and he isn't as reactive with big dogs as he used to be. That's to say, if he is a good distance he doesn't growl and lunge as much. Chase needs an experienced adopter with plenty of room to roam in his own private yard without big dogs nearby. I have talked with a couple of trainers and they think it's likely he can be trained out of his fear aggression. This would be from a knowledgeable owner or trained professional. He loves people and attention. I would caution that he isn't in a home with small children just because he hasn't lived with young children in our home or with original owner. He really is very sweet like Golden Retrievers are known for, he just has some special needs.
