Story
Valkyrie needs a new home. She was a stray for a while, we adopted her from the fort Riley shelter. She’s very very sweet, she loves playing with toys, balls, and stuffies. She enjoys couch snuggles and belly rubs. She’s about 65pounds of absolute love. She currently has a 2yo, 6yo and 11yo and loves them so much. She allows the tot to pull toys straight from her mouth and cuddle her like a pillow. She’s fully house and crate trained and has been working on “place” and “drop it”. Val is food motivated and eager. But she’s also food aggressive with dogs. She needs to be the only animal so she doesn’t feel the need to compete for meals or treats. I love her so so much. My sweet baby cow. But our older dog was injured and they just can’t live together. If you think she sounds like a fit for you please message me! Approximately 2years old, lab Doberman staffy mix, chipped, spayed, UTD on all vax; comes with crate, remainder of food and all her toys.

Story
Hi, I'm Jack! I'm an 12 year old (mostly) Lab, looking to become part of a family and provide them with lots of love and companionship. My foster says I have a great personality and easy-going nature. I'm hoping to find a family that will provide a safe fenced yard for me to run around in, but I also enjoy long walks and do well on a leash. My foster will tell you how quiet I am, and while I don't like vacuum cleaners or the sound of lawn mowers, I'm not scared during thunderstorms or 4th of July fireworks. I do have to see my 'dog'tor a lot, but I am a really good patient! She calls me a lemon, but I just don’t see the resemblance to the yellow fruit. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to a lot of stuff, so I have to get allergy meds and shots, and I eat a special dog food. No matter how cute I make myself look, I do not get any treats, because my foster and 'dog'tor say they will make me itchy. I'm a really good boy for getting my paws wiped when I come inside, because the grass can make my feet itchy when my allergies are bad. Sometimes my ears get really uncomfortable and I have to get them checked, cleaned and medicated. I have had some painful infections in the past, so my ears can be sensitive. I'm housebroken and good about signaling when I need to go outside, but it would be great to have my own doggie door so I can go outside on my own. I’m embarrassed to say that I do have accidents on occasion; my old bladder can’t always hold it until I can get outside, so hard floors and puppy pads are my friends. I know and follow a few commands and I get along fine with kids, cats and kittens, but I'm not much for getting along with other dogs. Most important, I'm calm and loving and I very much like to snuggle! Even though I need a bit of extra help, I have more than enough love to give to make upfor it. My foster or 'dog'tor can tell you more about what I need to support me in my golden years. I'm one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. I look forward to meeting you and showing you how much love and companionship I have to offer! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our application here: http://www.rchsks.org/our-animals/adopt-a-pet/adopting-a-dog. Story
If you are looking for a loyal friend, then pay attention to this wonderful Labrador Frank. Frank is already 2 years old, he is full of energy and ready to become part of your family. This dog is a real friend for children, other dogs and cats. He is very friendly and affectionate, always ready to play and cuddle. Labradors are known for their love of active games and long walks, and this dog is no exception. However, unfortunately, I do not always manage to provide him with enough time outside due to the lack of a fence and frequent travel. I have to work a lot and travel often, so I am looking for responsible and caring owners for Frank. Can you give him what I can’t? Then let's get to know each other better! If you are ready to take care of this wonderful Labrador, please contact me. I will be happy to discuss all the details and answer your questions.

Why do you need a dog? The list is long but here are a few important reasons. Concerned about a new recipe? I’ll be glad to taste test everything that comes out of the kitchen. After the beds are made, I’ll hop up and test the pillows and mattresses, making sure they are comfortable for all. I can also clean up the floor after the kids have had their meals. Think of the time you will save sweeping and moping. All I need in return, belly-rubs, neck scratches, good food and a loving family! I hope to see you soon!

Need a buddy to watch your back while you “borrow” dad’s tools? I’m barking at every bogey I see. Need someone to create a distraction so you can get the cute girl? Please, with these big brown eyes, I’m getting the girl, you’re the distraction...LOL!! Visit me soon so our adventures can begin!

Story
I’m a Lab. I can be trained to do amazing things from being a service dog, to hunting, to performing search and rescue. I also might run into the side of the garage at full speed when I get the zoomies. I love spending time with my people. I’ll join you on walks and car rides. I’ll let the kids dress me up and climb on me like a jungle gym. As long as we are together, I am happy. I’ll also roll in something stinky and look pathetic while you bathe me. You won’t be disappointed when you meet me. Make an appointment soon!
