Story
Hello there! My name is Poptart and I'm a sweet little girl looking for a family. My story started out as a sad one... A nice lady saw a man driving me and my siblings around in the back of his pick-up truck...and then, he dumped us all in the wilderness to fend for ourselves! My siblings and I were terrified. The woods were dark and scary. Luckily, the nice lady who saw us get dumped called Beagle Freedom Project right away. Staff at Freedom Fields rushed to find me, and after lots of time and patience, they rescued me and my family! When we first arrived to Freedom Fields, I was shaking in fear. After some loving and lots of treats, my tail has started wagging. I love being pet, and I love other dogs. I'm still pretty scared and getting used to being loved. Freedom Fields staff doesn't think anyone has ever pet or cuddled me before. I can't believe how much I've been missing! I'm looking for a patient family full of love to show me that not all humans will abandon me. Will you take me home? My ideal home has: An active lifestyle, lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* *Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Story
Hi! My name is Memphis and I'm sniffing around for my forever family! I've had a difficult past...the man who was supposed to be taking care of me and my siblings dumped us all alone in the woods to fend for ourselves. We were terrified and had no idea how we were going to survive. Luckily, a nice lady called BFP, who then came to save us. I'm safe now, and I'm starting to learn that humans are my friends. These nice people bring me treats and gentle touches instead of starving me and abandoning me. Once I trust someone, I love affection and will sit on their lap! I have lots of energy, and I love to run around, play, and make people laugh with my silly personality. If you are gentle and patient, please consider adopting me. All I need is a kind touch and lots of love. My ideal home has: An active lifestyle, adults only (or older children), lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. Story
Woof! I'm Iggy, and I'm a sweet lab/pittie boy that's looking for his forever home! My siblings and I were abandoned in the woods after our previous adopter left us to fend for ourselves. It was so scary, and we had to survive on scraps. Thankfully, a nice lady saw what happened to me, and they contacted Beagle Freedom Project for help! Now that I'm safe, I'm still getting used to all the love and care I've never had before, but I'm remarkably sweet despite what I've been through. Since being rescued, my tail has not stopped wagging! I even let the staff hold me. I'm hoping to find a patient, loving family to show me that not all humans are bad. Could that be you? My ideal home has: No other animals, adults only (I'm fearful of other pups and small children), lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. Story
Bro is a stunning, floppy-eared boy who loves everyone he meets! Outgoing and playful, Bro adores both people and dogs. At around 2 years old and 50 lbs, he’s still a playful puppy at heart, making him perfect for someone looking for a fun-loving dog who’s eager to learn.Bro recently enjoyed a sleepover with a foster family and did wonderfully in their home—no accidents! He also met their cats and seemed unbothered by them. While he might try to play with a cat, he doesn’t show any signs of prey drive. Bro is energetic and social, ready to be a loyal, playful companion for his new family.
