Story
We have a 2 year old Doberman that show aggression towards the puppy. She has nipped at the puppy twice and has major jealousy issues. It’s unfortunately putting a lot of stress on the household, so we are trying to solve this as soon as we can. She is the sweetest puppy and rarely barks/whines during the night. The lady I got her from had one shot taken care of, then she will be due for 3 more, but that’s it!

Story
Hi! My name is Sonny and I am looking for a permanent home. I would like to have a dog companion or a big family who can play with me as I get bored easily. I am a three year old lab mix with beautiful brown eyes and a big heart. My current mom works too much and isn't able to give me enough stimulation and attention to keep me out of trouble. When I'm left home alone for too long, I tend to get into trash cans, closets, etc. I don't tear up furniture, chew up my bed, and have not been aggressive with people or other dogs. I don't trust strangers very much and will bark at them for a few minutes, but once they offer me a toy or attention I warm right up. I love to play fetch with my toys. I might be 70lbs, but I like to think I'm a lap dog. I will love you sooo much and want to be with you as much as I can. I have no health concerns or special conditions. If adopted, I come with lots of toys, my own bed, water/food bowls, and leash/collar. Will you be my new family?

Story
Meet Duke! Duke came to us all the way from a kill shelter in Florida, where he was euth-listed due to his age and blindness. After making the long trip, he has settled in well at the little red barn where he is proving to be quite the sweetheart. Duke loves to walk around the barn and absolutely LOVES his toys. He carries them everywhere and will play for hours. Due to the fact that he's blind and loves toys, we think maybe a home with older kids would be best just because he does sometimes accidentally nip a hand when he's trying to grab his toy. Same with kisses, sometimes he accidentally misses but he is all sweetness with all people. Despite being blind, he gets around really well and doesn't let it stop him from being a great dog! So far, we think Duke might do best as an only-pet. The other dogs spook him and he does much better on his own. He is an older guy who would prefer a calm house where he can mosey around the rest of his days.

Story
Meet Kona! This sweet senior girl has been bounced from rescue to rescue, due to issues that had nothing to do with her. When we finally took her in, we learned that she is wonderful! She is very gentle and silly and even has zoomies despite being an older gal. She's great with people but prefers to be the only pup in a home to soak up all the love to herself as she had a tough life before coming to us. Cuddling next to her humans is her favorite activity, as well as zooming around the backyard and playing with stuffies. She is the perfect mix of laid back and lively, a happy old girl looking for her Furever home. Kona does have a history of seizures, however her meds have been keeping her stable and healthy and happy!

Story
Meet Eclipse! This sweet girl came to us from a rural shelter in Oklahoma where she was dumped after being attacked by another dog. She has healed from her physical wounds, but her heart is still healing. She is very cuddly and would love a home to show her kindness and safety. Eclipse is potty trained and prefers calm dogs or no other dogs due to her past trauma of being attacked. She would also prefer a no-cat home.

Story
Meet Lance! (Who we affectionately call lumpy Lance) This senior old guy was a frequent flyer at the shelter as a stray until he was finally found dumped at our front gates and never reclaimed. He is an older guy whose body is covered with fatty lumps and bumps, but they don’t slow him down one bit! Lance is full of life and has so much love to give. He’s definitely part hound and will talk your ear off if you stop to have a conversation with him (or as his fosters say, he gives you his full “Lance Report”!) Lance is great with all people and dogs, he’s just happy to be here. He is very silly with his people and has such a sweet disposition. He is looking for a home to spend the best years of his life in!
