Story
Dragonfly is a 3-year-old, 45-pound bundle of resilience and joy. Just two months ago, he was found stumbling down the street, a heartbreaking picture of neglect. Severely emaciated, dehydrated, and unable to see, he was in desperate need of help. Thankfully, a kindhearted Good Samaritan brought him to our rescue on a Saturday, and that’s when his incredible journey began.Through hand-feeding, subcutaneous fluids, and lots of love, Dragonfly slowly started to recover. At first, he needed to be carried outside for potty breaks and back to bed to rest, but he never gave up. With the help of an amazing foster family, he gained weight, strength, and—amazingly—his eyesight!Today, Dragonfly is thriving. He loves running and playing with his doggie friends at the rescue, soaking up every ounce of joy that life has to offer. This sweet boy has endured so much, but his future is brighter than ever. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
