Story
DJ has just the cutest white muzzle! This happy go-lucky guy is hopeful that his new family will be applying for him soon. DJ is an energetic 10 year old Labrador Retriever mix that loves to zoom around and chase toys. Since he has quite a bit of energy, he will require a fenced in yard in his forever home. DJ can be a bit picky with his canine friends and will also need a kitty free home. DJ would be absolutely thrilled if he could be one and only furbaby in your life. He has always dreamed of being an only child! DJ is a member of our FIDO prison program. FIDO dogs are obedience trained and socialized by the prison inmates. The $250 adoption fee covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, de-worming, microchip, and heart worm test (and current with monthly preventative). They are house trained, crate trained, and know their 5 basic commands. If interested in meeting a FIDO dog, please fill out an application online at: inapl.org/adoption-application. Once it`s processed, a member of our team will be contact with you.DJLabrador Retriever mixMaleDOB: 2/6/2013Weight: 54 lbs.Heartworm Negative

Tuck`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Passed his cat test!Kids - Best suited for a home with grown-ups onlyMeet Tuck, a sweet and gentle two-year-old pup with a beautiful, Reese`s cup-colored coat that makes him as unique as he is adorable. Tuck is looking for a fresh start and a patient, loving home where he can feel safe and grow in confidence.Tuck’s past has made him a little shy and nervous, especially in new environments and around unfamiliar people. Loud noises, sudden movements, and crowded spaces can overwhelm him, so he’ll need a calm, predictable home where he can adjust at his own pace. His lack of confidence may take time to overcome, and his fearful behaviors will require patience and understanding during his lifelong adjustment process.Tuck would thrive in a quiet home with only adults, where he can be gently introduced to new people and experiences. He’s lived with other dogs before but needs slow introductions to any new canine friends. With kindness, patience, and a calm environment, Tuck has the potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion. He’s a sweet boy with so much heart, just waiting for the right person to give him the space and time he needs. If you’re ready to help Tuck become the confident, happy dog he deserves to be, come meet him today. This gentle soul is worth the wait, and with your love, he can truly thrive.-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. *Marley is one of our Home for the Holidays featured pets! His adoption fee is sponsored, and he also comes with a customized training package from Paws & Play Dog Resort & Training Center!*Marley`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - NoKids - Yes, 14+Marley, a sweet senior boy, has been cherished his entire life. His family loved him dearly, but due to unfortunate circumstances, they were displaced and had to make the heartbreaking decision to bring him to the shelter. Now, Marley is feeling stressed in this unfamiliar environment and is hoping to find a new home as soon as possible.Don’t let his age fool you—Marley may be an older gentleman, but he’s still a spry guy who lives for his daily walkies! A good stroll is the way to his heart, and afterward, he’s all about soaking up some sunshine or enjoying belly rubs (his favorite!).Marley is housebroken, crate-trained, and incredibly smart. He knows sit, come, down, paw, and stay. He’s also a fan of beef treats and will happily show off his tricks for a snack. While he’s an easygoing guy, he does have a knack for escape artistry, so a secure yard and attentive supervision are essential.Marley has been through a lot of changes recently—going from a family he loved for years, to this strange new shelter, and eventually to a new home. It’s a lot for any dog, so he’ll need a little extra time and patience to settle in and feel secure. Once he adjusts, his loyal and loving personality will shine.Marley would thrive in a calm, loving home with kids aged 14 and up. Cats aren’t his cup of tea, but he’s open to meeting other dogs to see if they’re a good match. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share walks, sunshine, and love, Marley is ready to make your life brighter. Come meet him today and give this special boy the home he’s been waiting for!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Story
Tebow`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - YesKids - YesTebow is a playful and affectionate pup who`s ready for a fresh start! This energetic dog is looking for a patient, active home where he can work on his manners and thrive. Tebow is crate-trained, potty-trained, and non-destructive, but he does have some quirks—he’s a bit of a leash puller and has occasionally managed to slip his leash and take off, needing a bit of a chase to catch him. With a secure harness and some continued training, Tebow will be on his best behavior in no time.Tebow loves to cuddle, enjoys playing with other dogs (he’s never had any issues at doggy playdates), and gets along well with kids, including a pair of 7-year-olds and a 16-year-old. His puppyish energy still shows in his occasional mouthiness and leash biting, but he`s made great progress and has a strong desire to learn. He also knows several commands, including sit, lay, shake, drop it, and off. While Tebow isn’t a fan of car rides, rain, or baths (he`ll try to escape if given the chance), he’s a good boy with the right guidance. He even did well meeting a cat, even after a little swat. With patience and structure, Tebow will make an excellent companion for an active family who can continue his training and offer him the love he craves.-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas.
