Christine has such beautiful and unique coloring and markings. Her fluffy body is covered with the softest black and white fur with hints of brown mixed in. While most of her body is covered in black fur, she has a small white patch of fur on her backend, a white tipped tail, four white legs, and four white paws. Her ears and head are black and brown with a white muzzle. Going down the middle of her face is a beautiful white stripe that is sprinkled with small black freckles. She has beautiful eyes and judging by the way she looks at us…we think she knows it. Oh, that face will just melt your heart. Christine is a very independent little girl. She has no problem playing with soft toys on her own or curling up by herself for a little nap. Sometimes she even finds a little hiding spot to sneak away for her little naps. Christine is very social with humans as well as her siblings. When a human walks into the room - she is one of the first puppies to run over to meet them. She is always up for any play time that she can get with humans but most of all, she loves to be picked up and cuddled by humans who will give her a good belly rub. She is also very sociable with her siblings. She lives to run and chase her siblings all around the Adoption Center and okay tug-of-war games with toys that make scrunchy sounds. She is a true athlete when it comes to those tug-of-war games! When she is all tuckered out, her favorite place to sleep is on the floor, next to a human, so she can gently rest her head on their leg and quickly fall asleep. The meaning behind Benvolio’s name is “good-will, well-wisher, peacemaker, and bringing people together.” What a perfect name for this little pup because he is nothing but love and peace. Benvolio loves humans! As soon as one walks into a room his tail starts wagging and he heads over to greet them. All Benvolio wants to do is be picked up and held while he sleeps. Benvolio will walk up to a human and literally start climbing up their leg while begging to be picked up. And by begging …we mean “puppy crying”.
