Story
We adopted Daisy from the Humane society when she was 5 mos old, she's 4 yr old now. She's had some anxiety since day one and we don't crate her because of it. She has learned to behave very well loose in the house, even for long periods of time. She loves to watch out the window "keeping guard" and barks at anyone approaching the house. While she is a good guard dog, she's never shown any aggression. She has done well with other dogs once she knows them. We have two small dogs that she plays with and is very gentle. The only thing dangerous about her is her tail. When she's happy, look out! She's very loving and would be a lap dog if allowed. My husband was working/living in another state when we got her and now that he's home we've discovered that his allergies can't handle her shedding. She would really enjoy a home with a large yard or property where she can run. She's a house dog but really enjoys running and playing outside.

Story
Coco is a really good dog, very smart and loving. Tell him to sit, shake, lay down, he does. As he is laying on floor I put a dog treat 3 ft from him and tell him "you stay" he does until you tell him "ok go get it". I went out of town for 2 days, person could not show up to let him out. He held it in for 2 days until I got home. He is very loving and affectionate, only downfall others may have of him is he slept with me in my bed at night. My son has 2 Great Danes, so he does get along with other dogs.

Hazel Grace was adopted as a young puppy but sadly, if problems are not corrected appropriately in the beginning stages.. Small problems can escalate. Hazel Grace is scared of strangers and possessive of her home.. For this reason, she would only be successful in a home with no children (under 18 years of age) and no other pets in the home. Once Hazel Grace knows you though.. she is the sweetest and most loving dog… and we will continue to work with her as she awaits a family willing to give her a chance. Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Hope pulls animals on their last day of life from animal control facilities that still use the inhumane gas chamber to put to death homeless pets.
