Jayce is ready for a life of porch-sitting and sweet, lazy morning snuggles in bed. Jayce is a dog people fall in love with, and fall in love hard. He has the personality of an old friend- funny, familiar and easy to spend hours with. Jayce has a very expressive face that makes him easy to connect with, he’s one of those dogs that just immediately feels like a member of the family. His foster mom says one of his best qualities is how devoted to his people, and we say one of his best qualities is how devoted his people become to him. He’s so incredibly engaged and present with his humans, so lovable and full of personality. Jayce embodies love and loyalty, if you’re looking for a best friend, he’s your guy. Jayce is the ultimate companion dog, he’s affectionate with his family, communicative and expressive, funny and silly, an avid fetch player and such a smart boy. We believe Jayce is a Labrador, American Pit Bull Terrier mix, but he is a rescue, so his exact age and breed cannot be guaranteed. He currently tips the scales at a soft and snuggly 80 pounds, fully grown at an estimated 3 years old. Despite how loving he is with his people, Jayce promises to never pull your arm off looking for love from a stranger. He’s very “human” about his interpersonal relationships, he knows how weird it would be for a human to kiss their neighbor on the mouth, so he acts accordingly. Jayce will take a moment to get to know you before professing his love, but… psst- don’t tell him we told you this- Jayce’s heart is easily won with Pupperoni, and gentle soft voices. He bonds with his people through training and leash walking as well, making further training not only enjoyable and practically rewarding, but incredibly emotionally rewarding too. With other dogs, Jayce is similarly “human” in his interactions. He prefers to get to know them a bit before becoming his silliest and most playful self. In his foster home, he enjoys the company of two larger male dogs, he gets along well with them and even snuggles with them on the couch. Jayce is also an incredibly intelligent dog. He knows how to auto-sit for treats, he knows how to “puppy-dog-eye” his way into all night snuggles. He responds so well to positive reinforcement, and we believe you could do just about anything with this dog because of it. Want a “hobby dog” to teach off-leash skills, agility or party tricks? Jayce would love to learn, and he’ll love you all the more for it. Unlike most highly-trainable dogs, Jayce’s intellect does not come with high energy. He has a wonderfully balanced energy that allows him to be content just calmly hanging out. Jayce can be very lively and playful at times but also a calm cuddle bug that just wants to lay on the couch with you watching movies all day. He loves being near his people and his foster parents occasionally let him sleep in bed with them. On the nights that he does get to sleep with them, he likes to snuggle right up with you, rest his head on your pillow and look up at you until he falls asleep. Jayce loves to be outdoors as well. If you find yourself in the garage tinkering often, Jayce would love to watch you work. Jayce is still working on his leash manners, but with polishing and practice, he would make an excellent hiking or walking companion. He has the confidence for the most treacherous hikes, a vital skill for a hiking companion, and he never tires of being outdoors. A testament to Jayce’s confidence: fireworks don’t faze him! His foster dad was so impressed with us that he let us know after their Fourth of July together. He loves water too, he gets so excited for the doggy pool. We could see this handsome fella enjoying lake house life, or long weekend campouts on the river. Jayce is an easy to love dog. He has great house manners, his foster reports that he’s potty trained, and he’s very respectful of furniture. He is a bit more introverted than most, and would love to live in a quiet home. Jayce’s ideal pawrents are child-free, and lead a quiet and simple life, with gratitude for the small moments of joy, like belly-rub-time and slow walks around the neighborhood. We believe Jayce would prefer a home in a suburban or rural area, a house over an apartment. Jayce would be happiest in a home with no kitties, and no pushy, persistently playful dogs. Jayce could live with mellow dogs that understand his balanced energy level. This infectiously happy guy is named Mack! Mack is the life of the party- a friend to all, and a force of positivity and hilarity. He’s a great adventure dog, a snugglebug, kid-friendly, and dog-friendly! We think Mack is a Lab, Pittie mix, just under two years old. He is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses! Mack has a childlike wonder for the world, and it feels like kids see that in him. He’s best friends with a two year old and a four year old, and watching them interact is truly heartwarming. Mack was born to be a family dog, and he’s so ready to meet his forever family. Mack is a total socialite, he does great with humans in any environment. His foster family regularly takes him out and about, and he does really well in public! He’s easy in the car, great on leash, and friendly with everyone that he meets- a total “go anywhere dog.” Mack is currently fostered in a home with two other dogs, he gets along well with both! Mack is small dog friendly, too. Mack’s playstyle is very “life of the party,” so we think he would do best in a home with another rambunctious player, that won’t mind a game of chase, or romping around the yard together. Mack’s energy level generally can be described as medium to high energy, he has an exuberance for life and a natural optimism that will fill even your gloomiest days with laughter and excitement. Mack also enjoys his playtime with us humans, he loves to play with toys, and he’s a great fetch player! With all of that love for life, Mack also has a great ability to learn. He knows a handful of commands already, and he’s very food motivated. He will be an enjoyable and rewarding dog to train further! Mack’s foster family brags that this smart boy is already crate and potty trained, he picked it up quickly. He had great house manners too! He loves treats, and adores his Kong. Mack is a fun-loving guy, but he knows when to chill too. He absolutely loves a good couch snuggle, and he soaks up attention with so much gratitude. This gorgeous boy is Bennet! Great with other dogs, so people-friendly, cat tolerant and so much fun to be around. He’s also stunning- with a rich, glossy, deep black coat, white eyeliner and the cutest little white socks. We estimate that Bennet is about 3 years old and may be a Lab, Pit Bull mix. Bennet is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. He weighs in around 67 lbs and is the perfect size for couch snuggles, and neighborhood walks! Bennet did amazing with other dogs here at the rescue, he quickly became best friends with another rescue dog named Maggie. They were quick to share little doggy kisses, happy hops, and big romps. They played chase, and spent some time in the pool together. So cute! Bennet is currently fostered in a home with another dog, who he gets along well with. Our behavior team cat tested Bennet, he did well meeting our house cat Tom. He was interested in Tom, until Tom hopped out of reach. Bennet quickly shifted his attention back to his people, we believe Bennet is cat tolerant and could live with dog savvy kitties. Bennet does well riding in the car. He can be coaxed into loading up with a few treats. He rides in the backseat with his foster mom, he’s an excellent copilot, doesn’t roam or show signs of anxiety or car sickness. Bennett is also fairly easy on leash, he’s still learning, but he’s catching on quickly. Bennett will be an amazing dog to take out and about, he’s so social and will appreciate meeting new friends, and sniffing new scents! Bennet has excellent house manners already. In his foster home, Bennet matches energy very well. If you’re calmly hanging out on the couch, Bennet will snuggle up with you and enjoy a peaceful evening in front of the tv. If you get rowdy and playful with Bennet, he will quickly return the favor and get excited with you. Bennet is so much fun to be around. His foster mom reports that his favorite toy is a stuffed lion! Bennet is a medium energy dog who will appreciate daily walks or outdoor exercise time to keep him happy and healthy. Bennet would do well in a home with other dogs, or any animal lovers home. While he hasn’t been kid-tested yet, we do believe he would do well with children based on his demeanor and temperament. Bennet is a happy-go-lucky go-with-the-flow kind of guy that could do well in just about any home- as long as it’s a forever home. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! That sweet, squishable face belongs to Curly, a calm, loving, easy-going little big guy with a huge heart and the cutest curly tail. So lovey, people friendly, good with dogs and cats, a great companion dog!! Curly is around 1 year old, and we suspect him to be a hound mix of some sort. He has a looooong body, short legs with feet that splay out and the cutest underbite with yellow golden eyes. Curly weighs in around 75 pounds right now, tiny but beefy with his short little legs! A “small” big dog, the perfect size for couch snuggles. Watch Curly in action here: Curly is a charmer to his core, he’s so so loving and people-friendly, he has the cutest little underbite and he’s so engaging with humans. Curly opens up quickly with new humans, he will ask just about anyone for belly rubs. I just know that it will be “love at first sight” for him the moment he meets his forever family. He’s super affectionate, but not overly pushy about it, and doesn’t jump up for pets. He’s such a good boy! Curly has made friends with kids aged 3-13. He’s gentle, sweet and patient with all of them! See Curly interact with kids for yourself in his video. Curly did well meeting other dogs here at the rescue, and currently lives in a foster home with multiple other dogs. He gets along well with all that he meets, and he’s loving and sweet with other dogs. Curly is all about sweet puppy kisses, and going with the flow. Curly plays with his foster doggy-sister every day and would likely do well in a home with another moderately playful dog to keep him company. Here at the rescue, Curly was cat tested by our behavior team. He did really well meeting our house cat Tom, he was unfazed by him and quickly shifted his focus back to his people. Our behavior team recommends Curly for a home with dog-savvy cats! Curly does well in the car if its one he can climb into. He has great house manners, and doesn’t have accidents indoors in his foster home. Curly is easy on leash and enjoys short walks in the park. He will occasionally stop in the middle of the track and flop over for belly rubs from strangers. Curly would love a couch to curl up on. This sweet boy will make such a wonderful companion, he’s an easy-going boy, and sooo loving. Curly will bring so much joy into your life. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.  Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way.
