Story
Gauge was rescued from a home where he was going to be put down. He is great with children. He is house broken but can tend to have accidents once in a while. Gauge is terrified of loud bangs, fireworks, gunfire, etc. gauge does experience anxiety. He sleeps through the night. We took on another dog who is aggressive towards him. This was a recent issue since we received the other dog over a year ago. The decision was made to find gauge a new home where he can be loved and have plenty of time outside. He is desperate for more activity. I am worried one of my children will get in the middle of a scuffle and get hurt. He is a loyal dog and does not attempt to run away.

Story
Bella is a beautiful dog that loves to chew on bones and lounge around the house. Does not do great with car rides, but tolerates them. Loves to go on walks and smell everything. Her favorite place to sleep is under the bed. My husband and I rescued her when she was 1 years old. It was just the two of us with two other dogs and she transitioned great. Since then we had a kid and she did great up until he was able to play with her. She definitely needs her space and doesn’t like kids in her face. She is a protective around others and food. We have thought her a few things to help with this. We believe she would thrive in an environment that didn’t have kids younger than 10 and all the attention is on her.

She was rescued just in time and is the sweetest girl! She loves other dogs and is loving and gentle with people. MEET HOWIE! This happy, gentle lab/pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 5 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape - he had major skin issues/hair loss and had clearly been neglected, but now he looks so much better! He's appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. He's a big snuggler and will want to share your bed. He loves going for walks and other outings. He is good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home. Howie currently needs a foster or forever home. Please email for an application.

HI - I'M JOHNNY, a 10-year-old lab mix waiting for a foster or forever home. Do you need a best friend? Because I'm looking for one! My ideal adopter is a single person who wants a companion, a pal for hanging out, walks, hikes, watching TV, car rides, napping. I love to play fetch, and I listen to basic commands. I tend to bond to one person who will be my soulmate. I love scratches and affection! I get bored if left alone too long, so best not to leave me out in the backyard for hours. I get along with some dogs, but I really want to be the top dog in the home with one person by my side. I'm still in great health and I'm basically looking for my forever pal to go for walks, hikes or simply watch TV. I weigh about 70 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? HI - I'M RUMBA! I'm a lovable and happy 3-year-old, 56 pound husky-lab mix, currently in a foster home. I'm such a sweet boy and so full of joy! I'm just waiting for my forever home and whomever finds me will be very lucky! I've waited too long already and who knows why since I'm super cute, loving and an all-around great dog. A little about me: I love being near my person or people and would be happiest in a home where you are with me more often than not. I am fine being home alone for several hours, though - but I do get lonely! I am not destructive and do not need to be crated while home alone. I'm also very mellow in the house and I simply love to lounge around with my person or people. I'm a big couch potato and a big cuddler! I'm also great with kids and would do well in a family with kids, even young ones. I'm also very dog friendly and while I was in California (I was rescued from a shelter there), I spent my days at a doggy daycare, romping with my many friends. I do great meeting other dogs when not on a leash, and I'm a great playmate! On a leash I can be a bit reactive, which is a common thing, so if possible I'd love my own big backyard, too. But I still need exercise because I'm a young boy and will welcome the chance to go for walks and hikes. I would do great in a home with another dog, or fine as an only dog, too. MEET HOLT! Holt is an almost 2-year-old Black Lab mix (possibly part pit), in need of a foster or forever home. He is a good, happy boy who is full of life, and still a puppy at heart. He is dog friendly, people friendly and affectionate! He is loyal, gentle and smart! While he loves companionship, he also can be independent and dignified. Holt needs an active person or people as he's quite athletic and will benefit from regular exercise, like walks, hikes or runs. He pulls a bit on a leash but is easily corrected.
