***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels ASHE is a happy, active, ~40-lb, 7 - 9 month old Border Collie / Labrador puppy who loves everyone and is good with dogs. He was lucky to be in a foster home to recover from neuter surgery so we learned more about him. ASHE does well with other dogs in the home and on walks. He is food-motivated and loves any treat/chew that he is given. ASHE is crate-trained and sleeps through the night and potties on command when we take him out. He loves cuddling with his people. ASHE is quiet and calm while riding in cars. ASHE will likely need someone to show him all good behaviors and be consistent with his training. He pulls on the leash at the beginning of a walk, but seems to understand loose-leash walking by the end of the walk. ASHE is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines for his forever family. Kelley was found camping out at an abandoned hospital with her "boyfriend" and around 40 other dogs. When the demolition crew noticed she was pregnant, they compassionately set aside a safe area for her to give birth. Tragically, before rescue crews could reach her, a severe storm hit Houston, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of all but one of her puppies. Despite this trauma, Kelley remains a sweet and loving soul. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly to those who show her kindness. Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve.
