Story
Are you looking for a young dog or older puppy that's already trained? Then look no further because I am your guy! Hi! I'm Toffee Chip. I'm a 1 1/2-year-old lab mix weighing in at 51 pounds. I'm neutered and potty trained, and I sleep in my crate all night. But I don't need to be crated because I'm so well-behaved.   I have a sweet, loving, and cuddly personality. I know some basic commands, am obedient, and I want to please. I'm what you would call a Velcro dog because I LOVE my people and want to be with them.   I love playing with other dogs, chewing bones/toys, taking walks, playing catch, and going with you to run errands. My Foster mom says I'm FULL of personality!   I'm shy around strangers, so Mom says I have a touch of stranger danger. However, once I spend time with you, I settle right down. I like cats a little TOO much, so no cats for me; Oh, and I also chase squirrels!  Because I am a silly, clumsy, but solid puppy, I'm a little too rough for small children. Put in your application TODAY and come and meet me!     Check out my photo portfolio to see lots more photos of my handsome face: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBECHr If you're interested in adopting me, Toffee Chip, please complete an online adoption application that you can fill out and submit online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms.  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
My adoption fee is sponsored by a volunteer who loves me!   Crane is a sweet, energetic, 7-year-old, lab mix with his adoption fee sponsored! This handsome guy is housebroken and crate-trained. When taking a stroll on a leash, Crane can be excitable when meeting other dogs, and so, romping around in a fenced-in yard instead of in a dog park or doggy daycare is best for him.   Crane greets you with his warm brown eyes and floppy ears. This peppy pup loves people and would be a great addition to an active family that shares bunches of love, exercise, and stimulation. Young children are not the best fit for this lively fella.       For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.          January 15, 2025, 8:10 pm

Story
Meet Hops, a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old, 53-pound Lab/Pittie mix who is ready to find his forever home! Hops adores people, especially women, but he’s a bit shy when meeting new faces, so he’ll need slow introductions to feel comfortable. Once he gets to know you, he’s an absolute joy and will shower you with love and loyalty. Hops gets especially excited when you come home, greeting you with enthusiasm at the door, though his enthusiasm and size won't work with small children. He’s also fully potty and crate-trained, and he listens well to commands like sit, down, and stay. While he gets along with his foster home's cat (he’s been trained to ignore them), a cat-free home would be ideal for him. Hops is an outdoor enthusiast who loves walks with just you and him and running freely in a fenced yard. So a fenced yard is a must. He prefers meeting new dogs off-leash and would thrive in a space where he can enjoy his favorite activity of chasing balls. When he’s in a calm, familiar setting, Hops is a laid-back, intuitive companion who knows just when to cuddle and when to give you space. Hops is ready to bring his loyal, loving nature into the right home. If you're looking for a well-behaved, sweet dog who enjoys both playtime and snuggling, Hops could be the perfect match for you!   * Additional pictures can be viewed on:  https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAWaVx     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Introducing Frosty, the lovable and handsome Labrador Retriever mix, who is sure to bring joy and warmth to your life! This sweet senior boy weighs 44 lbs, is 8 years young, fully housebroken and is currently being crate trained under the guidance of a professional trainer. He’s a non-destructive pup when left alone, making him a perfect addition to any home. Frosty’s absolute favorite activity? Walks! He adores them more than food or treats and even his beloved car rides—taking him for a stroll is the quickest way to bond with this affectionate pup. He walks beautifully on a leash and is always eager to explore the great outdoors.  Frosty thrives on love and attention, and his playful personality shines through when he nudges your hand with his nose, asking for gentle pets. He absolutely loves belly rubs and will happily soak up all the affection you can give him. This intelligent boy is eager to learn, already knowing how to sit and shake, and he’s quickly mastering new commands like "go lay down." With his calm demeanor, he enjoys low-energy days filled with leisurely walks—ideally once or twice a day—followed by cozy naps.  While Frosty is an all-around fantastic dog, he would do best as the only pet in the household. After an evaluation by a trainer, it was determined that he prefers not to share his space with other dogs. Additionally, he has shown some reactivity toward men during walks, but rest assured he’s making great progress with training. Frosty is generally quiet, rarely barking except when left alone, and while he does have some slight resource guarding tendencies around toys he would do best in a home with no young children under the age of 14. In general, he will do well with humans who respect his boundaries. He is truly a loving companion who just needs a little understanding. Frosty is a  10/10 dog  who would continue to learn and blossom in a loving home where he can be the center of attention. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who appreciates slow walks, paw shakes and gentle affection, Frosty might just be your perfect match! Story
Meet Ranger – Your New Best Friend! Ranger is a loving 6-year-old Lab Hound mix looking for a new home. We rescued him from the Atlanta Humane Society, and he was our first baby. He’s energetic, playful, and loves chasing tennis balls, going on long walks, playing in lakes, and finding hidden treats. He’s house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Since having children, Ranger has shown jealousy through growling and barking, so he needs a home with older or no kids. He thrives with space to run and play. Our move and growing family mean we can’t provide the time and attention he deserves. He’s affectionate, loves chest rubs and ear scratches, and gets along with dogs and cats. We’re looking for a responsible, loving home that can give him the care he needs. Please reach out if you’d like to meet Ranger or learn more!

She’s learned to trust people and embrace new experiences, and now she’s ready to enjoy life to the fullest. Cleo is especially fond of playing with other dogs, and her best friend, Bailey, holds a special place in her heart. These two are absolutely inseparable, and their bond is truly heartwarming. Story
Meet Rosetta, Rose for short. Rose was born Feb 2014 and is a Georgia red dog who loves her people and follows them everywhere. Some say you can see the hearts coming from her eyes when she looks at her person. She is sweet, calm and well-mannered, although when it is time to come out of her crate, you may hear her bark with excitement. Her ideal forever home would be a calm household with a dog sister, maybe a fenced backyard to explore, but if not, a family that enjoys walking the neighborhood. Rose is crate trained and housebroken, and able to be crated for an entire workday. She is just an incredibly sweet and calm girl who is looking for a family committed to making her an important member of the family.January 3, 2025, 6:28 pm

Story
Hey everyone, my name is Tibia, aka “the Golden Child.” My momma was a chocolate lab and my daddy was a golden retriever/black lab retriever (he was on the smaller side). I'm the "golden" child because all of my siblings are black ;-)  I'm about to turn a year old soon, and I'd love to celebrate by having a home of my own.  I haven't had a lot of exposure to the outdoor world and all that it has to offer. Sometimes, it feels scary But I'm eager to explore and to learn. I can be an only child or I could have playmates, but fommy says no little dogs or cats because I don't know how to play properly with them and sometimes when we're in a big yard I think they're a squirrel instead of a little dog. It was an honest mistake, right? ;-) I didn't hurt the little guy, but I sure scared him and his mommy. So we'll stick with bigger dogs for me.   I'm working on crate training and doing very well, and I’m doing really great with my collar and leash because I never even knew those things existed until a couple weeks ago. But I sure am enjoying learning all these new things about the world.   Snuggling and supervising you do the laundry are just two of my favorite things. I'm a super quick learner, and I love to be outdoors with my person. So, I think I'd make a great running partner. Right now I'm barely 40lbs, but I should get to be about 50/55lbs max.   Well, if you've gotten this far in my autobiography then you must be captured. So click on the application form and come and meet me. You won't regret it, I promise!       An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
