Wags Rescue welcomes 9 month old, lab/bulldog Fionnie! What a beauty. She came to us at 4 weeks of age. She was being given away to just anyone who drive up at the Taco Bell parking lot. Thankfully, a friend of our rescue grabbed at 5 of them to save their lives. Fionnii is now 9 mos and 50 lbs of playful, happy little girl with a zest for life. She enjoys all canine friends she meets here. She’s now spayed, microchipped, utd on vaccines and on her monthly preventions. You can apply for her at wags-rescue.org

Wags Rescue welcomes Sol! Hi, I’m Sol. I am a female lab mix. I am 4 months old and weigh 28 pounds. I have been spayed and am updated on all my vaccines including my rabies. I have been microchipped. I have not been heartworm tested due to age, but I am on preventative. I’m still learning how to only use the bathroom outside, but I give some signals when I need to use the restroom. I have been crate trained but prefer to be around my owner. I do know how to walk on a leash, but I do get excited and tend to jump around a lot. I have made friends with several other dogs and am around a cat minimally. However, when he is around, I don’t mind. My foster family has done great taking care of me and my sister, but I am looking for my forever family. You can apply at wags-rescue.org

Story
Meet WAGS Stetson, this 17 week old 22.3 lb puppy is absolutely amazing. He was found on the side of a very busy road and very hungry which is his only flaw that we can find is that he wants to eat by his little self. Which that's not unusual when one is starved. He is extremely smart, very sleek coated, sweet, full of fun and just a dream this puppy is. Did I tell you how smart this puppy is? This mixed breed puppy is UTD on all shots, HW prevention, rabies, microchipped, neutered, sits and comes on command is crate trained, leashed trained, house trained and good with others. If interested in continuing his training and making Stetson apart of your family or just need an adventurous buddy, go to WAGS-Rescue.org and apply.

Story
This litter is dubbed the Armadillo Road litter, which is the road they were born on with their mom. Their mom was owned by not so good people who didn't feed or care that she had litter after litter. They didn't care what happened to the mom or the babies. We were called by a concerned neighbor when the temperature climbed well into the 100s - it was just too hot for mom to nurse and maintain sanity. She was frantic and trying to constantly move the babies...sometimes only moving half and leaving others behind. Because of this the babies were very dehydrated and sick from worms. We decided the best thing to do as to take the babies (4 weeks old) get them safe and let mom stay with the neighbors who feed her to dry up so she could get spayed. She was spayed in July and no more babies for that girl, and now her babies are ready to find a new home. Mom was a lab mix and we presume one of the dads was possibly a chih mix as these pups are pretty small for moms size. No matter what they are they are adorable and sweet as pie. They all share food together without fussing and are super social and happy with dogs and people. If you think these babies would be a good addition to your family please fill out the application at https://shorturl.at/syCM3 to get started. They will be chipped, current on vaccinations and dewormed. You will be responsible for spay and/or Neuter at 6 to 10 months of age. They are too young at this time.SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Story
Maverick is a meaty boy that is super sweet and loves to give hugs to anyone that will accept them from him. He has been absolutely perfect since coming to the rescue and gets along with all the dogs he's in a run with during the day. He has shown nothing but love to anyone that has interacted with him. We're unsure if he has ever been around cats, kids, or is he's been in a house before so his housetraining status is unknown. He can be cat tested at one of the volunteer/foster's house in order to see how he does with them. If you want your own personal couch hippo that'll snuggle on your couch and give you all the love you could ever want, please put an application in on Maverick, you won't regret it.SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Story
Goose was covered in a horrible skin infection and while the shelter he was at was doing treatment for him, he needed to find a safe place to land after what he's been through. He made it to SGER and is doing amazing! He is a total lover that loves to play with the many other dogs he has around him and will flop and roll to his back for belly rubs. He is an amazing older puppy that needs his forever home now that his skin is healed and his hair is growing back in beautifully. We're unsure if he has ever been in a house or around cats so how he is in both areas is unknown. He can be cat tested upon request from an interested adopter. Please fill out an application for this gorgeous boy.

Story
Wags Rescue welcomes Sam ! This gorgeous German Shorthair Pointer found himself locked up at the pound as a stray. No one came for him! That’s unbelievable. However, we’re delighted to have him here and give him the life he deserves without roaming the streets looking for warmth. He’s cold natured and loves being inside in his blankets on cold days. Of course, he does love to romp the fenced in yard as well. He’s playful and great with other dogs. He’s a hugger so would do best with older children. He loves to be loved and cradled. We are working hard on the “ off commands” to prevent the jumping. Sam is no neutered, utd on vaccines and microchipped. He does need a fenced yard, but makes no attempt to leave the property. He’s about 18 mos old and weighs 50 lbs. He’s great on leash, but need further training to keep his paws off everything. He’s a Gem! You can apply for this family pet at wags-rescue.org
