Story
Dawn is ready to ring in the New Year with her new family! Dawn is a precious six-month-old lab mix who absolutely adores her human and is incredibly eager to please. It’s hard to imagine her tough start - she spent four months in a lonely shelter pen after being abandoned at just eight weeks old. But now she's ready to start a new chapter with a loving family! ** Size: Petite lab mix, currently around 20 pounds and not expected to grow much larger. ** Temperament: Extremely dog-friendly! She has been socialized with dogs of all ages and is a respectful playmate. ** Human Connection: She is responsive to human direction and eager to learn. ** Training Progress: Still working on being fully housebroken, but she is making amazing progress considering she has only recently started living in a home environment. Dawn is a snuggle queen! Dawn bonds hard and strong once she knows you are a safe human. Her foster mom’s favorite part of the day is when Dawn leaps into her lap and snuggles in for full-body cuddles. She’d thrive in a home with a confident canine companion, or with adopters who know she’s worth the love and patience it takes to win her heart. She has been fully vetted – vaccinated, spayed and microchipped – and is ready for a fresh start! If you’re looking for a New Best Friend for the New Year, she would love to meet you! Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs! Our adoption fee is $350. **We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)** If you are interested in any of our dogs, please visit https://releashatlanta.com/adoptable-dogs.php to either view more of their profile or to apply to adopt! Story
Tank is a sweet and playful puppy with a shiny black coat and a heart full of love. Thought to be a mix of Lab, Heeler, and Cattle Dog, this adorable boy is just a few months old and already looking for his forever family. Tank has a gentle, affectionate nature and is the perfect balance of fun and snuggles. He loves running and playing outside but is equally happy to settle in for some belly rubs and quiet time with his people. Friendly and curious, Tank enjoys the company of other dogs and cats. He’d be thrilled to have a furry sibling but would also be content as the center of attention in a loving home. Due to his herding instincts, he’s best suited for families without small children. Tank would thrive in an active home where he can join in on adventures like hiking, playing in the yard, or just tagging along for family fun. A fenced yard for playtime is recommended, and his eagerness to learn makes him a great candidate for training and socialization. Tank is ready to be your loyal companion and adventure buddy. He can’t wait to meet you! Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Penelope is a darling pup with the look of a Blue Heeler-Lab mix and a heart as big as her soulful eyes. At just a few months old, she’s the perfect blend of playful energy and snuggly sweetness, ready to find her forever family. Penelope would be a wonderful fit for an active household that enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking, running, or backyard playtime. She’s eager to learn and will do best with someone who can guide and train her as she grows. A fenced yard would be a dream for this energetic girl, and if you’re looking for a farm dog, Penelope might be the perfect match! She’s great with other dogs and even enjoys hanging out with her foster kitty sibling. However, due to her herding tendencies, a home with older children or adults would be ideal. Penelope is ready to bring joy, energy, and love to her new family. She can’t wait to meet you! She is as sweet as her name, as well as an exuberant, fun, loving girl!  Honey came to a county shelter with another dog, and sadly had been in and out of the shelter due to being found running at large numerous times. Because of that, Honey and her brother Conan (who we also saved and is available!) were placed on the euthanasia list.  We wanted to save Honey's life, but did not have a foster for her. Thankfully a temporary foster stepped up in the nick of time, but we MUST FIND A NEW FOSTER asap!! If interested, please fill out the foster application at the link below, thank you! Honey is very dog and people friendly. We are still learning about her as we just saved her on 6/17, so will update with more about her as we get to know her.  We do know that she loves to play in the water and the sand, so if you're looking for a lake or beach dog, Honey is your girl!  If you are interested in her, please fill out an application at the link below, and we will be in touch! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/GARP/Dog Foster app: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/GARP/DogVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 31, 2024, 12:47 pm
