Story
Meet Biscotti Biscotti is a 2 year old male that was brought to a kill shelter as a stray. He had his freedom ride yesterday from the shelter and is understandably still very nervous. He seems to be more shut down than Barley. There’s no telling how long these sweet boys were off on their own. He did relax a bit once he was back in his kennel. Biscotti will be getting neutered early next week along with having a minor surgery on his eyelid. His recovery should be quick and will not affect his quality of life moving forward. Then this sweet boy will be ready for his new home! ** Biscotti is looking for a foster or forever home** FOSTER ADOPT Foster update: Biscotti has been in a foster home for almost a week now and has made a lot of progress. When we picked him up at the vet’s office, he was really nervous and kept his tail tucked. Yet he was just as sweet and gentle as he could be from the moment he walked over to us. Once we got home, the tail started wagging and he opened up a bit. He immediately took to our other dogs and it’s clear having other furry buddies around puts him at ease. He has come out of his shell over the last several days and showed us how much he loves playing with toys. In fact, he loves them so much he sometimes has a hard time deciding on which one to play with. You can pretty much guarantee wherever he is in the house, he’s going to be surrounded by a sea of toys. He also enjoys chasing balls in the yard, but is still working on the bringing them back part. He has a goofy personality that is hard to resist and adores attention from humans. There have been no accidents in the house, so we think it’s pretty safe to say he is potty trained Come say hello to sweet Biscotti at our adoption event on Saturday!

Story
Who could resist this handsome face??? Jett is a Lab mix, about 8 years old, and weighs around 70 lbs. He loves people of all ages (including kids), and aims to please! Jett is athletic and active, and would enjoy a forever home with a fenced-in yard so he can play with his soccer ball (or any ball, really). He is very well-trained and obedient; he is well-mannered on his walks and is fully potty and crate trained. Jett is dog-selective, and would prefer a home where he can be the only dog; no cats for this guy either please. Jett is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.

Story
I adopted Max, a male dog, from a professional breeder when he was about a month old. Max is now almost 2 years old and we have complete vaccination and neuter records for him. He is very friendly with children and has never had any incidents of biting or aggressive behavior. Max is a bit timid and can get scared by loud noises, but overall, he is a sweet and gentle companion. We are looking for a new home where he can continue to be loved and well-cared for. He would do well in a family environment, especially one that can offer him plenty of love and patience.

Hank is a sweet 7 year old dog that needs a home where he can quietly rest and be someone’s companion. He is low maintenance but does have anxiety around thunderstorms and requires extra TLC during those times! His ideal home would be one where he is the only pet, no small children, and open areas where he can run and sunbathe to his heart‘s content.

Story
Hi I’m Sallie Brown and I would love to meet you! I am a little older (10 years) than some of the other girls around here, but I am still very active and love walks and car rides. I have a nice slim body (45 pounds) and great legs for walking. I’m also better trained than some of the other younger ones. I am house and crate trained and have good manners so you won’t need to worry about potty training with me. I would like to spend my days in a quiet home free of children, so I can enjoy time with adults who appreciate the quietness of life.  I have a sharp mind and enjoy mental stimulation. I enjoy walking alone or with another well-behaved dog I can be friends with, but I do like my personal space in a home. As I have matured, I have found that I like structure & consistency a lot. Therefore, I don’t want to share space with other little ones who don’t share my need for a quiet, settled lifestyle. If you enjoy the quieter side of life with daily walks and some brain exercises, then I think we could be a great match. For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue. *Some of our animals receive a high volume of applications, and we strive to select the best home for each animal. Story
Are you looking for a young dog or older puppy that's already trained? Then look no further because I am your guy! Hi! I'm Toffee Chip, but my foster mom calls me BUCK because when I chase squirrels I leap and bound in the air like a deer. I'm a 1-year-old lab mix weighing in at 51 pounds. I'm neutered and potty trained, and I sleep in my crate all night. But I don't need to be crated because I'm so well-behaved.   I have a sweet, loving, and cuddly personality. I know some basic commands, am obedient, and I want to please. I'm what you would call a Velcro dog because I LOVE my people and want to be with them.   I love playing with other dogs, chewing bones/toys, taking walks, playing catch, and going with you to run errands. My Foster mom says I'm FULL of personality!   I'm shy around strangers, so Mom says I have a touch of stranger danger. However, once I spend time with you, I settle right down. I like cats a little TOO much, so no cats for me. Because I am a silly, clumsy, but solid puppy, I'm a little too rough for small children. Put in your application TODAY and come and meet me!     Check out my photo portfolio to see lots more photos of my handsome face: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBECHr If you're interested in adopting me, Toffee Chip, please complete an online adoption application that you can fill out and submit online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms.      Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Crane is a sweet, energetic, 7-year-old, lab mix. This handsome guy is housebroken and crate-trained. When taking a stroll on a leash, Crane is quite excitable when meeting other dogs. So, he would be best romping around in a fenced-in yard instead of dog parks or doggy daycare.  Crane greets you with his warm brown eyes and floppy ears. This peppy pup loves people and would be a great addition to an active family that shares bunches of love, exercise, and stimulation. Young children are not the best fit for this lively fella.     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.          November 5, 2024, 4:02 pm

Story
Hops, a two year old, 53 pound, Lab/Pittie mix, is a lovable guy who adores everyone: children, men and women, and dogs big or small, even though he can be a little shy at first meetings. However, a "no cat" household is recommended.   Did I mention he's a lover? According to Hops, bedtime snuggles and morning belly rubs are the perfect way to start and end the day.  Hops is fully potty and crate-trained! He's great in his crate, probably will not need it much longer.   His ideal home is one where there is a fenced in yard and someone is home or can check on him throughout the day.  Hops had a minor fracture on one of his legs (probably why his name is Hops), but he quickly bounced back and is a healthy, active guy. Hops loves road trips with all the new sights and sounds. He also LOVES his leash walks under the guise of searching for sticks to take home. And while he loves his walks, his favorite outdoor activity is to run free in a fenced yard - his foster mom says you'll need one.  Hops is so excited to find his "fur-ever" home. If you love a well-behaved boy who loves hanging out, cuddling, and giving you some love, Hops is your guy! Apply to adopt Hops at angelsrescue.org/adopt. * Hops can, at times, be little dog selective. So, having a furry brother or sister is not a requirement.   * Additional pictures can be viewed on:  https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAWaVx     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions.
