Betty is a sweet girl who spent much of her young life on the street being care for by a kind homeless woman. She had at least two litters of puppies. Betty is now spayed. And she is up to date on her shots. She is very playful, friendly, and affectionate. She loves to sit with her person and give kisses. Betty is good with other dogs but tends to have a dominant personality so she needs to be with other dogs that do not mind being submissive to her. She has a lot of love to give and would make a wonderful companion! She just wants to be someone's bed and couch buddy! No kids under 12 please. Betty is currently in boarding at Graced Kennels in Augusta, Georgia and a portion of her adoption fee has been sponsored by a supporter of our rescue! Blue is a happy go lucky guy who loves to play fetch. He is a full-grown medium size dog (stands 19.5 inches high) and is 55 lbs. He is an adult years old. Blue loves to be outside playing fetch or chasing a ball. But he is just as happy getting snuggles and attention from his human. Blue was an owner surrender due to no fault of his own. His owner was moving and took the smaller dog. Blue previously shared living space with a Chihuahua and is not a fan of cats. The previous owner said he did not have accidents in the house. Blue likes talking to his human, taking baths, walks, and traveling in a vehicle. He resource guards his toys/treats and doesn't like to share with other animals. He loves kids, but would probably do better with older children who understand his issue with sharing. Blue is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. Sophie is 6 and a half year old lab mix that was surrendered to the rescue approximately 5 years ago after having been rescued by a neighbord. Sophie was abandoned by her evicted owners and left to fend for herself. She had been tethered up on the back yard...had several litters of pups and eventually broke he tether and was living on the front porch. Neighbors made a bed of blankets for her and were feeding her. Sophie has spent most of her time in a boarding facility. She takes a little time to warm up to people, but is very loving once she trusts a person. She is not trusty of kids so adult household only. She is not good with other dogs or cats. She loves to go on walks and loves to play with her toys. Cali is a sweet girl once found wandering the countryside in a near by county. She was in a foster home briefly...then adopted,but returned because of her high energy level. She then moved to another foster home for several years as since COVID dog adoption are slow. She recently moved into boarding facility as her foster Dad lost his home during Hurricane Helene. Cali needs a home with a secure fence...preferalby a privacy fence and a nice size yard to play in when outside. She is very treat motivated, but because once out on the street she still tends to take treats roughly because overly excited about them. So no children under 12 years of age. She also tends to resource guard her food so does not need to be in a home with other animals that graze on their food all day. Cali will need to eat separately. She once had a best buddy Cooper, but was even wary about him being around her food, treats, and sometimes toys. She needs to be the dominant dog in the house to ensure everyone gets along..and not sure she would do well with cats or young children. Cali is very excitable and feels like a train if she runs into you. Having said all this...don't be afraid. She is a very sweet and playful girl. Hank is such a sweet and kind dog. Almost 2 years old and loves to go on walks and to cuddle. He love attention and will be the best cuddle buddy anyone could ask for. Super sweet to kids and other dogs. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware that I had severe dog allergies when we got him and I’m having continued allergy issues at home. We’ve done all the things to help with my allergies but I’m still not getting any relief. We’re hoping to find someone who loves him as much as we do!

Her name is Beau, she is a 2 y/o husky/golden retriever mix. She has been fostered for a friend who couldn't keep her due to their living situation, and although the foster family would love to keep her, they unfortunately can't, and the friend is unable to take her back.She is an amazing dog, very loyal but also very high-energy. She needs a home where she will be able to run and someone that can spend a lot of time with her. She rarely barks, only when playing. She is friendly with all other dogs she's been around (and having another large dog to be her friend is preferable), but care needs to be taken with extremely small dogs as she can play a bit rough. She is good with children, and has never shown aggression towards another dog or human. She is crate-trained, and is up to date on all shots as well as on a current flea-tick-worm medicine (simparica trio).
