Story
Alexis is a sweet, loyal dog who has been with us since she was just a year old. She’s well-trained, especially with house manners, & follows commands reliably. For years, she’s brought joy to our home, but due to changes in our living situation, we sadly need to find her a new home. I had to move out of state for work last year, leaving my wife to care for Alexis alone. I visit monthly, which makes Alexis very happy, but she becomes noticeably depressed each time I leave. We believe she deserves a more stable environment. Alexis also loves spending time outdoors, but we live in a small apartment. While I used to take her on frequent & long walks, my wife works long hours entirely on her feet & doesn’t have the time or energy to provide the outdoor activity Alexis needs. We’re looking for a home where she can thrive with consistent care, attention, & preferably a backyard. We are willing to pay her pet insurance policy for the rest of her life as well as provide year supply of kibble.

Story
Tuna Luna was found living under a home in Lake Worth hiding from the kids in the neighborhood who used to throw rocks at her. The person whose home she was living under took her in and fostered her as long as she could but eventually had to let her go due to her life circumstances. She then went to live with her neighbor who was older and had 3 older dogs, and sweet Tuna is very active and was too much for the seniors. This is how she ended up at Animal Care and Control where she was extremely stressed and scared and ended up on the urgent list due to this. We pulled her out right before she was sent to be euthanized and she is in a temporary foster home and doing wonderfully. Tuna Luna is a very active girl. She loves to run, play fetch, and is great off leash. Tuna Luna would be great for someone with a backyard where she can run or with a very active lifestyle who loves to go on runs, hikes, walks and to the beach. She is very obedient and eager to please. Very quick learner. To see more photos or videos please go to my instagram @kellysfostersflorida or Kelly's Fosters on FB
