Story
Mollie is a 1 year old black lab mix. She is a sweetheart and full of energy. Good with cats, great with kids, and understands basic commands. Crate trained and house broken. She needs someone that can give her the attention she deserves and a yard to run in. She has received some training classes and learns quickly. We are expecting our third child and with mine and my husband’s work schedule we cannot give her the proper attention she fully deserves. She loves soft things like blankets and will lay right next to you on the couch.

Story
Where to start with this sweetheart of a pup! Apollo walks really well on a leash, house/crate trained, gives lots of kisses and wants to be by your side at all times. He pops up on the sofa and wants cuddle time when we get home and is always wagging his tail. He's playing with toys now and learning to fetch. He's a very laid-back dog with low energy and occasionally has mild zoomies. He sits to have his his leash put on although we haven't even worked with him on that. He knows basic commands sit and no. Apollo gets along with our cat and our lab although initially he was afraid. Now after 3 days they're best friends. He doesn't like other dogs rushing him, and getting in his face. He will deliver a low growl. But there is no lunging, biting, or snapping. It's 100% fear based. Apollo will be fine with other dogs, with slow, proper introductions. I wouldn't place him with young, rowdy kids, only polite older ones. He's a small little guys even though he weighs 30lbs. Apollo is looking for his furever home and would do best with a someone who is patient and reassuring when he's afraid.

Story
Bandit was a shelter dog who we rescued back in 2015. Due to a separation I am unable to take him where I am moving to out of state. He is a good dog and I am very devastated about the entire situation. He is potty trained very well. He loves kids (I have a 2 year old). He is really friendly and loves attention. He has been such a great boy from the moment we rescued him but I do hope we are able to find him a good loving home where he can be loved and live happily.

Story
Stormy This sweet Boxer mix is such a jolly guy. He could fit in nearly anywhere. He is great with all size dogs from 10lbs to 100lbs and is even great with cats! Stormy loves to be with you, lay next to you while you're working or just be in the same room as you. He's so sweet and an easy companion. He's happy, personable and makes friends easy. He doesn't require much, but his ideal home would have someone home more often than not. He likes companionship and to relax at home, but could also learn new things with his person. He would most likely enjoy an easy going dog, but could be your only dog as well. He is totally fine with cats and even small dogs. Stormy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. He is 6 years old (born January 2018), about 60lbs (he's lost weight since some of his photos) and currently in the St. Petersburg. His adoption fee is $150. www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process

Story
Meet Rusty! This sweet medium sized boy recently found himself as a stray that sadly no one was looking for A group of good samaritans were determined to save him and did! Thankfully, one of our amazing foster homes agreed to take him in and we were able to welcome him into our rescue. His foster mom says that he is a happy, energetic and extremely curious young boy He is a social butterfly that likes to meet new people and dogs (even cats ) although he needs to learn that not all cats want to play He's in a foster home with 3 male dogs and a few cats and does great with them. Rusty LOVES exploring the backyard and squeaky toys are his favorite He is working on leash training each day, which is all new to him, but he also has a few commands such as "no and "sit down pat - he's a fast learner. He would do best with another dog in the home and without small children who could let him out a door or spook him. But he will happily be you and your dog's best friend! Rusty is only about 45lbs, 1-2 years old and is both house and crate trained. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and HW-. His adoption fee is $250 and he is in St. Petersburg. www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process Let's find Rusty his happily ever after!

Story
Meet Banjo! This sweet sweet boy should be named Prince Charming. He is a beautiful yellow Labrador Retriever, with the light features of a Dudley Lab. His pink nose and hazel eyes are stunning. Banjo is estimated at 3 years old, but seems younger to us. He is 70lbs and a nice and slim lab! Banjo is a nervous, submissive boy who wouldn't hurt a fly. He seeks reasurrance from people and other dogs. He is housetrained, cratetrained and so well mannered. Banjo came to us with his "brother" who is a mini-doodle and although they are not bonded, Banjo seems to rely heavily on following another dog's lead. He is nervous around young kids and would do best in a home with a confident dog and a fenced yard. We have not had him around cats. This lovebug is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $400 and he is in St. Petersburg. www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process
