Sasha Mae is a terrific girl who has been at the rescue about 2 years, being overlooked time and time again for our smaller, fluffier Shih Tzus. This fantastic beauty will be loving, devoted, lots of fun, and a great companion for a new parent. Sasha Mae is happy, friendly, energetic and sweet. She loves to hang out with people and share her zest for life with everyone. Sasha Mae enjoys it all, including petting and belly rubs, playing fetch and playing with toys, romping in the yard, going for brisk walks, and giving sweet kisses. Sasha Mae is about 5 years old. She is overweight, but should be about 25 pounds at proper weight. She is surely a mix, perhaps some Labrador and Cocker Spaniel. She will do best with an active and engaging parent, whose home has a nice fenced yard if possible. Also, although she usually gets along with other dogs, on occasion this is not the case, so she would be best as the only dog in her new home. Or, we could try her with your current dog if need be. Cecilia was born sometime at he beginning of 2012 & weighs 53 lbs. She was found running next to the highway with her brother Guido when she was @ 6 mos. old..She is living in a foster home with other dogs and she gets along great with all of them but she needs someone to work with her on her manners. Kelly was injured and in so much pain when we rescued her from abandonment (https://fb.watch/noUEk_H5kN/). Sadly, her shattered leg couldn't be saved and was amputated, but she came through it very well and adjusted quickly to life as a tripod. We saw this sweet old girl settle once she realized her days of surviving on the streets were behind her and that every day there would be a comfy dry bed, food and water readily available -- she didn't have to dodge traffic to get to it, and that people were there to care for and remind her what a good girl she is. While she can still be skittish of new people, which is understandable considering everything she has been through, everyday, Kelly shows us more of her incredible personality. She is happy, spunky and loves attention. Kelly is ready for a home, where she can live out her days knowing she is safe and loved. Rum was found on the streets; he had a microchip which was registered. When we reached out to the owners, they said they could not take care of him and when he ran off, they didn't go looking for him. How sad is this, the only home you have known, and they decide they don't want you anymore and that's it. We were not going to fail this boy again, so we took him in with a temporary foster. Rum is 1.5 years old, neutered, microchipped, up to date with shots, good with kids, other dogs and still determining cats. Loves people and to play fetch and just hang out on the couch or floor close to his human and fur friends. Rum is a very sweet loving boy, who deserves a loving home to call his own. He is still a puppy and energetic, so he will do well with an active family, where he can go on long walks or hikes, playing fetch around the yard and will probably enjoy a good swim. He is located in Miami, FL. Will you be his Angel and give him the love and home he deserves????
