Story
Dude is one of those dogs we cannot believe didn't get scooped up right away! Such a sweet, mellow, gentle giant.  Dude is a beautiful 3 year old lab mix. He is a friendly, happy boy who gets along great with humans of all ages and with other dogs. He has never lived with cats so we have no history on how he might do with them. Dude is housebroken. While Dude doesn't have major separation anxiety and is a good boy at home, he is happiest when his people are around and we would love to find him a home with people who aren't away really long hours. Adoption fee $150. He is current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Located in the Greater Orlando area in Florida. ##2083305##

Story
Meet Athena! Athena is a beautiful 2-year-old pure breed Labrador Retriever, a spayed female with so much love to give. Athena was surrendered by her owner because they couldn't afford to take care of her and wanted a better life for her. Athena is seeking a foster home with few to no dogs. She does not do well with our pack. She is good with little dogs from our observation and cats. She is good with children but would do best in a house with older children because of her size and her tendency to excitably jump. Athena is very smart and knows the most common commands and tricks. She does need to lose weight so weekly exercise is important. Athena is growing her fur back from a flea allergy. Athena just needs updated vaccinations which with well done before she can be officially adopted. Athena has a very great temperament. Athena has separation anxiety. When left alone she can't hold her bladder unless she is crated or has a diaper on. She will need someone that is either work from home or is willing to work on this anxiety with her.  ##2135365##

Story
We are in dire need of volunteer fosters. Many advantages involved! Please help us save them! We need fosters in the Orlando area. We will provide all that's needed for the dog. Fostering is usually approx. 2 weeks because they find homes fairly quickly. If you can spare a little room in your heart and in your home, we would appreciate it. We can also hep to get your own dog spayed/neutered, if needed. Thank you, all! 407-781-9457November 5, 2024, 5:34 pm

Story
Meet Sunshine! This sweet, silly Labrador blend is 3 and a half years old and weighs 45 lbs. This playful pup will brighten your day with kisses, belly rubs, and love forever. General Behavior: Sunshine is a sweet, loving, playful, and energetic pooch. She gives endless kisses and adores belly rubs. Likes & Dislikes: Sunshine’s favorite thing to do is run! She loves playing, romping around in the yard, and snuggling with her humans. Training: Silly Sunshine has good basic manners and does well with her housetraining when kept to her schedule. She enjoys napping in her designated cozy area and rides well in the car. She is still working on her leash-walking skills and sharing her toys with others. Medical: This big-hearted gal needs the pressure points on her paws cleaned from time to time, and she can't bend her "wrists". But other than that, she just needs her monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Other Animals: Sunshine is good with other dogs of all sizes (although she might be a bit too playful for some small dogs). She can be a bit shy at first, but quickly warms up to other furry friends. She even gets along with cats. Children: Sunshine has not been observed around children yet, but she will probably need a home without small children as she is a very active gal who could knock them over. Older kids (10+) are okay. Home: A single-family home with a securely fenced yard and an active family would be perfect for Miss Sunshine! As long as she gets the exercise and attention she needs, she is sure to thrive! Grooming: Sunshine does not require much grooming apart from the occasional bath and nail trim when needed. Overall: Sunshine will be a wonderful companion for someone who is active and ready for lots of adventures and cuddles. Could you use some Sunshine on a cloudy day? Could Sunshine be your girl? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org, where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with her foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative. Her adoption donation is $275. ##1538120##
