Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Fairwinds – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making Fairwinds is a spunky little guy with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! This active pup is always ready to go—whether it’s playtime in the yard, a walk around the neighborhood, or tagging along on your next adventure. Fairwinds arrived at Pet Rescue By Judy with his three brothers after being transferred from an overcrowded rescue, all in hopes of finding loving forever homes. While we don’t know their exact breed mix, we expect Fairbanks to grow into a medium-sized dog, likely around 30-40 pounds when fully grown.   With his playful energy and curious nature, Fairwinds will thrive in a home that can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. He would do best with an active individual or family who can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and, of course, lots of love. A fenced backyard is preferred for this litter. Important Information for New Puppy Parents Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential. We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning. **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 9, 2026, 5:57 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yes, our beautiful Rosie likes cats!    Rosie was adopted and returned to PRBJ when her owner was unable to provide the right kind of enviornment to thrive in. Her owner originally was working from home which was perfect, but when she was needed in the office a few days a week, Rosie could not handle being left alone.  Unfortunately, Rosie does have severe seperation anxiety, and even with medication, was unable to handle being left alone. Rosie is not fond of dogs but she does like cats Potential adopters, please keep in mind that Rosie can easily jump a 6-foot fence if she is left alone. If you do have a fenced-in back yard you will need to supervise her at all times when she is out there playing. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:52 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Princess — a sweet lab mix looking for a quiet forever home    Princess’s story: Princess was sadly abandoned in an apartment, but a kind Good Samaritan fed and cared for her until we could help. She arrived at Pet Rescue By Judy in rough shape — desperate for veterinary attention. She was immediately taken to Healthy Pets, where Dr. Pinzon and his team put together a treatment plan for severe flea dermatitis and related skin infections. Princess is healing, feeling better every day, and ready to spend her golden years in a calm, loving home.  What Princess is like  Gentle and people-loving — she truly adores human attention. Enjoys quiet companionship and calm routines. Not a fan of other dogs or puppies (we tested her with both — it’s a no-go), so she must be the only pet in the household. Best in an adult-only home or a home with older children where she can enjoy a peaceful retirement.  Medical status  Received immediate veterinary care at Healthy Pets under Dr. Pinzon’s treatment plan. Currently doing well and on the mend from severe flea dermatitis and skin infections. (Ongoing vet follow-up as recommended by Healthy Pets.)    Ideal adopter  You’ll be a patient, loving person or family who:   Can give Princess one-pet-only attention and a calm environment. Prefers a quieter household (adults or older children). Is ready to provide gentle, consistent care as she continues to enjoy her golden years.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:52 am

Neo is a playful, energetic pup who is always ready for fun! Whether it’s going for walks, playing in the yard, or simply spending time with his people, Neo brings enthusiasm and joy to everything he does.
