Story

Endicott is one of two great puppies who have an incredible story and finally arrived in the USA to find their forever home. Endicott is now the only puppy available for adoption. He was found along with his siblings starved, dehydrated, covered in scratches, and riddled with parasites in a Mexican beach town. A kind American nursed them back to health, taking them to the vet frequently, then obtained all necessary paperwork to fly them back to Florida. He is 5 months old, healthy, happy, UTD on all shots, neutered, and on NextGard heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Sweet and gentle, with the usual puppy energy, and quite low-maintenance. People always say mutts make the best pets and these two prove the point! He is working on his potty training and is eager to please. He comes when called, and sits on command. Well behaved in the car, and learning to walk on a leash. He loves to run and play, then collapse and nap. Endicott wants to be close to his people. He seems grateful for the second chance he has been given. As you can see from the photos he is a lab/terrier mix. Endicott (all black except for white toes) is also on the smaller side weighing about 30 lbs and he likely won't get much bigger. Adoption fee is $250.00

Nellie (3 to 5 years old- 56 LBS) is a super sweet girl, she hasn’t been dealt the best hand but you would never know it. She’s the only dog that made it out alive of a dog hoarding situation. She’s just happy to be here. House trained is an understatement, she only need to be let out 2 or 3 times a day if that. She loves a good walk but also loves lounging around and cuddling. She’s been living in an apartment for a couple months but also knows how to use a doggy door and let herself out. She loves everyone and really just wants a forever home. A Sponsor will pay her adoption fee of $50.00 and we will cover her renewal at the veterinarian for next visit (including all necessary vaccines) Nellie (4 years old- 56LBS)

Jordan is under a year old- 22 LBS and is a great little one who was hit by a car and almost lost her leg. A note from her foster Mom Ruthie: Hi my name is Jordan the dog. Despite all the bad things that have happened to me, I'm a happy girl. The rescue picked me up from the pound when I had a broken leg and I couldn't use my leg at all. But now my leg is better, and I can use it and run and jump and play like I used to be able to do. I love my foster mom so much. All I want is to please her and do right by her and make her happy and be a good girl. I love all the attention and affection I can get from my foster mom and seek it out regularly. She tells me I'm a good girl and a smart girl all the time. I would do anything to protect my foster mom because I love her so much. I love my foster brother and sisters and their cats. Buddy is a very gentle dog who loves people and didn't start his first part of his life in the best condition. Little note from his foster parents: This is Happy/but we've been calling him Buddy and he responds to that. ?We picked him from the shelter bc he was on the euthanasia list. He was great there and was good with other dogs but he didn't handle the veterinarian very well and was on the rescue list because of that. He had only a short time to live. Poor baby shook and shivered all the way home, he was so scared. He's young, and really wants to please people. He was an outside dog all his life, and seems to enjoy being inside but likes to play in the yard, too. Buddy knows basic commands like, Sit, Stay, Leave it. He does really well with our 8 year old twin grandsons, and is fine with our dogs. Would be better with mid to large dogs. If anyone would love a very pretty, very good boy…let us know. He has lots of love to give.? Who needs a new best friend? He is mostly a mix of Labrador flat coated and shepherd. Shelter thought he was two, but the people who had him before told us that he was only a year old. His adoption fee is $200.

Maggie is ready to find her forever home! She would like a home with a big yard and someone who like to play fetch. She walks respectfully in a leash and gets very excited to go on adventures. She really loves toys and playtime. Maggie likes to lay in the sun and smell the fresh air. She loves car rides, and is a better passenger than most people. She is great in the house! She will come and tell you when she has go potty. She never has accidents in the home. She likes to couch and bed snuggle with you, and she actually shares the space like a lady! She has amazing recall and is great with voice commands. Maggie is really smart and wants to please. She learned the “place” and “stay” commands in one day. She is truly delightful to have around. She is attentive to her humans. She does like other dogs and not reactive to cats, but she does occasionally get protective over her humans and her bed. I think she would enjoy being the only dog in the house. She just loves her humans. If you’ve always wanted a dog that will be your bestie, she is it. I almost became a foster failure with her, but my Rottie decided that she doesn’t want another house mate. 😢M

It is heartbreaking to make this post. Ritchie has found himself available again. His adoptive mom had to make the emotional decision to return him to us when she lost her home to Hurricane Milton.
