Story
Galadriel is a sweet, beautiful girl about 14 months old! She is a yellow lab mix weighing about 63 lbs. She loves cuddles, playing with toys, fetch, and giving kisses. She has a lot of energy, and can be shy. She enjoys eating and will give such a cute face to get snacks from you. She’s loving, loyal, and always wants to sleep in bed with you. When you get home from work or shopping she wags her tail so much that her whole body moves with it and she’ll show you a toy to play! She deserves a good home that will spoil her a lot, with a big backyard with grass, and giving her lots of attention. If you adopt her and cannot care for her in the future or she doesn’t adapt, return her to us. We care about her happiness and want the best for her. We don’t want her ending up in a shelter or society. She does have anxiety and has separation anxiety, and we can provide her crate, toys and blankets to help the transition. Galadriel is an angel and deserves the very best of life.

This sweet girl was found wandering the streets of the county. Taken in by a Good Samaritan, Abby was timid and not sure about people. She quickly warmed up to the folks and their 3 large dogs. After a vet appointment, she was declared healthy! She loves to snuggle on the couch ...especially with one of the big dogs at the fosters. Loves to play tug o war with the big dogs too.!

Story
~ I can live in a single family home (condos considered).~ I want to live with kids over 8 years of age who are familiar with large, active dogs.~ I would enjoy sharing my home with another likeminded dog who enjoys a rough and tumble playstyle.~ I am willing to consider sharing my home with cats.~ I am a medium-high energy kind of dog and am looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day.~ I have a lower vocal level.~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. I may do best with a family who has owned dogs before.Lucky is a 6-year-old neutered male Retriever Mix, weighing 61.6 lbs of sweetness and untapped potential. After being surrendered by his owner of five years due to a move, Lucky is now looking for a new family to call his own. This charming, medium-high energy dog is ready to be part of a home that can give him the attention and exercise he thrives on!Lucky may be best suited for a family in a single-family home (condos considered) as he’s a bit large and active for apartment life. He’s open to sharing his space with a dog who enjoys a rough-and-tumble play style. Though he’s a little unsure of cats, he’s willing to give them a chance, so a home with a feline friend is possible with the right introduction.Lucky is a great companion who rides well in the car, is housetrained and crate trained. He’s smart and knows some basic commands like sit, down, come, and give paw, and he even helps out by sitting by the door when he needs to go outside. Lucky enjoys playing with ball toys, sticks, and more, so if you’re an active family who loves outdoor adventures, he would love to join right in.Please note that Lucky has some special medical needs but still has lots of life to live and love to give. Story
~ I can live in a single family home.~ I want to live with dog savvy adults and teens who are sturdy with XL breeds.~ I would like to live with a dog but I have not had much experience with cats. I may be willing to share my home with a feline.~ I am a high energy kind of dog and am looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day.~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. I need an active family that has experience owning large, high energy dogs and is ready to continue my training.Meet Shelby – A Sweet, Playful Goofball Looking for an Active Family!Shelby is a 3-year-old, 101-pound Lab/Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and energy! She was surrendered due to her owner’s change in work schedule, which didn’t allow enough time to give her the attention she deserves. Shelby is a sweet, playful goofball who thrives in a home with dog-savvy adults and teens who are comfortable with large, high-energy dogs. Shelby has lived with two other large breed dogs and was very playful with them. While she has no experience with cats, she may be open to sharing her home with one, given the right introduction. She can be cautious at first with new people and dogs and may bark initially, but once she warms up, she’s affectionate and ready for fun. Shelby’s ideal home would be a single-family home with a large fenced yard where she can run and play to her heart’s content. She loves car rides and is both house and crate trained. When left alone, she’s most comfortable being crated to ensure she stays out of trouble. At 101 pounds, Shelby is a strong, energetic girl who enjoys walks, but she’ll need her easy-walk harness to help manage her pulling on the leash. She’s a fun, playful dog who can be a bit jumpy and exuberant at times, so her new family should be experienced with large, high-energy breeds to help her continue to thrive. Shelby also loves attention and will happily lean against your leg, gently asking for pets and affection whenever she can! This sweet girl is looking for an active family who can provide the exercise and mental stimulation she needs every day. She has a lot of potential and is ready to continue her training with a family that has experience with high-energy, XL dogs. Thor is a guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He loves people and craves attention from anyone who is willing to give it to him. He has a confident demeanor and likes to be in charge, often acting as a leader among the other dogs at the rescue. Thor's energy and strength can sometimes be too much for his own good. With proper care and exercise, he can shed those extra pounds and become a healthier, happier pup. Despite his flaws, Thor is a lovable and loyal companion who just needs a little extra help to reach his full potential.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
I have videos!!! Surrendered by a family whose son turned out to be allergic to pets, Isla (pronounced “eye-la”) uses her sandy-white coat and black-framed, sea-green eyes to show you why she is named for the Spanish word for “island.” Her mom was a German Shepherd/Lab mix; dad was a traveling man. Lack of socialization left Isla wary of strangers, and she’s a little worried and antsy at first; but she comes around with a few minutes’ patience and time and is ready to play fetch and accept treats. Highly food motivated, she walks happily on a leashed “sniff and stroll” through the woods, responds promptly to “sit”, and is doing well learning other commands. At 19 months old and weighing 49 pounds, she is already house-trained (she lived happily with a family of dad, mom, two teenage boys and a toddler), crate-trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccines and monthly parasite preventatives. Her easy-care coat and playful attitude with other dogs add to her list of assets. She would love to have another family of her own! https://youtu.be/6pmyBBgp2fY FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla learns the "release" commandhttps://youtu.be/Z1BDW5nXN_U / FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla learns not to play with slip lead!https://youtu.be/c9mb7HEdpM4 FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla plays ball by herself!https://youtu.be/hEaDsFgvnok FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla goes on a Stroll&Sniffhttps://youtu.be/yqmXoKIPhxM FOCCAS adoptable dog checks out a big turkeyhttps://youtu.be/3Mw0_JK3RTY FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla plays fetch and practices "Leave it"The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering.
