Story
weight 38 lbs age: 8 months as of 12/11/24 adoption donation: $599     Daphne is a super sweet and gentle girl. She loves cuddles and ear scratches. Daphne is shy and a bit insecure as she has had a rough beginning. She is looking for a loving home with another dog (or dogs) to help her become her best self. If you have a great pup and are looking for a second Daphne may be the perfect match for you. She will also need a fenced in yard in order to adjust quickly and fully to her forever home.      Daphne was found with her sister Hayden, emaciated and living in a culvert in a rural and remote part of northern Mississippi in an area known as a dumping ground for dogs. Despite her difficult beginning Daphne is a great dog. She loves other dogs and is great with cats. At the rescue in Mississippi she loved to splash in the plastic swimming pool! She also loves to run in the yard and prance in the leaves. Daphne is currently being fostered in a home with two dogs and a cat in New England and is ready to meet her forever family.      Daphne is fully vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. She doesn’t have a drop of aggression and is housebroken, as soon as she gets outside, she gets right down to business!          Daphne will make a wonderful addition to your family. Wags is a licensed 501 C3 where one woman takes care of almost 150 homeless and stray dogs many of them have expensive medical needs.. Adoption fees include transport, vaccinations, microchip, and spay or neuter. For more information on Daphne or any of our rescue dogs please email her foster parent Kerry at KerryAnneMulligan@ymail.com  December 18, 2024, 8:46 pm

MEET COLE! An amazing shelter survivor, this guy has charmed his foster mom! Cole is very sweet, wonderful on the leash, GREAT with other dogs, seems to ignore cats. This incredible dog is ready for his forever! A gorgeous, handsome lab mix, he will thrive in almost any home. Ideal home for COLE? One that loves and cares for him of course; a home committed to him forever. A home that will give this young, healthy guy daily sufficient exercise and stimulation. A home with another dog or two or three would be great, but he'll do fine as solo as well. Cole is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 89 lbs. He is utd and neutered. Interested? Have questions? Please contact reboundhounds@gmail.com and his rescue will get right back to you, thanks! COLE IS IN GREENFIELD CENTER, NY

Story
ECHO IS IN A FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED.   This is Echo. As you can see, Echo is gigantic, but gentle. Echo and two siblings were found on a dark country road in February of 2023. She was badly abused, and is extremely shy. Echo has received lots of love and attention, but is still a very scared girl, who will need lots of love and gentle care. New situations and people can be terrifying for Echo, and her fear sometimes expresses itself through aggression. We are working with her to overcome this, but she will need training and love. If you can break through that shell, you will find a gigantic, thoughtful, couch potato. If you give Echo a chew bone and a comfy seat, she will be one of the happiest creatures you have ever met. She is extremely intelligent, emotive, and personable. If you annoy Echo, she will remember it, and steal your seat in revenge. The only way to get her to leave is by giving her a belly rub. Echo will shadow your every move. If you are going somewhere, she wants to come with you. She is at her happiest when she has a nice chewbone and the seat next to you. She is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. Adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Echo up north to her new family. Story
REX IS IN A FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED. This is Rex. He might be part giant, but if so, he is one of the gentle ones. He is sweet, funny, and gentle. His favorite thing in the entire world is playing fetch and catching balls. If he misses a catch, he will happily retrieve the ball or toy so you can try again. He also likes to give kisses—gentle taps with his nose to your nose. Rex is energetic, but well mannered. He is house trained and will sit on command. He is people focused—if you are up wandering around, you will have a large dark shadow following your every step. He is also cat-friendly. Rex is intelligent, but easily pleased. Give him a toy and a hug, and his day has been made. Once you get him feeling comfortable, he is a big, goofy, sweetheart. Rex is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. He is looking for just the right family! Adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Rex up north to his new family. She is also up-to-date on her flea, tick and heartworm preventatives (just received 6 month shot).  Her adoption fee is $550 and includes her transportation to her new home in CT.  SHE IS IN A LOVING FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO HER NEW HOME ONCE ADOPTED!  New Beginnings Animal Rescue uses  a licensed and registered USDA transport company. You can apply to adopt here:   http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application22.html   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!
