Story
Rocky & his running buddy, were left on the streets to fend for themselves. They had been wandering around that neighborhood for a while and befriended a kind business owner who made sure they did not go hungry. Thanks to that Good Samaritan who gained their trust, they were taken in & have been in foster care since. He has gained 20 pounds since then and is doing great! He is approx 3 years old & is fully vetted. As you can see in the video, he is a loving playful pup. Rocky is a completely gorgeous guy, both inside and out! He is full of love and is always in a carefree good mood. His furever family is going to be lucky beyond belief. If you are interested in learning more about this really sweet and deserving boy, please feel free to text or call Alecia Clark, @ 901-486-2850. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Tennessee and have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. His adoption fee of $275 includes his vaccinations, neuter, microchip and his transport to his new furever home. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. We will do everything possible to make sure he is the perfect match for you and your family & will be with you every step of the way.

Story
This handsome boy is Willie and he is our Dog of the Month for July! If you adopt Willie this month, the adoption fee is 25 % reduced! Willie is a 9-month-old lab mix and weighs 35 lb. Willie needs a loving, supportive, patient home. He can be shy at first and does startle at loud noises but he really comes out of his shell if given the time. Willie would do well around respectful dog-savvy children and would love to have a dog friend at home to play with. A dog could really help him to feel more comfortable and confident! We don't know what Willie thinks of cats but we can cat-test him if needed. Willie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, healthy and ready for adoption now! If you would like to meet/adopt Willie, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org if you need assistance or have any questions.

Story
This handsome boy is Bubbles. He is a 2-year-old lab mix with the cutest stub tail. Bubbles weighs 50 lb and has a shiny golden coat. Bubbles has experienced a lot of change in a very short amount of time. He was a local owner surrender and went from living outside in a yard to now getting used to inside living at a foster home. The foster says he is making great progress and is very sweet and gentle. Once Bubbles feels comfortable with you, he remembers you as his person and will jump for joy the next time he sees you. Bubbles' trust can take some time to earn but it is well worth it. Once he is comfortable, he is a very playful and outgoing dog who just wants to flop in your lap for attention. He is doing very well with housetraining and settling in a crate. Bubbles needs a home where people are willing to work with him and able to make some exceptions with him, like slow introductions to guests that enter the house and continuing to help his world grow bigger as he was originally from the Dominican Republic and then received very little exposure when living outside in his previous home. He is very playful and can be mouthy when worked up, so dog savvy and experienced owners are recommended. Bubbles would do best in a home without young children and would do well with a dog friend to play with. He would do best in a home without cats. Are you that special person, ready to give Bubbles a second chance at the kind of life every dog deserves? He will be a loyal and loving companion in return. Bubbles is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $395. If you would like to meet/adopt Bubbles, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org if you need assistance or have any questions. Here is a video of Bubbles and our trainer: https://youtube.com/shorts/W0p4yjs84v8

The sibling was hit by a car and passed but Buddy would NOT leave his side. He sat for possibly days honoring his sibling until he was finally rescued. NOW HE NEEDS TO BE RESCUED. Please give this amazing pup a place to call home. He is a playful and loving one year old black lab mix.   UPDATE: Buddy is in CT.  He is great with all sizes dogs, not sure about cats. Good with people and kids. He's no older than 18months so is active. No health concerns; he can get jumpy when excited but not a lot; he's used to an home environment, is good on leash and is being taken out 3 times a day.   Applications can be submitted through https://lgarinc.org/adoption-application/.  Please note that you must be 25 years of age to adopt and we reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone.  All applications are subject to review and approval and a tax-deductible adoption donation is required to be paid prior to adoption day.   Please note that you must be 25 years of age to adopt and we reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone.  Please be advised that we will not approve adoptions to persons who mislead or fail to provide accurate information on this application.  Incomplete applications will not be processed.
