Story
Oakley is a handsome and energetic Lab mix looking for a special home where he can thrive. This lovable boy has been a cherished family member since he was a puppy, but a new child has led to his need for a new forever home. Personality: Oakley is a unique soul with a heart of gold. He may be shy and skittish at first, but once he bonds with you, his loyalty knows no bounds. His high-energy nature means he's always up for playtime, especially if it involves his favorite activity – playing fetch with a ball! Ideal Home: Oakley would do best in an adult-only home with patient, understanding owners who can provide him with the structure and consistency he needs. He requires a calm environment and would prefer to be the only pet in the household. Training & Socialization: While Oakley has basic training, he still needs work on leash manners. He's intelligent and eager to please, making him a quick learner with the right guidance. Oakley would benefit from continued socialization

Story
Yo, Vanilla! Kick it one time, boy! Please meet the one, the only, Vanilla Ice! Vanilla is a 1 year old, male, lab mix. He has THE softest fur and the curliest tail you ever did see 😉! Vanilla is dog friendly and since he’s just a pup himself, he enjoys wrestling around with his canine foster siblings. He is so darn cute, little kiddos find him irresistible and that makes him pretty nervous. So, we are seeking an adult only home for our boy. Vanilla boasts being crate trained and he’s quite an epic snuggler, too. He’s presently 45 lbs and likely nearly fully grown. He is best suited in a home with a fenced in yard. Vanilla is in foster in Black Hawk, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/vanilla. You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Caache is a gentle soul with a quiet nature. He is looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved. He is housetrained and crate trained. He enjoys the company of other dogs and cats. He walks well on leash. He loves affection, especially chin rubs. He enjoys playing with toys and can keep himself occupied. This brave boy has an autoimmune disorder, but it is well controlled with medication. He would love to be adopted into a home with a woman as his main caretaker, as he’s naturally shy around men; however, he may warm up to a kind and patient man with time. Caache would be especially happy in a home with another doggy friend to keep him company. If you are looking for a loyal companion, Caache is waiting for you.

Story
Paw Patrol Pups Report Overview The three puppies - Chase, Skye, and Everest - were found abandoned in a dumpster in northeast Colorado. They are approximately 3 months old and believed to be lab mix breed. The two female puppies (Skye and Everest) have been spayed, while the male puppy (Chase) has been neutered. All three puppies are up-to-date on their vaccinations and have been microchipped. Adoption Readiness The puppies are still learning basic house and crate training, so they will require patient and consistent training from their new owners. Despite their rough start, the puppies are described as playful and energetic, and would thrive in a home with children to play with. As young, active puppies, they will need an adopter who can provide them with plenty of exercise, socialization, and training to help them reach their full potential. Ideal Adoptive Home The Paw Patrol pups would do best in a home with experienced dog owners who can continue their training and provide a structured, loving environment. Families with children would be an excellent match, as the puppies seem to enjoy playing and interacting with kids. A home with a securely fenced yard would allow the puppies to safely explore and burn off energy. Adopters should be prepared to invest time and patience into the puppies' continued development and socialization. In summary, these three Paw Patrol pups have had a difficult start, but with the right adopters, they have the potential to become wonderful, well-adjusted companions. Their playful, energetic personalities and need for training make them an ideal match for an experienced family looking to add some furry friends to their home. ##2195278##

Marte

Labrador Retriever

Male, 2 yrs 1 mo

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Marte (aka “Marte de la Calle") was found on the side of a highway in Baja Sur, Mexico. He had been thrown from a moving vehicle. Even though he was in a lot of pain, Marte’s joyful and happy personality was so clear as we scooped him up and took him to the vet. We learned that Marte had two broken back legs - one femur and one knee. Options were surgery or a double amputation. We decided to help him THRIVE and chose surgery and it worked! Marte is one of the fastest pups in the pack and is absolutely full of joy and life. He sits a bit funny, as one of his legs is a bit longer than the other, but to us that makes him even cuter. Marte is a lover of all humans and boy, he is excited to LIVE. He is always happy to see you and will dramatically wiggle his entire body upon greeting and if he is REALLY stoked, he likes to hug you with his “flappers” (aka paws).

Marte has been professionally trained by Flash Dog Training and comes with a few owner lessons too. He can be a bit excitable but is always full of love and joy, never malice. He is approximately 45 lbs and our best guess on his breed is boxer/lab mix. Marte is great with humans of all sizes but because he is pretty excitable, we recommend he goest to a home with kids over 5 and either no dogs or one calm dog. Sometimes because he has some physical limitations, he can get defensive and scared with other dogs but with proper introductions, he will love all of his four-legged doggie friends!Adopters need to be aware that due to his accident, Marte will likely have needs in the regard to the health of his back legs and hips as he gets older.

Please apply to adopt on our website and then we can setup a meet and greet/put you in contact with the foster!
