Story
Hi my name is Aidan! I am a 1 yr old Yellow Labrador mix. I am back at Big Bones through no fault of my own, staying with my foster family. Like most Labs, I have a lot of energy, which I like to burn on walks. Chewing on my toys, and chasing balls is fun too, (although I’m not sure how to bring it back quite yet), and I like following my foster mom around. When I want to relax, I love to be next to people, I am a cuddler with other dogs, if they like to cuddle, too! I love car rides and have mastered jumping into the car, although sometimes I get so excited I don’t wait for the door to open all the way. I get along great with other dogs, and kids… I am house trained. I am also a total goofball (who does not know how big he is), so I bump and run into everything. Please put in an application for me, if you would like to know anything more, I would love to find my furever home!

Story
Berkeley is a 3 year old lab mix! She is super sweet and absolutely LOVES cuddling with her person. She gets along great with cats, but dogs and small kids are iffy. She really is the sweetest dog! She deserves to get more time and attention than I am able to give her at this time!

Story
Gerald is a yellow lab from New Mexico, who came to us as a stray with a broken hind leg. Unfortunately we expect he had had this injury for some time, and it was severe enough and old enough that doctors recommended we amputate his hind leg. Gerald has been doing great on three legs, and he hasn't let it slow him down much. He does zoomies in the yard and sometimes stands on just his two front legs! He is learning to love toys, especially stuffed animals, and loves the couch and playing with his humans. He is good with other dogs but more as a side by side companion than a constant playmate. Gerald has a hard time on hard wood or slippery floors and would appreciate a home with lots of rugs or carpeting. If interested in adopting, please fill out the application at the following link: https://www.wildwestpetrescue.org/adopt Gerald is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet DELTA, the Sweetest Sidekick Ever! This lovable goof is the ultimate cuddle buddy — he’ll follow you everywhere (unless he’s busy hunting grasshoppers or soaking up the sun). He knows “sit,” is learning not to jump when excited, and is fully crate-trained. He lives for walks, toy destruction, stealing dog beds for forced snuggles, and protecting the yard from squirrels. Personal space? Never heard of it. He’s playful, affectionate, and would thrive in an active home or with another dog friend. If you’re looking for unconditional love and a built-in adventure buddy, this sweet boy is ready to be yours!

Story
"Honey is a sweet as honey! She is a 1-year-old cattle dog mix at a nice, 40 pounds, medium-size. Honey is extremely loving, smart, very attentive and eager to learn from people. She likes kids and other dogs, too. Honey is on the timid/submissive side and still learning about living in a home and the world around her. She is still very puppy-like, but her intellect and enthusiasm are helping her learn quickly in her foster home. Honey was saved from a Houston, high intake shelter when her time was up. She had been picked up as a stray. She had a nice behavior report at the shelter and was known for charming shelter volunteers with her army crawls, kisses, and for rolling over for belly rubs❤️. We have no idea who missed out on this beautiful, blue-eyed gem of a girl before, but she’s ready to put it all behind her and find her true forever people. We think she would do well in a home with a more mature canine to learn from and/or humans that have time to work on training and taking her on adventures. Her forever family will be lucky to have her!" Honey is being fostered in Fort Collins, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/honey/.
