Story
MEGAN ✨ 🐶 Age 8 months 🌍 Location: Incline Village 💙 female 🎃 Breed: lab/Border collie/poodle/German shepherd Note: We got her DNA! She has lab, poodle, Border collie and about 30 more breeds! Note: the poodle in her is not enough to prevent shedding 📏 Size: she will be big size ⚖ Weight: 50 pounds now probably will end up at about 55 lbs Healthy: healthy, spayed Nexgarde, dewormed, vaccines, 4 DX, blood test, bordatella 💃Energy: she has loving energy, always happy and playful, she gets along so easy with anyone . 🐶Friends of dogs: she is friendly with the dogs once she gets to know them, at first greet and meet Megan is a little of an outsider and a little cautious but it doesn’t take much time until she feels comfortable. She definitely needs a few minutes to settled into new Environments, but it doesn’t take long. 👧🏽 Children’s friends: At this point, she is afraid of children and will require more training. We are working on it! ⛓Etiquette with leash: Yes, but needs a little bit more confidence, which she is gaining every day. She walks well off leash and does not stray far. She looks back often, she does not want to lose you!. 🥘 Resource MEGAN is a happy dog, always on the move, you notice her often She happily shares toys and food. Maybe a little resource full on her food. She is very obedient when she is spoken to but needs basic training. 📣 Barking/loud: no When someone arrives at the house, they are received with caution. We are still working on getting her to trust people but she is learning. Megan is a sweet dog She definitely will love the runs in the woods or lakes. 🏡 Domestic: Yes 🚙 Good in the car: Yes, calm down in the car. She might whine for a few minutes when we first set off, but she quickly calms down. She has ridden both in a crate in the car and out. TEMPERAMENT MEGAN is an incredibly affectionate dog who loves you as soon you make contact with her . Her energy is high I have cats in my house and she gets very excited. She will need some work to be around cats, but she can learn. I'll keep working on her. UPDATE: She has already learned to be around the cats! She is very smart, eager to please. She whines and howls a bit when food is being prepared or when she is super excited. I have been working on this (I have roommates!) and she has gotten much better. She is learning to be quiet when I tell her to stop. She comes when called. She does not bark a lot. She is very enthusiastic about life. She has been going to dog obedience class and has come a LONG way. She's not very good at heel but she is learning not to pull. She can walk off leash (in the forest, for example) and she will stay with you. She knows sit, lay, stay and knows not to jump on people or items in the house (although she sometimes does it anyway!) Megan is going to be an exceptional dog. I might be hard pressed to give her up at this point, because I have put a lot of energy into turning her into the perfect dog. She will have to go to an exceptional home! 📚RESCUE STORY Megan was born on the streets with 5 other siblings, 2 were run over by a car, 2 disappeared and we found Megan in a Gas station when still a puppy. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses. We are willing to work with people.

She follows the rules, House trained, but she lives outside in a yard. She is really adorable, one you can have beside you all the time. 📚RESCUE STORY Rescued from a lady with 2 other dogs, chained and with severe skin condition. And skinny to the bones. We began the process with Doxi, Simaprica and liver to eat. Now she is in perfect health condition, weights a lot and is ready for her family. Note from foster: If you saw her video, she was in terrible conditions, along with several other dogs. She was chained around her belly and has a deep scar. Yet she is happy and loving and joyful. I am honored to foster this noble girl. She will make an absolutely wonderful and loyal best friend.

✨ Paquita ✨ 😎 Breed: lab/corgi/chihuahua (we are guessing!) Recommend DNA testing 🐶 Age 4 years 🌍 Location: Lake Tahoe NV 💙 Female 💾 Microchipped 📏 Size: Medium ⚖️ Weight: 32 lbs 💃Energy: Playful 🐶Dog Friends: Yes, but she she very insecure at the beginning. She needs time to adapt 👧🏽 Children Friends: Yes – but hasn’t had a life around children, we prefer a young couple or solo for Paquita, because of her shyness and insecure behavior ⛓Leash etiquette: Not secure 🥘 Resource guarding: Happily shares toys but with food, she is always on the watch if a dog comes near her plate but she allows you near her food. She is very obedient when spoken to, but she runs into her place where she feels secure . 📣 Bark/noisy: Will bark when someone comes to house and sometimes when she is excited to see people she knows She is not good meeting new dogs but once she does, she is very playful 🏡 Housebroken: Yes ⛓ Leash etiquette: No ! 🚙 Good in car: Yes, calm in the car TEMPERAMENT Paquita is an incredibly sweet and loving girl who adores playing, chasing a ball or stick or running around with other dogs when she knows the pack. She is most of the time in her hut, secure place. At the foster home she lives inside and outside. 📚RESCUE STORY We found Paquita chained with a 70 year old lady. She had severe skin problems and had an injury in her leg . She was found looking for food in the trash. She is in a foster home at the moment looking for her family. She would suit active people / needs couple or people with friendly, approachable dogs who will allow her to accept them when she is ready / she needs a lot of affection but once she decides you are OK, she is the absolute most loving, sweet and grateful dog. She is very special and we need special people for her! Is it you? Note from her foster: Paquita entered my heart before I even met her from the videos of her rescue and rehabilitation. Paquita has a presence and a knowledge--she is deep, you can tell. She had a very rough start, yet she is still open to new things, new people, new places. There is a joy in her that she is ready to give to others. I'm madly in love with her; she will go to the best possible home.

Story
Meet Bruh! This sweet lab mama was sadly found by animal control very pregnant and tied to a tree. She had a litter of 10 pups in the shelter, but wound up losing 3 because the shelter is no place to raise a family. Take a look at the difference a stable loving environment can do for a mama and her babes. This mama is doing such a good job caring for her babies and while she still has a lot of work to do in the coming weeks, she will be ready for a break and looking for a home of her own in about 6 weeks. If you are interested in meeting Bruh, please fill out an application at boxersandbuddies.comWe require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions. If you are interested in meet or adoption me, please fill out an adoption application at www.boxersandbuddies.com
