Story
A family friend was moving out of state and couldn’t take Dakota. We took her in a year ago and she just needs more space and training than we can give her with 3 children under 5 years old, a full time job, and a part time job. She’s great with kids, is house trained, and loving. She just needs more attention, space, and training than we can give her. She’s energetic, excited to be around people, and must have some hound in her because she can sniff out a squirrel or rodent with no issues! She’s about 3-4 years old and medium-small in size.

Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO My name is Joey, and I am a little shy. I have some trauma from my past, that has left me slightly unsure of new people and other dogs. If you give me treats and a little time, I will come around quickly. Dogs make me a bit nervous, and I will require a lot of visits to warm up to them. I really just want a little love, and a nice place to land.  Once we are friends, we will do so many activities. I really love to play! Walks, Runs, Hikes, anything you want to do! I am a small girl, only 42 pounds, so I am a perfect size!  Can you give me a chance?      Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation. Sassy is a loving dog. Despite being larger she wants to be a lapdog. She'd like to be the only dog, as she loves being the center of attention, but it's not required. Sassy picks tricks up quickly and is eager to please. **Due to the overwhelming amount of intakes, some pets may or may not be altered. Once we have a commitment to adopt the adoption fee will cover the procedure of your pet.**
