Adoption Fee: $700 Meet Alpine, the 8 week old Labrador Retriever mix with a personality as bright as a snowflake and a tail that wags like it’s auditioning for a role in a rom-com! This little bundle of joy was found abandoned with her sister Aspen, but don’t worry—she’s now living the good life in foster care, where her days are filled with puppy shenanigans and epic cuddle sessions. If you’re looking for a furry friend who can turn any mundane day into a snowball fight of fun, Alpine is your gal! Alpine is a professional leaf pouncer and grass nibbler, with a PhD in Zoomies. Every morning, she wakes up at 7 AM, ready to tackle her to-do list of playtime, breakfast, and more playtime—because who wouldn’t want a career that involves chasing tail and collecting belly rubs? After a full morning of frolicking, she’ll happily crash in your lap, dreaming of her next big adventure—like finding out if the couch is as comfy as it looks. With her puppy eyes that could melt even the iciest hearts, Alpine is looking for a family ready to embrace the magic of winter with her. She’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly, making her the ultimate companion for both outdoor escapades and cozy movie nights. If you think you can keep up with her puppy energy and shower her with love, Alpine is waiting to make your home a little brighter and a lot funnier! Daily Routine: Aspen and Alpine, the dynamic duo, wake up around 7:00 AM, ready to embrace the day! They head outside for some energetic playtime with their big foster sister, followed by breakfast after an hour of frolicking. Their meals consist of a mix of canned and dry puppy food, served three times a day. This playful pattern continues throughout the day, with plenty of naps and cuddles in between. At night, they sleep together in a cozy pen, either in a bed or an open crate, dreaming of their next adventure. Personality Changes: When Aspen and Alpine first arrived, they were a bit unsure, missing their mom and littermates. However, they quickly adapted to the warmth, food, and love they received. Now, Alpine is the curious explorer, always ready to chase her foster sister around the yard, while Aspen is the ultimate cuddle bug, always seeking closeness and reassurance. Interactions with Other Dogs: They have been raised with a big foster sister and are comfortable around dogs of all sizes. As they are friendly and well-socialized joining kids and cats in a new home should be a no-brainer. Playfulness and Energy: Both pups are relaxed yet playful, engaging in fun without being overly energetic. They enjoy playtime but also appreciate their downtime, making them great companions for a variety of home environments. Housetraining and Behaviors: Aspen and Alpine are learning their housetraining skills and are mostly successful when given ample outside breaks. While Alpine can be a little nibbly when she wants attention, Aspen is not much of a chewer, and neither dog is particularly vocal. Ideal Home: The perfect home for Aspen and Alpine would be ones that provides plenty of attention and companionship. Ideally, they should go to homes where Aspen can enjoy lap time and Alpine can continue her outdoor adventures. Favorite Moments: One of the best things about fostering Aspen and Alpine is witnessing their loving relationship. They look to each other as their safe haven, creating a heartwarming dynamic that’s a joy to be a part of and knowing that love will help them flourish in their individual homes. Alpine is only an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Kids should be over the age of 6. December 17, 2024, 5:00 pm
