Story
#A5665357 Meet Charlie a 1-year-3-month-old supermutt mix with the cutest folded ears, an adorably skinny snoot and a unique orange and cream freckled coat!  Likely part lab and cattle dog (and maybe more!), he’s a happy-go-lucky boy who’s eager to please and full of energy. Charlie’s already mastered the basics like sit, shake, stay, and come, and he's very treat motivated, making him a quick learner. He may act a bit puppyish at times, especially when distracted by all the exciting things around him, but he’s friendly and calm once he feels comfortable. Charlie is cautious with new people, but with the right introductions, he’s ready to become your best friend! He’s doing great on the leash and shows clear signs of potty training, so he’s ready to go home and fit right in! Plus, he’s curious about other pups, so could make a wonderful pet sibling—he’d do especially well with larger dogs. Could Charlie be the loyal, loving, and playful companion you’ve been looking for? 1 year 3 month orange and white lab and cattle dog mix 29 pound neutered male Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 11/22/24 as an owner surrender - but we have no notes, and no idea why, as Charlie is absolutely delightful! looks to be part lab and cattle dog, maybe more!  has sweet folded ears, a cute narrow snoot, and a super unique orange freckled coat such a happy go lucky cutie  super smart young boy - has clearly had training in all the basics - sit, shake, stay, come - and is very treat motivated, so could easily learn more!  shows clear signs of potty training  very curious about other pups - large dogs OK still young, acts a bit younger than his age - charmingly puppylike, a bit easily distracted cautious with new people but calm and friendly once he feels safe - just needs a little time and the right introductions!  ok on leash, just needs to learn to follow along more closely   CHARLIE’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/onPM-UR9ZAo   For more information, contact volunteer Sandy at  sangreenca@yahoo.com ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
Juana is a riot! This petite redhead is 55lbs, 3 years and bursting with personality. She’s a little cheeky in a very charming way. Juana is a clever girl, affectionate and deeply endearing. She wins the hearts of everyone she meets with her romantic leans or silly personality. She is known to rest her chin on your elbow while you're working, knock over the water bowl and sprint off, or melt into your lap for a good rub down. Juana has beautiful leash manners, is house trained and crate trained -- often putting herself in her crate for naps. She is fostered in a home with large and small dogs. She plays from time to time, but mostly loves to sun bathe and lounge around. Although she enjoys her walks, hikes, car rides, and errands, she is medium to low energy around the house and a pretty low-maintenance dog once she's in a routine. Juana is ready to meet her forever family. To meet Juana, please fill out an adoption form on dogcoalitionla.org/adopt. Updates about her and other dogs can be seen on Instagram, @dogcoaltionla.

Her foster dad reports that she’s very polite and well mannered. To meet Arya, please fill out an adoption form on dogcoalitionla.org/adopt and follow @dogcoaltionla for updates!

Story
At long last, Lana and Lincoln are finally available for adoption! These two siblings are almost a year old, so they are still pups. They are bonded and must go and stay together. They will require a patient owner, who has the time and ability to start from scratch as far as potty, behavior, leash, etc. training. These two were confiscated from a neglect situation and as far as we know, living in a car with other dogs as well as children. They went from there to here and although staff and volunteers have gotten them out into the play yard as much as possible, they’ve kind of grown up in not so ideal circumstances. This means that their transition from here will be glorious, yet challenging. They are still not going out of their kennel to use the bathroom, and this is no doubt caused by their former living situation. We can assure you that after all of this is corrected in a new home, it will be 100% worth it! These two goofy pups are so loving and crave human attention. Although they are strong and not, yet behavior trained, we think they would be good with respectful kids and even other dogs (meet and greet a must) Lana and Lincoln are Catahoula mixes, which is a loyal, protective, southern breed, that are good family dogs, but not suitable for small spaces, like apartments, condos or homes with no yard. This breed needs some space to thrive and given their former circumstances, deserve that space to finally be the pups they were meant to be.

Story
Gaia is a stunning and winsome sweetheart. She is lovable when you first meet her. She immediately comes over to you and snuggles with you showing her belly to get some rubs. She also has such a playful personality that she’ll even flip dog treats in the air like they are toys to chase. You can expect to have a great game of fetch with Gaia and she will even bring the ball back, dropping it to roll straight to your feet. She’s such an amazing and smart girl. She also is quite the sleuth as well checking out her environment with sniffs and full investigations. Gaia would make an amazing dog for someone looking for a loving, joyful companion to take to the park and play a great game of fetch. Or a good buddy to snuggle with at home while watching TV.
