Story
Dolly, spayed female, 3y-5-m-old, 44-lbs If you would like to give DOLLY a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application Dolly has an easy-going temperament, very playful and lively. She loves people and is sociable around other dogs and stays calm when meeting cats. She is potty trained and crate trained to sleep overnight; not a chewer or barker. Dolly is most suitable for an outdoor loving family, and/or as an addition to family with dog. Dolly’s rescue story: Driving home during a stormy night, the rescuer spotted a dark moving object in-between the traffic lanes. When she stopped her car to check it out, she found Dolly moving toward her slowly, wagging her tail. She didn’t seem injured but apparently had difficulty moving. Dolly followed the rescuer to her car and off to the hospital they went. The doctor’s diagnostic was that Dolly simply suffered from starvation. Under the care of her foster family, Dolly regained her hearth and received proper training. But being a dog with black color coat has hardly any chance to be adopted by local people. Hopefully Dolly can start her new life aboard. Hachi, spayed male, 3 Year-6 months old, 40 Lbs. If you would like to give HACHI a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application About Hachi: Hachi is a super sweet young pup, very sociable, would greet everyone he met with a big smile. He adapted and thrived quickly in foster care; he has become a devoted companion to the humans he bonded with. Being friendly and affectionate, he can easily befriend strangers and kids; also gets along well with dogs. He is food motivated, will wait patiently for his turn at meal time; never fight over food with other dogs. He loves to eat and gets excited before taking a walk, but always heed to command well. His favorite pastime is playing fetch, car riding and his daily walks. Hachi has Shiba Inu’s temperament and appearance in his mixed breed; he will do best for experienced and strong-willed dog owners, Hachi would give 100% of himself to reciprocate. Hachi’s rescue story: Hachi was raised since he is a puppy by a factory owner as a watch dog. But his owner hardly paid any attention to him. Around two years old during his puberty, Hachi was once lost, until the rescuer found him as a stray in poor physical condition. Since then, Hachi was neutered and treated for skin problem, followed by foster family’s loving care and training for future adoption. Story
Meet Bessie. She is 28 pounds of energy! Her face looks like a Lab mix but she really is just a small lowrider and a whirlwind of energy. Mostly housebroken and does well in her crate and has fairly good leash skills. Bessie has a ton of energy and would love an active household. She is young and still needs to learn some boundaries as she likes to jump on people and other dogs. She has a few dogs she likes to play with, but would do best as an only dog and to stay away from dog parks as her spunky energy doesn’t always do well with others. She is a fun little gal and perfect for urban living and adventures. She could use some training, but she will make somebody the perfect buddy to go on treks and explore the world. She does calm down after exercise and once she does she’s a snuggle bug. If you are interested in meeting please fill out an application at our website: www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.
