My heart went out to both of them, and I knew I needed to step in. I decided to take the puppy under my wing, determined to provide him with the love and stability he so desperately needed. I named him Scooter, and it didn’t take long for me to realize what a gem he was. Despite his young age, Scooter exuded a calmness that was rare for a puppy, and his affectionate nature melted my heart. He thrived around people and was especially gentle with children, making him the perfect candidate for a forever home. His friendly demeanor extended beyond humans; he got along well with other dogs and, surprisingly, even approached cats with a hopeful wag of his tail. Scooter was an energetic spirit who adored car rides and playing with his toys, showcasing his playful yet gentle character that would make him a loyal family member.
