This pretty girl is Roxy. She has been in our care for awhile. She is almost 2 and has been through a lot. Her eye developed ulcerations and it had to be removed. It doesn't seem to have affected her at all as she is super friendly and playful and has become another of our pirate queens. If you want, you can buy her a pirate patch and maybe a cute bandana on her head, teach her to say AARRGH - we won't judge you! She could be a social media star and have a billion followers. Or just delight and amuse your family for the next 15 years. We don't know what the future holds for her, but we do know that she is a happy girl who is looking for a home and we hope you take her into consideration as your new family member. Roxy is about 2 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. She feell behind in her exercise routine after she had surgery on her elbow. It is an area that takes awhile to heal but she has and is doing great and dropping weight now that she can move about freely. As she is a Lab mix we think she could become a great walking/running partner. She needs more room to move around and exercise, and big comfy beds (or maybe the couch?), and big bowls. She will give you big hugs and big love too!! She loves people of many sizes but she doesn't like a crate. She is perfectly happy on her bed on the floor. She is potty trained and leash trained. We are a little in love with her adorable white front 'ankle socks'. Look at these eyes saying please take this good girl? Roxy will come to you spayed and fully vetted. Hunk is a 2.5 year old black Labrador, probably a mix, intact. He was acquired as a 7 month old puppy; the story provided was that he was in training to be a guide dog for the blind but failed training due to anxiety issues. Hunk is very friendly with other dogs and wants to play. He doesn't fetch but likes to run and tug. He can be off leash but his recall isn't great, though he's not a bolter, just a selective hearer. Hunk lived with two cats and has lived part-time with a Chihuahua mix. He's proven to be good with cats and small dogs; he wants to play but will back off. Behavioral problems: Hunk is anxious, afraid of loud noises and traffic. He startles easily, and if on leash, will pull very hard to get to safety (home). He's nervous about strangers but easily soothed. Outside of his anxiety, Hunk has a delightful temperament, and it seems like most of his behavioral issues could be fairly easily resolved with a change in environment and companionship, which we cannot provide.

She is sensitive and elegant - and fast! She can sit, shake, and lay down. She loves to chew on her bone and play with her Kong. She can be a bit nippy and territorial. She interacts and plays with our small dog just fine. Pearl is crate trained and we use this method when we leave the house. She eats a grain free diet - typically Turkey and sweet potato. She hasn't done well with chicken in the past, seems to upset her stomach. Pearl definitely needs to be placed with someone who has a lot of property because she is high energy. Our family hopes she will find a good home. Potty trained. Territorial around my kids friends. Needs a loving home with lots of room to run and play."
