Story
Sex: FemaleBreed: Pitt/Lab xEstimated Date of Birth : 07/12/2018Like the Phoenix that she is Bailey, formerly Ayanna, rose from the ashes of her previous life. Shot, paralyzed and left to die with her puppies in a field near Visalia. This sweet girl overcame all odds, raised happy and healthy puppies and eventually found the most wonderful adoptive home and mom over 4 years ago. What should have been an amazing rescue story and life has ended in tragedy. Bailey’s adoptive mom suddenly and unexpectedly lost her life. To say we are heartbroken is an understatement. Such an amazing human has left our world and Bailey begins her rescue journey again. Bailey is what a survivor looks like! She is proof that no matter the horrors a dog has seen they will come back a stronger better version of themselves. She has never let her past define her and has an amazing temperament with all humans including children and every dog she’s met. Shes an ambassador for her breed and so incredibly gentle and sweet. We are determined to find her the kind of amazing home she sadly lost. Bailey is paralyzed from the waist down and relies on a wheelchair for her extended mobility. Shes looking for a family willing to provide a wheelie pup with the additional care they need and accept her physical differences as they don’t make her any less of an amazing family member. If you’re looking to adopt a true survivor and a really amazing dog please consider giving Bailey her forever home. Story
Sex: MaleBreed: Labrador Retriever xEstimated Date of Birth : 01/19/2024Some stories are meant to be told and we hope that by telling them they’ll end with the happy ending we’re all wishing for! This is the story of Kite and Chipi two dogs in the sea of neglected and unwanted dogs who are beating the odds. They are the faces of perseverance and proof that if enough good humans come together lives can not only be saved they can be forever changed!Part of a cruelty case back in July, Kite and Chipi were two of six dogs living in deplorable conditions. Starved and neglected the only life they knew was one of abuse. Humans were not kind and the humans responsible for them could care less if they lived or died. All dogs were seized by animal control and the owners now have 7 counts of animal cruelty filed against them. This was just the very beginning of Kite and Chipi’s story. In the shelter they learned to trust and they started to grow. But sadly our public shelters are short on both time and space and eventually with no adoption interest Kite and Chipi were euthanasia listed. After overcoming so much there was no way anyone was letting their story end at the shelter! With the quick yes of an amazing foster home Kite and Chipi got their 2nd chance and they’ve never looked back. They are thriving and ready to truly start the beginning of the lives they were meant to have. Both dog friendly and gaining trust and confidence every day they’d love homes who will cherish them and treat them like the family members they deserve to be. Active and playful they have their whole lives ahead of them and are ready to go on this adventure called life. Are you up to showing them how amazing life can be? That can be adopted together or by separate families. Their story was meant to be told and they’re ready to have the happy ending we’ve been promising! Story
Very loving dog. She loves to give hugs and crawl on the recliner with you and sleep. Very good watch dog. Her bark goes right through you. She doesn’t get along with our female Australian but loves our pug. Too hard to keep the two big dogs separated all the time. Cats crawl all over her, just don’t put treats in front of her with other dogs around. She wants them all. We adopted her from our neighbor who passed away. She sleeps in the bathroom at night nice a quietly. Loves visiting people and walking, especially in the park.
