My family and I have made the EXTREMELY difficult decision to put our dog Buddy up for adoption. He is a great dog, but our hectic schedules and lifestyles don’t allow us to give him what he needs. Buddy was a shelter dog. He’s approximately two years old and we were told that he is a Jindo and Lab Retriever mix. He has been indoor dog since we adopted him, is great with people, kids, and our other dog. We trust him completely with our five year old and he plays great with her and our nephews. He is very vocal and jumpy but not aggressive. He’s VERY afraid of loud noises and is terrified of fireworks. We love him but he deserves more. He is high energy and stubborn and needs an owner with more time and a more active lifestyle that will give him the opportunity to run and get his wiggles out. He is neutered, chipped and has all his shots.

No out of state adoptions or Northern California will not be considered at all Los Angeles area is off the table , LA county is no go as well -- Prefer Orange County area - Parts of Different cities will be acceptable Lab mix around 20 pounds This is Henry a 10 month old male lab mix ! He is currently located in Irvine CA and looking for his forever home.He LOVES to play with his toys and go for walks and watch the squirrels on the trees and at every chance he gets he will sit for some ear rubs. Although we would love to have him in our home we have two dogs already and don’t have the space to sustain him being with us long term :( While we are fostering him we have potty trained and crate trained him. He loves going on walks and easily adapted to leash training as well as house training! At our recent trips to the vet we have gotten him fully vaccinated and he is not neutered yet. Vet has told us he is full grown at 20 pounds but is still working to gain some more weight. Henry is a really shy and timid pup that needs a home with a lot of patience as he is scared of majority of men. We have a male in the home that with lots of patience and a few weeks has earned Henry’s love and affection. He’s never bit anyone but will give a small warning growl if his space is invaded before he is ready. He LOVES other dogs and happily will play with any dog of any size. We haven’t introduced him to any cats or children but he needs very calm and gentle surroundings. Since having him in our home we have been trying to work on his separation anxiety but it’s still a work in progress. We’ve been able to leave him along for 1-2 hours and he’s done great.

Rescued as a stray on St Patrick’s day, thus Lucky! He has a lovely temperament and is shy initially. Athletic, Affectionate, playful and endearing. The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog, please visit our website to complete an adoption application. It is in the ADOPTION folder at the top of our home page. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. The adoption fee for a puppy is generally $495 - $525. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so.
