I rescued Chase off the streets of Hattiesburg MS during COVID, so around 2021, and at that time the vet thought he was approximately 9 months of age. After my husband passed 6/18/2025, I had to sell everything and move to CA to live with family. With my health issues, I am unable to exercise Chase as he should be. He is housebroken, loves to be with his people constantly, and just wants to please you. He can be introduced to other dogs, prefers to be the only dog in the home. My desire is to meet the person that would like to adopt Chase, let them build a bond while he stays with me, before releasing him to the new owners, this way he can build trust of the new person/persons, and he will be happy to go with them. He is very smart, and I did a lot of work to get him to where he trusts me in everything. One thing, he is a lab, but someone must have used water as a punishment, so he is very fearful of water. To clean him, I purchased a dog grooming vacuum and he loves being groomed.

GILLIAN IS JUST AN AVERAGE LOOKING TAN DOG WHEN YOU SEE HIS PICTURE BUT YOU HAVE TO MEET HIM TO SEE HIS SPECIAL PERSONALITY SPARKLING THRU. HE WOULD LOVE TO PLAY HIKE, BIKE OR RUN WITH HIS SPECIAL PERSON AND LIVE A FULL LIFE AND PLEDGE HIS LOYALTY TO HIS FAMILY. THIS BOYS FAVORITE PASSTIME IS THE WATER, SWIMMING, SPLASHING AND ENJOYING HIS PLAYTIME. WE HAD HIM NEUTERED, CHIPPED, ALL HIS SHOTS AND HE IS A HEALTHY TWO YEAR OLD AT ABOUT 50 LPS. Frisco and his brother Gillian were rescued from the shelter just in time before they were scheduled to be euthanized. They were so sweet and happy to be saved, instantly showing their gratitude with wagging tails and loving hearts. Frisco is now a happy, energetic boy with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. This handsome Retriever/Lab mix is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate—he’ll chase toys in the yard one minute and curl up in your lap the next. Bursting with energy, but calms down for attention and quiet petting. He is also great with other dogs. Frisco absolutely lives for walks, treats, and splashing in the water—swimming is his favorite thing in the world! With his loyal spirit and cuddly nature, Frisco is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and just wants to be part of a loving family. Frisco has the personality and disposition of a golden retriever. He will be easily housetrained because he goes in and out of the house. If you have a big yard, a big heart, and maybe a pool or a hose to play in, Frisco might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to give his whole heart to his forever home. Frisco is currently being fostered near Rancho Cucamonga CA and must be picked up from there.
