Story
Hi there. My name is PARIS and here is a little info about me:Breed: Lab mixAge: 4.5 years oldGender: FemaleWeight: 35 kgsHeight: 62 cmHighlights: affectionate, playful, like toys An affectionate, energetic girl looking for a good time. Quite playful. That's my singles ad. Heehee. My rescuer found me in a high school garden in Turkey with my 7 little babies. I actually was born into the same school garden, but had a car accident one day. The teachers who gave me food and water had me treated, but since I wasn’t spayed, I had already gotten pregnant. When my puppies started to grow, guardians of the students complained about me with false accusations and it caused my path to cross with my real rescuers. They found me a fenced garden where I can be safe. They are bringing food and water everyday, but I’m bored here because I love my human companion. The happiest times for me are when my rescuers bring me raw chicken, egg and dog biscuits. You could say I am spoiled, but for my lack of being able to interact with my beloved humans as I so desire. I love being petted and to hang out with people: https://youtu.be/futYesYv48Y. That's what us dogs were designed for, right?Though I will guard my space from another dog, once properly introduced, I am fine. I can be a bit picky who my good doggie friends will be, so proper intro is vital (large males especially.) I'm not an alpha and will get along afterward.  https://youtu.be/7mYppnNWYtM.I really like chewing on play toys and I can be left alone for hours without issue. I'm such a good girl. I do get excited easily though, so a bit of training will help that.I'd enjoy a fairly active home. Maybe long hikes in the forest or runs on the beach. I hear those are splendid. Absolutely we need our cuddle time too, so I can be, oh so close to you. Energy Level: High Fears: None observed. Please be patient during my transition. No prey drive observed. I get along with:Dogs: yes, bit choosy, video soonCats: UnknownKids: Unknown Training: some leashworkLeash skills: I’m comfortable on the leash, but please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Not yet. Please be prepared to help me learn! No crate training. Health notes: Xrays have revealed I was shot with some buckshot. It is causing no harm, so the vet said best to leave it alone.I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##1653537##

Story
Good day everyone. My name is Willow and here is some info on me:Breed: Labrador Retriever/Rottie/Pittie mixAge: 4 yrsGender: femaleWeight: 85 lbsHeight: tbdHighlight(s): sweet, people loving, alert, happy, eager to learn. I am a super sweet girl who loves people. My owners dropped me at the shelter in Texas, stating I am protective of my space, but it really seems to be because they are about to have a baby and don't want to bother with training me. Sad.Don't you just love my sleek black fur. Yup, I'm a happy labbie something, something, something mix... LOL. Best of all worlds. Grin.I have typical young dog energy. Toned down a tad now that I am 4 though. Now, while I do love people, I will bark at first if someone new comes to the house. That is my alert to my owner, hey someone is here. Once I see my owner is fine with them though, then I am friendly too. Being treat motivated helps. A morsel of cheese or other goodie and I am mush in your hands.I won the doggie jackpot being fostered by a dog trainer!!! Being with my foster I have developed confidence and have learned how to behave appropriately around other dogs. With proper introductions I seem to be good with pretty much all dogs now, Yay!!! I would love a forever home that will continue to set structure and boundaries to make me a confident doggo. Just give me consistent reinforcement & encouragement and I know I will be the dream dog you desire. My former owners kept trying to force interactions I was not comfortable with, since they just didn't have the experience to handle me. I just needed time to adjust and a bit of training and I am a new GIRL!!!. Truly, I am just a honey bunny, who you'll enjoy cuddling. Oh, I'm also already house-trained. Bonus score. Good day. My name is GARY (Boji) and here is a little info about me:Breed: Lab/Saluki mix (Baladi dog)Age: 2-1/2 yrsGender: maleWeight: 55 lbsHeight: 24-1/2 inchesHighlight(s): sweet, loves food, easy personality, playful CHEEEEECK IIIIT OOOOOUT. I am making leaps and bounds recovering.  https://youtube.com/shorts/0JSmngv_GD0, https://youtube.com/shorts/C2P-zEOdY0s, https://youtube.com/shorts/JsL2TrOipzw. NEW START IN LIFE. I have come a long way and just need to strengthen up more. You'll see I am such a happy boy and sweet too. Can you provide me the necessary time to regain my body strength and relearn where my leg is for movement. I am sure I could eventually run again. Videos show my progress. Here are the most recent. https://youtu.be/7S49SDJQBBo, https://youtu.be/ejMJoPSq1eEhttps://youtu.be/R9lwbXkdcGs, https://youtu.be/7hdroWgtlu4 SUPERB UPDATE: I can walk again. I had my surgery and it is working, I am no longer paralyzed. Now, I just need to strengthen up. Please keep watch for updated videos of my progress. Are you my nurturing family to help me get back to full stature?Check out my vids. See how happy I am. Here are a couple more: https://youtube.com/shorts/l6Wd8p3YqOE?feature=share,https://youtube.com/shorts/ybL7kOV2u7Q?feature=share,  https://youtube.com/shorts/WzC8L-1VQbo?feature=share, https://youtu.be/56N2TYpDDjI, https://youtube.com/shorts/PQyBDVC5nXA?si=4LobPhAJPpFDRfFmMore to come. I am so sweet and just love life. My mission in life will be to love you up and make you smile. One morning in Egypt, my rescuer, who feeds all us street dogs found me injured and unable to walk! So it's most likely I was hit by a car. This is quite common here, sadly. They don't even try to avoid us dogs. I was not depressed by this situation, as I wanted to live, so my rescuers didn't give up on my life. They consulted at number of vets here, but they didn't feel confident about doing surgery to help me walk again. They finally checked with a specialist & verified that they could possibly do a couple surgeries to fix me enough to rehab walking again, at least with one of my rear legs. I do have movement in it: https://youtube.com/shorts/IpjMJLi-yRs, https://youtube.com/shorts/cfcp80bTSQk. My x-rays are included. Maybe a Canada specialist will have even better ideas.I love food, so should be easy to motivate for any training, like learning to use a wheelchair and walk with you on leash, for example. They say I have such a good heart and am a good natured pup.It is rather boring for me here, as I am stuck in an apartment all day, as life is not kind to any dogs here, but even worse for a disabled dog. Hoping you are ready for me, so I can get to Canada and live a real life, as a dog should.I get along well with others: https://youtube.com/shorts/hrQyd81lDLw and display no aggressive tendencies at all. Awaiting a video of me with other dogs. No idea how I'd be with cats or kids, never been around them. I'm pretty easy going though, so given proper intro, I could probably do well. Plus if the kitty is fast, I couldn't keep up. LOL.I am aware of my bladder and bowels and will move away from my sleeping spot to go. So, maybe some pee pads for now will work.If you are looking for a snuggle buddy and someone to share meaningful strolls with, I'm yer guy. Story
Hu all, my name is Sasha. I am a super sweet 1 year old female lab mix who is in madly in love with life. I almost didn't have one as my siblings and I were found dumped in a stream in Mexico where we were close to drowning when we were rescued.  I am a very loving, playful, and curious girl with a contagious energy that brightens up any home. I love playing with people and other dogs and am always up for a game of chase or learning a new trick. Outdoor adventures are my favorite. There's nothing like feeling the breeze in my fur while exploring new trails and discovering the world's secrets. So an active home where I can go on hikes will suit me best.  But after all that action, I love nothing more than taking a good nap, cuddled up next to you on the couch. My caretaker says I am smart and quick to learn and a star student in anything I set her mind to. Whether it's mastering basic commands or surprising you with my problem-solving skills, I am always ready for a new challenge.  But what truly sets me apart is my boundless sweetness. I love receiving affection and spending quality time with my person. I am very sociable with other dogs, I adore children and lives for cuddles. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who is full of love and energy then I am the perfect choice for you. I am spayed and fully vaccinated but don't have a microchip as they aren't available in Mexico. My adoption fee is $800. ##2073526##
