Story
Ruby is approximately 2 yro, fully vetted and heart worm negative. She showed up one day in August, I’m assuming abandoned because nobody ever responded to my post. Ruby is smart and knows many commands. She loves to play and can entertain herself with toys and balls, but she would love to hangout with you and do some fun activities, and she loves the water. She rides well in the vehicle. Ruby loves other dogs, but small ones may not love her energy. If you have a cat that is dog savy, she may be fine. She met the neighbors before I confined her and was friendly with children and adults. Ruby doesn’t bark a lot. No reaction to vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, or vehicles driving by. Ruby is confined to the sunroom with full access to the doggie door and she has never had an accident in the house. She has a crate to sleep in, but I don’t close the door. I have videos available of Ruby.

Story
Hi My name is Zuke! I've been my mom's adventure buddy since she saw me at a shelter one day - the last little guy in a litter- about seven years ago now. My mom always jokes about how I'm her "gentle giant;" although she's pretty tough on rules as I've been raised around babies, toddlers, children, other dogs and an old handicapped cat. My mom has been seeing a lot of doctors for the last few years and knows I'll do better somewhere stable. And if the adoption fee is high- My mom might be a little melodramatic. She thought she had a solid home for me and the guy left me in an abandoned house and didn't even tell her. I wasn't scared though. I knew mama would come get me. And it wasn't even but a few hours. But the temperature hit record lows that night? I'm pretty sure she built an entire Army style fort and survival shelter out of construction debris and lawn furniture so she could sleep outside with me. she didn't have to though. So just ask her about it if so:)

Story
We adopted Bram a week ago from an animal shelter. He was found on the street with no history. He had a very calm demeanor, and he interacted our four young children well. Bram most of the time lets our children play with him and there has been no food aggression. However, as we have interacted the last week, he clearly has experienced some trauma that makes him skittish and nervous at times. He nipped our a neighbor kid on our street, and has charged a couple of our children when they inadvertantly surprised him. Overall, he is a great dog, but our family and lifestyle are not right for him. We think that Bram would do better in a home and neighborhood/property that did not have many children. Bram enjoys walks, playing, and snuggling. We have not had a problem with house training. Bram is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, is neutered, and just tested negative for heart worm.
