Story
This gorgeous girl was found wandering the streets in North Little Rock. Found during a full moon, our lovely Luna is just the right size at 35 pounds and is an absolute SWEETHEART! We believe she is a very mature one-year old and has a beautiful jet black coat, accented with four white feet, a nice white blaze on her chest and a little tip of white on her curly tail! Luna is playful, loving, obedient, house trained, leash trained and loves going to the pet store in the car with her foster mom. She sleeps all night in her foster’s spare bedroom without being crated and is perfectly well behaved. Luna also enjoys being outside in the back yard and although there is no other dog living with her, she has a doggie friend that comes over every few days for playtime and loves that ... so another dog would be good, but she doesn't have to have another dog.Luna's foster mom has taught her to "sit" and "come". She is great with people and dogs and although she has been around children very little, this girl is going to be great with kids. She is just your perfect all-around family pet! Although Luna is not what we would consider a guard dog, she will bark when something is out of place, but she uses her bark sparingly, only barking when she feels it is absolutely necessary! The only thing we continue to work on with Luna is her excitement when she first sees you as she likes to bounce around and jump up to get as close to you as possible. But she is quickly learning to respect boundaries and improves every single day!All of Luna's vetting has been completed, spay, rabies, microchip, and she is also heartworm negative and received a 6-month injection of heartworm preventative (ProHeart6). So she's ready to go!If you are interested in this little lovebug, don't delay! Complete your application today, the link is just below Adoption fee is $150. With Luna, you will not only be getting a super dog, but all the vetting and her Foster Mom is throwing in even more that Luna has acquired while being in her home, treats, toys, etc., that will make her transition easy-peasy! As with all of our adoptions, you get a 14-day trial to make sure it's the perfect match. To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Story
Birdie was a stray that came up to doggie daycare. Her owner never came for her. Birdie is a wonderful pup that is very loving and fun. We believe her to be around 2 years old. She is still active, but can also just chill. Birdie listens good, gets along with other dogs, and seems ok with cats. She even likes her foster's cows (though she does like to roll in the cow patties). Birdie would make a great companion for anyone! She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and ready for her forever home!To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Story
Delta is a beautiful 3-year-old lab mix with a heart full of love despite her tough beginnings. Rescued from a heartbreaking situation where she spent her early life chained, Delta carries a small scar on her leg as a reminder of her past, but she doesn’t let that define her.Though a bit shy when meeting new people, Delta’s gentle nature shines through once she feels safe. She's learning to enjoy the world around her, especially the joy of walks on a leash and basic manners. Delta gets along well with other dogs and has shown little interest in cats, making her a versatile companion.Delta has also tested positive for heartworms, but she’s currently undergoing treatment and on her way to recovery. This special girl is ready for a loving home where she can continue to heal and thrive. Could that be with you?Give Delta the second chance she deserves—she’ll repay you with a lifetime of loyalty and love.To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Story
Hello, my name is Jasmine. I am a sweet playful girl who is so grateful to have been found by this rescue. I was dumped in a field far away. I get along great with cats and dogs of all sizes. I am learning to trust people. I am crate train and working on walking on a leash but as with any puppy I will still need more training. I am your explorer, if you want to go for long walks, I’m your girl. I would need a fenced backyard as I just love to be outside playing with my siblings and toys. Has been spayed and up to date on her shots and is HW negative. If you are interested in giving me a loving wonderful forever home, please contact and fill out an adoption application for me with this rescue at www.arkansaschihuahuarescue.org Please note I am in Central Arkansas. If you want to meet me, you will need to meet me in the central Arkansas area. Please apply for Jasmine at www.arkansaschihuahuarescue.org
