Story
Happy was rescued a year ago by us. My Husband is quite sick and requires more work. I am unable to take care of this energetic dog with walks and activities she needs. She takes a little time to get used to other people, but once she does, she is a happy, loving, fun dog. She has been to obedience training and knows many commands. She loves the outdoors, running. Good with a single person young couple or family with teens.

Story
Hi there! My name is Ethall, and I’m on a mission to find my forever home. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and why I think we could be the perfect match! My journey so far started with me and my siblings being surrendered to animal control. It was scary and very loud there, but the people were very nice. They contacted Central Arizona Animal Rescue and arranged for them to take us in and give us the care we needed. When I first arrived, I was in pretty rough shape, we were underweight, with poor skin and a distended belly from parasites. But at Central Arizona Animal Rescue we got all the food we could eat, we got medicated baths for our skin, and they gave us medicine to get rid of those nasty parasites! But thanks to all the love and care I received, I’m now a healthy, happy pup! I am a big spirit in a small package. I might not be the biggest pup around, but I have a heart full of love and a spirit that shines bright! I love hanging out with the bigger puppies and showing them that size doesn’t matter when it comes to having fun or taking a nap. I am a people person. I absolutely adore being around people. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch or in your arms, playing in the yard, or just being the center of attention, I’m happiest when I’m with my humans. I am healthy and ready to go home. I’m current on all my vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. I’m all set and ready to join your family! I’m looking for a family who will love me unconditionally and give me the attention I crave. In return, I’ll be your loyal companion, always ready to bring joy and laughter into your life. If you think we could be a perfect match, come visit me at Central Arizona Animal Rescue. Please send an e-mail to mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment to meet me, Ethall. If you are unable to adopt me, please share my video to help me find my forever home. For the other dogs available for adoption or to make a donation to help us, visit www.caaronline.org. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Tictok at www.facebook.com/centralarizonaanimalrescue, www.instagram.com/centralarizonaanimalrescue, and www.tiktok.com/@centralarizona. I can’t wait to meet you and start our new adventure together!   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Central Arizona Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation. We are located in San Tan Valley, AZ. If you have other dogs already, you must bring them for introduction prior to adoption. Despite missing her back paw pads and having paws that are larger than normal, Darla doesn’t let anything slow her down. She loves to play, run around, and go on walks with her tail wagging the entire time. Darla LOVES being with her fur pack and is incredibly affectionate and sweet. She’s crate trained, house trained, and uses a doggy door like a pro. Darla enjoys chewing on bones, playing ball, and riding in the car—she’s the ultimate co-pilot! This smart girl knows how to sit and listens attentively to commands. Her joyful spirit and wagging tail make it impossible not to smile when you’re around her. Darla is looking for a forever home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by love and care. Once you meet her, you won’t be able to resist falling in love with this happy, sweet, and resilient girl. Adopt Nato this Holiday Season! 🎁 Meet Nato, the sweet Labrador mix who's ready to spend the holidays—and a lifetime—by your side! Born in April 2021, Nato has a heart full of kindness and was an amazing mom to her pups. While she’s a bit shy with new people, she’s come so far in her foster home and is learning to trust and open up more each day. With a little patience and love, Nato is blossoming into the affectionate, loyal companion she’s meant to be! Nato loves to play with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy who enjoys a good rough-and-tumble session. She's a toy-destroying pro (watch out, squeakers!), loves tough chew toys, and is always ready for a game of tug-of-war. Oh, and did we mention? Nato’s a big fan of treats—what dog isn’t?! She’s crate-trained and loves her cozy naps in her crate. Nato walks beautifully on a leash and is eager to please, even though she’s still learning some basic commands. With a little time, patience, and consistent love, Nato’s playful, sweet personality will truly shine. This holiday season, could Nato be the furry companion you’ve been waiting for? Story
Kingston is a good dog overall. He is a bit excitable especially when people come to the house but is extremely friendly and calms after a few minutes. Not much experience around other dogs but the ones he has been around has been generally good. No actual issues just dogs being dogs. He is house trained and hasn’t had an accident inside in years. He is a very loving dog just a bit too excitable for our two small children and we feel we cannot give him the attention he deserves. He would thrive in a place with some land he can run around on. I always refer to him as our happy idiot. Not the smartest but a good happy dog.

Story
Very smart, loyal, playful. Basic commands. LOVES other dogs, very friendly to all people. Jett would love a yard to run in and to be part of a pack. He's never met any dog or person he doesn't love. (I bet he would love cats too) He's just a lover. He has a lot of energy, but I expect it from a young pup. He's potty trained and not destructive. Loves his crate and volunteers to go in and take naps daily to relax and decompress. Not destructive. Crate trained. Needs exercise and/or mental stimulation. Neutered. No meds. Perfect health. All vaccinations up to date. Comes with harness and leash and whatever food/treats I have left. I will bring him to meet you at your home. No apartments or townhomes. I prefer you have other dog(s) as Jett will be best mannered and happiest in a pack, but not required.

Story
Lucy is a sweet little girl I adopted in San Antonio TX in 2017. She was born May 2017. It was a much younger and simpler time in my life and I was able to give her the time and love she needed. Fast forward to now and I’ve struggled to give her the proper attention going on 2 years now due to an increasingly difficult work schedule. This has led to me having to leave her in the kennel for longer than I want, left me without energy to play with her and get her the exercise she deserves. I feel like she could use a yard to run, and some other dogs or kids to play around with. Or at least someone with the time and ability to care for her going forward. Things aren’t going to be getting easier for me, but I don’t think that should fall on her and ruin the good remaining years she could have with a loving owner/family. She’s always been quiet and well tempered, travels very well and gets along with everyone. I can answer any questions about her too.
