Story
5 year old Black Lab mix with horrific back storyAll dogs are located in southeast Arizona. They are between Benson and Willcox just south of Interstate 10. That is approximately 2 1/2 hours from Tempe or 1 hour east of Tucson. 602-316-8919 (no texts please) POOR LUKE!!!! Luke was found tied up at the county shelter. This is summer in Phoenix; how cruel can an owner be! Luke will never have to go through that again! Luke is a 5-year-old large boy weighing in at 82 pounds. Luke is a sweet boy and while no dog deserves to be tied up at a shelter, but especially a wonderful boy like Luke. Luke is a bit shy in rescue, but he is coming out of his shell and ready to enjoy life in a new forever home. Luke has nice house manners; he knew what a dog door was so at some point in his past he was probably loved. Luke would love a family that will take him walking, hiking or any activities with his humans, but his favorite activity will always be snuggling on the sofa. Luke could also be an apartment dog; he would be happy to watch Animal Planet while his family is at work or school. Please come meet this fabulous boy! 602-316-8919 (no texts please)November 3, 2024, 7:21 am

Story
Cowboy has been looking for his forever home for 509 DAYS! Cowboy was one of of 92 dogs chained up on a property in Mississippi, the owner of the property said Cowboy would probably be the only dog we wouldn’t be able to take, due to him being "human-aggressive". We promised him we'd get him off that chain. When we got Cowboy off the chain he had lived on for 7 years, I had a different dog in front of me. A friendly dog! We made the trek back to AZ, and Cowboy is EASILY the happiest dog I have ever met! Every day he wakes up, bouncing and prancing like “Omg! I can’t believe I get to see you guys again!!!” Cowboy would do best with someone who enjoys being active! He LOVES to run next to us on the bike, and the skateboard, and is an all-star at the slatmill! I would say he’s making up for lost time! He does well on leash and great in public. He would do best with female dogs, but no cats. Cowboy is shy, sweet, and has a very forgiving heart. Interested in adopting Cow? Ace is sweet, he gets along other dogs, he is house broken and knows how to use the dog door and he has been a wonderful joy in his foster home. Ace would be a great dog for an apartment, he is happy to watch Animal Planet while his humans are at work or school. Ace would love walks, hikes or any activity with his human family. However, if you miss a walk, Ace will be happy to snuggle with his family on the soda! Ace is 7 years old and weighs approximately 85 pounds. Story
SWEETEST PIT MIX IN WHOLE, WILD WORLDAll dogs are located in foster homes between Benson and WILLCOX just south of interstate 10. That is approximately 2 1/2 hours from Tempe or one hour east of Tucson.   Della is a beautiful and extremely sweet five-year-old labrador retriever mix. The county has her listed as an Australian Shepherd mix, but to be honest, she looks more like a bit of a pit mix. And while Fedwell Farm Rescue  does not rescue Pitties or Pit mixes unless they are hospice or super seniors, Della has been a wonderful addition to our rescue family.   Della is on the larger side of 76 pounds and has been just the best sweet girl in foster care.   She gets along well with other dogs. She is a bit shy, but loves belly rubs, and her people immensely.   Della is housebroken, no destruction, well mannered, we just don’t have enough adjectives to describe what a wonderful, wonderful girl she is   Della was abandoned in a dog park by her owner. The county shelter went to the dog park to pick her up and couldn’t believe what a fantastic girl she is.   Fedwell Farm Rescue was asked to help her and we try to stay away from Pitties and Pit mixes just because all of our dogs living together, she has been an absolute angel with no issues at all with other dogs or any aggression at all with anyone or anything.   Please come meet this girl. Please give her the forever home she deserves.   No Dog ever should be abandoned anywhere.   602-316-8919November 3, 2024, 7:21 am

Story
Talita This beautiful girl has been with us for 6 months. She raised a litter of pups and is now looking for her own family. Talita lived outside on a farm her entire life with little socialization when we rescued her. She is very timid and will need several visits to feel comfortable with new people. Talita is a dog’s dog! She gets along with all dogs and is a greeter to new dogs coming into the rescue and helps them to be more comfortable. She loves to play and can adjust her play style depending on the situation and her companion(s). She is also good with the cats. Very respectful, no chasing or barking at them. She is potty trained and crate trained, loves her crate and seems to use it to feel more comfortable in new situation or around new people. She walks well on leash and loves to hike. Talita would be best in a home with another dog or dogs, as she likes the company of another canine and is very playful. She has shown zero aggression to anyone but we want her to feel comfortable in her new home so we are looking for a home with children over 8 years old. Young kids can be scary for shy dogs. She is a wonderful traveler and companion. If you have patience and understanding and want to meet Talita, please reach out to us. $250November 5, 2024, 5:14 pm

Catalina is a 6 month old, 30 pound, beautiful lab mix. She loves people and has a number of doggy friends in her foster home. Catalina would love a home that is active as she would make a great running or hiking partner. She lived outside until we took her in two weeks ago and she is quickly learning to potty outside and rest in her crate. Continued training will help Catalina be the best girl she can be. Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated. $400 All of our adoption come with a session with one of our trainers.November 7, 2024, 10:37 pm
