Story
Venus is a 3-year-old, 51 lb sweetheart who was saved from the E list. She's a loving girl who just wants attention and to give you hugs. (No, seriously she LOVES hugs) She would do best in a home with NO small animals/cats. Venus is fine with other dogs in similar size with the proper introductions. Sweet Venus is potty trained and can sit on command. She loves treat puzzles but being the smart cookie she is, she figures them out pretty quickly. Venus is also a huge fan of peanut butter and ice cubes! She loves her little lambchop stuffy and plays very gently (she has even played fetch by herself when she gets the zoomies) This girl absolutely adores people and has endless love to give. She is the sweetest soul and deserves an equally loving home to call hers forever!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Goose and Maverick were found eating out of a trash can in a remote area of northern AZ. These boys were shy and friendly, clearly not used to much human interaction but very much craving it. From the moment we welcomed them into the Paw Placement family, they were nothing but sweet and loving. They were also unfamiliar with the world and many things our own pet dogs find normal - such as a leash, tile floors, cozy blankets, nutritious food. But these boys quickly learned what the good life looks like, and they are blossoming in their foster homes. Goose is loving and affectionate, smart and eager to please, playful and energetic. He adores his doggy foster siblings, and we'd be hard pressed to find a home without another dog that we'd be willing to place him in. For the first 5 months of his life, Goose knew nothing but life with his brother Maverick and, while it would be unhealthy to keep the brothers together (google Sibling Syndrome if you're not sure why), it would be best to place both boys in a home with another dog as they rely so heavily on other dogs for comfort and security. Goose is house and crate trained in his foster home. Though their breed is a mystery, they look like they might have some retriever, some chow chow, along with a mix of likely many other breeds. Their coats are similar to retriever coats, smoother and shorter than you'd expect from a chow. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application. We will only be able to email those applicants that are approved to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you in advance for your understanding if you don't hear back from us regarding your application.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 28, 2024, 1:22 pm

Story
Charlie is a yellow Labrador Retriever, 2 years old and 61 pounds full grown. He is a all around very good boy. Charlie is affectionate, soft loving and a goofy fun boy. Charlie has a big, beautiful personality that you can’t help but fall in love with. This happy boy loves everybody and all dogs are his friends. He’s very sociable. Charlie is in a foster home with several dogs of all sizes and he loves them all. He especially loves his foster dad and bonded quickly. Charlie was brought into Luv of Dogz Rescue after being found wondering the streets in the heat as a stray dog. He’s so thankful and shows it by his love and loyalty. Charlie walks great on a leash and loves going for walks when its cool enough. He also likes outdoor backyard playtime. His new family will need a house with a secure yard for him to run off energy and play in. Chalie can be in a home as an only dog but will need attention and time for fetch and toys. Charlie likes his crate and is crate trained. Charlie has been let down by humans when he was lost and scared roaming the streets. He will need a family that will value him, keep him safe and make him a part of the family. He will need a lifetime commitment to him through all life’s changes. Everybody needs a best friend Charlie in their life! Luvofdogzfund.org/adopt/application

Story
Stormi Sky is a Labrador Retriever and Dobie in her mix of 31 flavors. She is seven months old and weighs 40 pounds. She is growing longer legs, ears and her tail by the day. Its fun to watch her grow and change. Stormi has very tall legs. She is lean, sleek and slender. Her shiny charcoal black coat is easy to maintain. Stormi’s is gorgeous and very photogenic. Stormi is a happy, sweet, gentle and friendly girl. She loves everybody and just fits in. Her foster home has four other dogs and she likes having her people and other dogs around. She does do the Doberman “nose nudge” to people and dogs. Stormi walks great on a leash and loves her walks around the neighborhood. She also will jump right in the car and ready to go travel. She is happy to go wherever you are going. She loves her people and wants to be with you. Stormi is potty trained and can use a dog door. She also is crate trained and sleeps in her crate with a fluffy bed and soft blankets right beside my bed. She also likes to nap in her crate for short periods. Stormi loves her food and a great eater. Stormi is a BIG puppy since just seven months old. She does have puppy tendencies. She will need a lot of attention and playtime. She will need an active family who will involve her in all the family fun and make her a family member. Stormi’s new family will need a house with a yard for her to run and play and get out energy (no apartments) The yard will need to have a secure block wall to keep her safe. She would love to have a compatible, playful dog to play with. She will need another dog or dogs in the family to be with and play with. Stormi goes to day camp twice a week to get in extra playtime. She has a lot of doggie friends at day camp. Medium to large dogs would be best. She is a social butterfly. Stormi will need to have continued training as she matures. Stormi does love kids but due to her large size and being a puppy, mature children age 8 and up in the home is best. She could accidently knock toddlers and little ones down when excited. Stormi comes into your life and you have a small pony following you everywhere. When you meet her, you are instantly in love with this big and beautiful baby girl. Stormi Sky is ready to find her perfect family and be your shining star.. luvofdogzfund.org/adopt/application

Story
Santos is a beautiful, shiny black lab mix. He was initially shy and then will come to you for pets .and wants you to pet his head and body. He’s a big boy approximately 60 lbs. and has a medium-high energy. He is good with other dogs and lived with other dogs. Christopher said he played regularly. He is now 2.5 years old. Santos will need an experienced, patient handler, no young kids in the home because of his size and energy. He needs patient people He needs a place to decompress and receive basic training and leash skills. He would also benefit from another dog to play/learn from that’s a similar size or smaller. He is potty trained and uses a doggy door. He rides well in a car. His previous oner didnt want him Anymore sadly. She is looking for a fun, loving active family, who will show him that it is safe to be a dog and that he will be loved and never abandoned again. He will need a house with a secure wall and lots of love to give. Luvofdogzfund.org/adopt/application
